May 27, 2012my iPhone has as of today started to make screeching noises while I'm on the phone. No one else here's it it's only on my side of the call.

Aug 7, 2015For some reason my phone is now making an incredibly loud screeching noise when I am making a call. Both I and whoever is on the other end hear it. It could be a problem with the mic or earpiece. It is rooted with a custom rom on it.

Jan 3, 2014I was using a flashlight (torch) app to read with for the first time, and noticed after a few minutes that the camera body became extremely hot and that the OIS (image stabilisation) had been running the whole time. When I moved the camera in certain directions it made a loud screeching noise. I hoped it would improve once cool, but unfortunately not.So I will have to send it to Nokia for service/replacement, as it's ruined the ability to take videos, and who knows how much worse it will get.

Dec 1, 2014My Iphone 6 is making a clicking noise on the screen when you press on it near the volume buttons and i do t know what to do. I never dropped the phone and i do have a case on it. It is not bent at all. Just one day someone called me and when i put the phone on my check i heard it click. First i thought it was the case so i took it off but u still heard the sound Should i take it to an Apple Store ?

IPhone :: On/Off And Volume Buttons Making Loud Noise When Pressed?
Mar 20, 2012I recently purchased an iPhone 4S brand new and sealed and it's been about a month now and the on/off button and volume buttons seem to get stuck when being pressed. I have to apply more pressure than generally required to get them to function correctly. And when I do that, I hear this loud clicking noise as if the button was not making the right contact with the insides and happens to sit in place after the pressure is applied. It feels like I'm cracking the inside of the phone every time I press them so kind of worried about it.
Another thing I've noticed it when I press the Up volume button, the volume goes up and then back down sometimes in an instance, as if the button seems to be pressing the down volume button aswell from beneath it. The rest of the phone is fine. Is this a common issue and will I be able to get this fixed under my warranty as it is covered til next year?

Jun 21, 2010I know that you can set the phone to make a noise when you click the trackpad - that isn't my issue because I have this feature turned off. My issue is that when I scroll down on the trackpad I'm hearing a clicking noise, almost like the trackpad is too loose and is hitting the silver lining. I'm not trying to be picky, but it's really annoying when scrolling through emails or through the browser. I stopped by the Verizon store and the tech told me it's because I have big thumbs and they're hitting the keys below, which I showed him wasn't the case. He also said the trackpad being angled to the right appears to be on purpose because their demo is like that. I was just wondering if anyone else noticed the clicking noise when scrolling down?

Apr 4, 2010I have the X6. The phone rings and I unlock the keyguard using the slider on the side of the phone and the phone stops ringing. Then in order to answer the phone I press the green button on the bottom left of the phone or I press answer call on the screen and then I can speak which I suppose sounds fair enough. But I just think that something is wrong because surely the phone should continue to make the 'ringing' noise until I actually answer the call rather than going mute just because I have unlocked the keyguard.. Apr 13, 2012I´ve had my Iphone 4s since january and have use a cable to extract audio to play it in the car. A couple of days ago I took the earphones that came with the phone and started using them.
Everything sounded good, podcasts, songs, games. Yesterday I used an application called brainwaves that is a sound generator (alpha, beta, etc. waves). After that, I tried to listen to more music and noticed that the sound on the right earpiece is distorted.
I tried closing all application, reseting the phone, I even restore it with Itunes, and it is the same. I tried some other earphones without the control switch, and the noise-distorition dissapears. I connect the cable to listen music in the car, and the problem is there.
I tried different songs and podcast, and the problem is still there. Is this a problem with the output jack? the earphones? software?

Apr 24, 2012I bought a 4s about 3 months ago, and have been using the new earphones with it. In the last few days, as I'll be listning to music, there has been a popping noise coming from just one of the earphones. It doesn't sound like an electronic pop, like coming from the music or whatever,but it sounds like there is actually something clicking/popping inside the earphone. Could there literally be something inside that's doing that? Or is it a software issue that sounds like a physically created noise? Can I get my headohones replaced?
