I have tried everything holding down the home and power button but to no success I have tried to boot into dfu mode but no response doesn't seem like its charging neither I just have a blank iphone 4s infront of me.

I've seen that on some other Xperia phones, you hold down the menu button as the phone boots, but the Ray doesn't have a hard menu button so.... I tried holding the home button, then the volume buttons, and neither worked. Is there a way to boot the Ray into safe mode?

View 1 Replies View RelatedXperia Z5 won't load into safe mode. Tried connecting through the micro USB cable, while holding down the power off button, and up volume key, it vibrates 3 times, but does nothing.
I've tried 3 different methods, but I can't seem to get it to work.
I've not unlocked my phone, or done anything its a standard Z5 Compact, no bootloader unlocked, or custom kernal etc installed.
Does anyone know how to get this into bootloader mode? I can fix it from there.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9000 and this morning my BB Desktop manager told me that there is a new software update available and recommended (as always) it. I have started the process and as the device was about to restart it indicated software update failure and now my BB is stuck in boot mode and won't go further.What is the solution? I have recon that I will be loosing all my data on it regardless of what I am doing but right now the device won't go pass the booting screen.

I figured the batt was dead but when tried to switch it on it would fully boot but show the home screen. I security wiped yesterday because of a problem with App world. Nexus 5 showing black screen
1.Can access fastboot mode
2.Cannot access recovery mode from fastboot : shows google logo and black screen (no inverted android)
3.When selecting Start from fastboot : only google logo appears and then black screen (not even the marshmallow boot animation)
Things Tried :
1.Phone was able to ring from android device manager. Tried erase from there. No response
2.Tried flashing the stock rom still no response.
What might be the issue ? Is the internal memory corrupted ?The phone boots up able to hear screen shot sound but still black screen..The LG customer care replaced the flex cable and it works now. It costs 1600INR (around 15$)
I got a nexus 5 that won't boot into recovery or download mode. What can i do? I'm not sure if it has custom recovery or original.
When i try to boot with VOL-DOWN+POWER it shows google logo and then a constant red light on the home button. if i take my fingers off it will just power off.

I have tried everything from removing battery, removing SD CARD, SIM CARD, connecting to charger, connecting to USB cable on my laptop, holding volume up, home, and power button. My biggest fear is losing all my data. I have 100's of photos of my 3 month old newborn on my phone memory because I was running low on my SD CARD. I can't fathom losing all her newborn pictures.
As I was talking on my Razr v3 yesterday, I experienced what I thought was just another typical of many AT&T dropped calls. However, upon further inspection, I noticed my phone had gone into boot loader mode for no apparent reason. It's done this on a couple of occasions. Once after it was accidentally dropped and another when I turned it off (then back on) because I was on a plane trip. I've been able to get it back to normal by just power cycling it until it booted.This time no such luck and the screen says the battery is 'too low to program' so if I wanted to attempt to flash it which is something I have NEVER done, I couldn't even do it due to the low battery. This is the only Razr I have and I don't know anyone that still uses one so I don't have one available to put my battery in to charge.Is this the only way to charge the battery? Is it not possible to charge it with the power off?

I did not install a custom rom or anything. no root. randomly in my every day normal usage of my phone, it started to restart. and the the problem got worse and worse. for a few minutes, i will be able to use my phone but then my phone will restart and be stuck restarting. most of the times I can't even go into recovery mode. It restarts again when i get to that. I already resetted my phone, and I wiped the partition.
I have a samsung galaxy s6 SM-G920W8 telus/koodo 32 gb. i got the battery replaced by samsung but that didnt work. i noticed that after a few hours, my phone stops restarting when it reaches to 10% battery life.
Trying to root my nexus 6 via mac. I have installed android file transfer.
I have the phone in boot loader mode. OEM on. USB debugging on.
I have Windows running on my mac too.
But no matter what I do, as soon as I put it in boot loader mode it isn't recognized.
I wanted to test booting into safe mode so I followed the directions here. I did get the "safe mode" in the lower left hand corner of the screen. But soon after that it restarted by itself and started back up in normal mode. I tried that 3 time and the same thing happened.

I did notice that airplane mode is stuck tuning off.
I rooted the phone (very new to rooting) but didn't go so far as to flash a mod. I unrooted the phone back to stock. It was fine for a couple of weeks, then one day randomly lost signal.
I've tried factory resetting but no luck.
I Just reflashed my N900 to RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.19-1.203.1_PR_COMBINED_203_ARM and wanted to clear it completely by flashing RX-51_2009SE_10.2010.13-2.VANILLA_PR_EMMC_MR0_ARM Though the first 1 flashes just fine, but the vanilla file wont flash. This is really embarassing during meetings, etc. This was the problem in original android. Then I upgraded android to 4 ICS.
