I just noticed that when I press the home screen button on my iPhone, it takes about 2 or 3 seconds until it responds. I compared it to my brother's iPod touch that has iOS 4. My iPhone is slower than his. Can anyone explain this or give me some advice on how to fix it?

I have a user whose phone is slow to respond only when she selects the Telephone. So I can go into the contacts and scroll up and down and can select contacts and they come right up. I can open apps and type on the keypad with no problems. When I select the phone and say go to contacts (which worked great by itself), I slide my finger up and about 5-7 seconds later the list moves. I select a contact and wait 5-7 seconds again, I type on the number pad and it takes a long time for numbers to appear, same slowness in favorites as well. Anyone know a fix for this? I tried a hard restart by holding the wake/sleep button and home button for 10 seconds but that didn't do anything.

i am new to iphone, this is 1st time i took touch screen mobile..being an it engg i do have habbit of messing up with gadgets and then fixing :-pdid same with new iphone 3g.. restored it manytimes like 5-6 maybe.. within 3hours of time.. jailbroken with blackrain.. unlocked using cydia..actually i was trying to fix the gps, wi-fi and Internet problem that happens when u jailbreak it.
now the issue is.. browsing options on my phone is slow dont know whats the problem..
if i go inside any application its opening slowly.. takes arround 3 secs to open, for example camera, photos, settings and sub-menus.. everything is slow
I see most other people with Android phones can long press the answer button on their bluetooth headset to start the voice dialing on the phone. When I do this, nothing happens. Should I be able to speak my contacts name and have it dial? Or is this option not available on the M8?

Phone was working fine, then started to not go to sleep when I pressed the power button. It also frequently posts a message informing me about how to restart the phone using the power and volume buttons. It only goes away if I press the volume up or down.
How to prevent it. I tried a hard reset but have had no success with it.
I'm currently facing this problem and it's really annoying. I never update my phone or whatever because it will slow it down.
My phone went out of battery and it turned off. So i plug the charger in and waited for it to restart. After restarting it, I realize there are several settings that ran away IE: My ringtone preferences and keyboard preferences. So far, I've already readjust it, But ever since the phone restarted like that, I can no longer lock my screen, not even if it times out itself after 15 seconds. and when i press and hold the power off button, instead of showing the menu for options like "Silent phone"/Flight mode"/"Shut down" it only shows power off. What can i do to get the original settings back ?
i have recently brought a sony xperia z3+. Love the phone and everything is fine. Until a day or two ago. Everytime i make a call the screen goes dark. I can't have access to the speaker or mute button or the dial buttons nothing. Until i press the power button which then terminates the call.

What's happening is that whenever I press the home button on the bottom of the handset, it will take a screen capture (even when I don't press the lock button). It's kinda tempremental, however it's doing it about 3 times a day...and the only way to stop it is by restarting the phone!I have done a factory reset on the phone and updated all its software but that hasen't seemed to in the slightest.

I'm sure I changed it to this at some point from something else however I don't know how or where etc. My friend's Blackberry (same Bold 9700) has a lock screen that shows a padlock to say it's locked but I don't get this? Any ideas? This lock screen displays her background image and a little padlock in the bottom corner etc.

Every time when I want to end my call and take the phone off my ear I have to wait about 3 seconds for screen to turn back on so I can press end call button.
I found out that, it is slow response now. I check all the application what is running on the phone, but nothing special. Is there any firmware that I need to do? I heard that, from Korea Galaxy S has been firmware upgraded and working better. And also motion sensor? that response is slow too. Last night I bluetooth 25 songs to my phone. I don't have videos and 8 photos on my phone. I also don't have other unnecessary applications. I have noticed this phone goes between 3G and EDGE. When its on EDGE then I can put the phone away then I can't do anything.why when I download some "free" applications, like world radio, and when I use it, I get charged. My service provider can't figure this out as it's a BB application. if I audio stream a local radio station [URL] then I experience constant buffering. As per the radio host, I'm the only one that experience this. What can I do?

I have loaded a couple of apps from the Android Market (MyPhoneExplorer and SqueezeBox Commander), but, apart from that it is fairly standard. For instance, if the screen has powered off then I press the power button - up pops the display, showing time. Sometimes, if it tap the screen, it says screen is locked and drag down, but, often it doesn't and I have to power off/on again. When it does appear, it is a total lottery whether it will drag down and unlock - occasionally, it drags half way even! It is as if the CPU is going flat out doing something else and can't be bothered to respond to what I am doing.

View 5 Replies View RelatedThe A key has stopped working and all the other keys are slow to respond. When the backlight turns black, the only thing I can do to get it back on is to press and hold the off button till the screen reappears, whereas usually I can press any key if the keypad is unlocked which it is...Also sometimes it'll freeze and none of the keys will work yet the rollerball will...I've pulled the battery out and also checked to see if it needed an update through the blackberry desktop software but nothing, been reading some posts to see if anything will help but nothing yet.I want to try wiping the phone by going to option>security options>general... etc and wiping the handheld but it appears I don't have a general tab, once I go into the security options I have Advanced scurity options, encryption, firewall, information and security wipe but none of these help (I want to wipe the whole handheld not do the security wipe).

It sometimes works perfectly but then i try and press a button on the left hand side of the screen and it chooses the one at the right-hand side. This obviously makes everything very difficult! Any ideas as to why this might be/how I could repair it? I've tried the touch screen calibration about 10 times, it sorts it out for about a minute.I can send it to Nokia to replace but I could really do without sending my phone away
