View 5 RepliesI've had this iPhone for about 7-8 months, and this started 3 weeks ago, I woke up in the morning and looked at the time on my phone, and it suddenly just turns off and turns back on showing the apple logo, and now it happened again twice!! Is there any way to fix this problem i've restored my phone fresh twice, no icloud no backup nothing installed, I also have 8.9 GB available.

I have an iPhone 4, and it is probably 3-4 years old, and has no obvious extrernal problems except that the lock screen button doesn't work. That stopped working about 3 months ago, and i went to the apple store and they said there was nothing to do about it. They also looked at the iPhone and said that there were no problems with the battery life or anything (it was a dot in the greenest section on the picture for battery life). but, since then my iPhone had been randomly turning off. At the beginning, since my lock button was broken i would just plug it in, and it would turn on about 2 mins later saying very low battery, but it would go straight back to whatever charge it was before in a couple of minutes (usually about 50%). Â
But today, it randomly turned off while i was using the calculator. I tried pressing the home button, but nothing happened. I plugged it in, it made the 'plm' sound it does when it charges, but the screen turned black. Â
I think it was maybe a problem with the display. Because i have the apple headphones, and i used them to make the music play, and it did, i just couldnt see the screen. About 3 hours after it turned off (no screen on, but still music and sound), it turned back on again fully (with the screen). I have already been to the apple store about this matter, and they said they essentially have no idea why its happening. Usually it turns back on when it plugs in, but today it didnt.Â

View 1 Replies View RelatedTwo nights ago my camera started to come on randomly. I tried a battery pull but no change. I did not really mind until I found out the hard way this morning that when the camera is on the alarm will not sound.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIt turns off whenever I try to use the browser or the camera without fail and other random times. In these instances, it doesn't not show a battery drained shutting down warning. It has to be charging in order for it to reboot, but once it does the battery reads that it is 100% charged. Being on a phone call will drain a full battery in less than 5 mins, and it will flash the empty battery and say radio too low for handset use or whatever. In this case, I can charge it and it goes through the usual process where the light turns yellow and the bar slowly fills up. If I do a battery pull at this time, it restarts fully charged. The time it lasts out of the wall is anywhere from 5 mins-1 hour. I have no 3rd party applications and I did a complete device reset last month due to the same problems. I don't know much about software, but it says everything is up to date.

Occasionally the phone's screen will turn white. What I've noticed as that it typically happens after the phone shuts itself off. I don't know how it turns off, and it doesn't happen often, but occasionally I'll pull my phone out of my pocket and find that it's completely off. When I turn it back on it will boot all the way to the home screen without issues and then the screen will fade to white and stay that way. Pulling the battery does not fix the issue. All it does is kill the battery more than having the screen being all white and full power. Most recently it happened while I was navigating the Store in the Amazon Kindle program. Looking around I've seen conversations stating that the screen's going bad (which I doubt), the OS needs to be reinstalled (which I attempted through the Desktop Manager and I think I did it how I'm supposed to without wiping it with a 3rd party program), or that the phone is defective. My dad got the phone in November of 2008, and I got it when he decided to get an iPhone.
My screen, despite the backlight timer settings, turns off at random times, sometimes when im in the middle of texting. WTF is goin on!? I literally got this phone yesterday. An upgrade from the worst phone i've ever had the misfortune of having, the first bb storm to come out,
View 6 Replies View RelatedSo two weeks ago I decided I want to upgrade my SII. I connected with Kies and I started with upgrade. Everything went fine until I restarted my phone. Ever since then my screen completely randomly turns itself on, like I pressed any button. It's really annoying and I don't know how to fix this. I even removed most of my applications I downloaded from Market Play.

I have to use the power button to turn it on again and wait for it to boot, showing the hand animation/boot screen. I can't locate the reason for this, is it hardware/software or purely battery related. It doesn't seem to happen when plugged in into the charger.

My S6 is on 5.0.2 (No 5.1.1 for the international S6 yet) and this happens when there's no charger plugged in and no new notification. No case on it or anything pressing against the power button. Its definitely a software related bug. It happens randomly maybe twice or thrice a day but I've only noticed it in the past 2 days. Its happened almost 10 times so far including thrice in the past 4 hours.
My main concern is screen burn on the Amoled (happened to one of my Lumia's and the huge battery drain if I don't notice that its turned on.
After a few days of using my Xoom (not powering it down) the notification light begins blinking for no reason that I can discover. I have used Android App Killer to shut down everything that is running and I cannot find a reason for the light to be on. Even disabling the light in settings will not stop it, nor will turning off notifications. When I reboot the tablet, it works as normal again for a few days. This started after I upgraded to Jelly Bean.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm not sure what's causing this, but the screen just randomly turns on sometimes but doesn't make a sound. I've thought this was a notification but sometimes there is one and sometimes there isn't. The phone's sitting perfectly still on a desk or lamp table etc. I don't have any settings on that turn the screen on for notification.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI've got this issue for about two or three days now. Quite often, when I take a picture with stock Google camera app, my Nexus turns off instantly. Then, when I try to turn it on again, it often turns off again in about one minute and usually it shows almost empty battery (even though before shutdown it was nearly full).
First it has appeared on stock rooted 4.4.4, the phone tried to boot like 10 times, so I erased cache and dalvik via TWRP, but then it didn't detect SIM card and showed unknown baseband. I solved it by flashing bootloader and radio.
Then, I installed a stock 5.1.1, rooted it again (I thought it would solve the issue), but the same problem with camera occurred. So, could it be hardware issue? How to debug it?
I turned my phone off and when I tried to turn it on the apple logo appeared on the screen but then it shut down. I have tried turning it on several times but the same thing happens over and over again. I plugged it in to my computer and also tried charging it but nothing works!

I have a JB iPhone 3G 3.1.2 OS. Everything has been fine until now. I had SBRotator on and all of a sudden it started to go really slow and in the end not respond. So i turned my iphone off by holding the power and home buttons and now whenever I turn it on it stays on the apple logo screen for about 10 seconds and then switches itself off. I've never had a problem with SBRotator before. What can I do to get it working again?
View 4 Replies View RelatedOver the last 3 days ive noticed my phone using a lot more battery than it usually does, i can usually get upto 2 days battery usage when its used frequently, but it has been getting less than a day over the last 3 days.
I turned the phone off with the power button and tried to turn it on again, The instant i press the power button the screen turns on (stays black but becomes a dark grey with the backlight) for about 30 seconds, but nothing else happens, the screen turns off after those 30 seconds and its back to square 1.I have tried turning it on again without a sim card, or memory card, or both and still the same result
o.k. so this phone has been wet, but dryed it out and it worked for a while then it started turning itself off now quite often 30-40 seconds. I changed the battery so its not that then i swapped the logic board with another phone and it worked in that one so i don;t know what else there is in the phone..

I have 3Gs. It recently started turning off by itself. I could be listening to music, making a call, on the interenet, or whatever. It turns off with the charger in or out. Most of the time it turns back on right after. Sometimes i will have to maually turn it on. It takes almost 3 minutes to turn back on. Then it will stay on from anywhere between 3 and 30 minutes before it turns back off. It also turns off sometimes when it is shook. Thats only somethimes though. I really need a way to fix this. Please if anyone has any ideas, post them here. Thank you

I got my iphone 4s 3 weeks ago, it was working perfectly for 2 days but then i started noticing that the phone turns off at 20% charge left in the battery, and today I was talking on the phone and the earphone stopped working, so i tried putting the phone call on speaker and it worked fine, and then i put it back in the ear phone and I couldn't hear a thing !the problem is that i don't have a warranty, Note :
1) I tried hardware reset?
2)recovering the phone on itunes?
3) I deleted all the data from it?
4)I use my phone daily for about 5 to 6 hours for games and apps, I don't know should I use less?
