Jan 28, 2016I understand that only one speaker work while on call but its extremely quiet..I know both of my speaker work since I play youtube and its loud as hell.

IPhone 5 :: Call Sound Extremely Quiet
Aug 25, 2014I've had my iPhone 5 for about 6 months and its worked fine but the last few weeks the call sound has been really quiet. I can barely hear what the other person is saying. The sound plays fine for everything else though like music, ringtones, alarms etc. It definitely hasn't got the protective film on it still it doesn't have a screen protector on it either and the sound bar is up to the highest volume possible

Nov 2, 2015I swapped from a Nexus 5 to the 6P, and I'm finding bluetooth volume to be incredibly low. I basically can't hear my audiobooks in the car with it being as low as it is. This is a serious problem for me. I have the volume maxed and it's like a whisper.

Mar 5, 2015For some reason my speakers volume are extremely low where the lower speaker doesn't function at all. Headphone jack not plugged in, did not go into or even near water either. Tried shaking and blowing the jack, still max volume is extremely low.

Jan 26, 2016I run a very small business and I'm occasionally on-site at my customers office most of the time. So whenever i'm out, i divert my office number to my Nexus 6P.
So the issue is that it's quite difficult for me to distinguish between a personal call or if it's a diverted call from my office to my Nexus 6P. Previously on Nokia or certain Samsung phones, there was an 'indicator icon' showing that it was a diverted/forwarded call. This worked for me tremendously.
It's definitely a phone feature and *not* a carrier issue. Have downloaded 3 apps (2 free and 1 paid) from the Play store, but they all do not seem to work. Am on "Pure Nexus" ROM.

Feb 5, 2016My nexus 6p has worked fine for months however I woke up yesterday morning to find it would not play a video on YouTube. Continuing to use it I noticed the following symptoms:Wont play videos of any kind (youtube, Facebook etc)Speakers do not work at all phone hangs and will not connect during incoming or outgoing calls. The call may connect after several minutes of the screen hanging on the blue calling screen however speakers don't work anyway.Phone restarts itself randomly.I have tried a hard reset from recovery, wiped cache, booted to safe mode etc with no change. The phone is bone stock and has not been rooted.

Nov 10, 2015If I make a call as soon as I press to dial the screen goes black and I can't reactivate it unless the person in the other end hangs up, so if it goes to voice mail I have to restart my device, if the person hangs up I have to double tap the power button to wake it up but that activates the camera, that's the only way I'm able to do it.

The lady says that the screen is suppose to go and stay off during a call. Never heard of that from a phone. You cannot respond or do anything during the call.

My phone is unlocked & rooted, however my wife's is complete stock so I know that can't be the issue. I've also tried disabling the "enhanced" calling with LTE under cellular networks on both devices and this doesn't fix the issue, either.

Jan 29, 2016I'm trying to use the Nexus 6P's native dialer to make calls through my SIP provider. I have a configuration that works perfectly on the Nexus 5X and older 6 (shamu). I entered all my information in Dialer > Calls > Calling accounts > SIP accounts, and then enabled the account under ... > Calling accounts > All calling accounts. However, whenever I attempt to make a call through my SIP provider on the 6P, a message pops up saying "Can't make outgoing calls while call barring is on."
Note that: I can make regular phone calls from my mobile number just fine, tested with both a Verizon and a T-mobile SIM. However, the SIP call barring problem persists regardless of which SIM is in the phone.
I can make SIP calls using other apps, like CSIPSimple, so it's not a port blocking issue.
I can receive incoming SIP calls (to my DID number) just fine when enabling ... > Calling accounts > Receiving incoming calls, so clearly I didn't mistype my SIP account password. (I visually checked that all the other settings are identical between my 5x and 6P.)
I'm definitely on WiFi when I experience the problem. To be extra sure, I even tried it with airplane mode and WiFi both on, which is fine for CSIPSimple or incoming calls but still doesn't work for outgoing calls with the android dialer.
The message pops up instantly, making it seem like a setting on the phone rather than a response to network messages.
For what it's worth, I'm running build MMB29M (android 6.0.1). My phone is unlocked but not rooted. (I can still get root access to /data by booting TWRP, but have never mounted my system partition read-write.) The one thing it might be is that I put a Verizon SIM in my Nexus 6P when first booting it, whereas my other phones were all first booted with a T-mobile SIM. I think that caused some VZW apps to be installed that I since removed; perhaps it messed up other settings. I'm a bit reluctant to wipe my phone and try again, but will do it if it's the only solution.
Huawei Nexus 6P :: Blocked Call List Quick Access - Search
Feb 12, 2016This question is not specific to the Nexus 6P, but that is the phone I carry. I add 2 or 3 phone numbers (telemarketers) to my blocked call list every week. When a telemarketer calls, I
(1) hang up,
(2) go to the call log,
(3) tap the call record to expand it,
(4) tap "call details", then
(5) select "block number."
That's all very simple.The issue is that now that I have dozens or hundreds of blocked numbers , when I miss a call, there's no easy way to see if the missed call was from a number on my blocked list. A missed call from a blocked number looks the same as a missed call from an un-blocked number (unless they're in my contact list). I can scroll through (but not search or sort) my blocked call list by
(1) opening phone app,
(2) tapping "Settings" in the primary menu, then
(3) tapping "Call Blocking."
This presents a list of all of the numbers that I've ever blocked, but I can't search it and I can't sort it.
in a perfect world, the Call Log would somehow show a flag for missed calls from blocked numbers so that I don't have to search the list to see if the number is blocked. In an even more perfect world, a tap on that number would take me to a detail page showing all the times that number has called and been blocked. Finally, the blocked number list would be both searchable and sortable. I think that most/all of this could be accomplished by a 3d party app - for which I'd gladly pay five bucks. There are lots of call blocking apps on the market, but they all appear to operate separately from the Android native call blocking function.

Huawei Nexus 6P :: Phone Does Not Put Call Sound (ringing Or Talking) Through Headphones
Jan 19, 2016I will be listening to music through headphone, and a call comes and it isnt through headphone, I call with headphones in and call goes through phone speaker as if I do not have hadphones in at all.
If I press the speakerphone button, I will then hear through my headphone, but still cant talk through headphone mic.
I thought the call screen is supposed to give you options (headset, or headphones) but I think only saw it once, only thing the button does now is just switch the speakerphone and off the speakerphone.
