How can I get my ical events from my iMac to my iPhone? Anything I entered into ical on my iPhone will transfer to ical on iMac when plugged in, but not vice versa. I think I have changed my iPhone (after looking at similar questions) to iCloud, but it's still not syncing.

Since I updated my iphone 4 with the software for iphone 4s my ical on my imac won't synch with my iphone calendar. Also events are duplicated. I have to check both calendars to ensure I don't miss any events and have to physically re enter them separately into the different calendars.

I just upgraded to iPhone 4. I have MobileMe and haven't had any syncing problems between my MacBook iCal, MobileMe web calendar, and Calendar on my iPhone 3G. Now, whenever I modify a previously-created event on my iPhone, it creates a new event on MobileMe and my MacBook iCal with the newest event info, leaving the old one intact. No duplicate on my iPhone.

Things I've entered on the iPhone calendar won't transfer over to ical, but syncing does seem to work the other way. I've tried some of the fixes suggested (deleting the sync file using Terminal, toggling on and off the different calendar options, etc) but nothing seems to fix it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just switched from the default Samsung calendar app to the Google Calendar app. Events from my primary Google calendar, "Personal", appear on the Google Calendar app on my S5, but the calendar itself doesn't appear as an option when creating new events or in the Settings page. As a result, I can see all of my events that I enter via my PC browser (correctly under the label "Personal"), but I cannot add new events from my phone to that specific calendar. My other, less frequently used Gmail calendars (Birthdays, work, a few shared calendars) appear.

There are a million timer aps, and project management apps, and other variations on time logs. But I have been unable to find one that does precisely what I want to do. Start a timer on my iPhone when I begin work on a discrete project. Stop the timer when I stop work.Have an iCal entry created on my iPhone calendar which indicates that block of time. I do NOT need to manage a large number of projects, create complex reports, do billing, or anything like that. I am just looking for a way to be able to open iCal and get a visual assessment of when and how much time I am actually devoting to three-five priority areas.
Here is what I have been able to find and do NOT want:Manually creating iCal entries with start and stop times, that the app can then aggregate and report time spent.A timer that creates a separate log or standalone calendar - completely removed from iCal.
If I start working on a goal area at 3:15pm and stop 90 minutes later, I want to be able to start the timer. Stop the timer. And have an iCal entry that starts at 3:15pm and ends at 4:45pm automatically created in iCal.

So, the other day my mother accidentally erased all of her events in iCal on her Mac. She still had them all on her iPhone, so she tried to sync it with her Mac to undo the deletions. But it did the opposite; all of her events were lost on her phone. Luckily, I was able to restore her back-up onto her iPhone. I use an iPhone 3GS as well as a desktop Mac (10.5.8).Whenever I sync these two devices, I never had a problem.I used a wire to do it and it was fine. Lately, however,I have definitely had problems. I connect the two devices and though it looks like it's going through the whole syncing process, it never syncs the iPhone calendar with iCal.This may not be germain, but lately I have also been getting an error message on my Mac that says Microsoft Office synching is not working.
