HTC One M9 :: Why Can't Transfer SMS From Old Samsung S5
Oct 15, 2015I can't get the HTC transfer tool to copy my sms messages from my old Samsung S5 to my new HTC one M9. Are there any other ways or hints on how to get this done?

Samsung :: Want To Transfer Some Ringtones
Mar 11, 2010I have searched high & low for drivers for this phone. When connected via. USB, it shows up in Dev. manager as drivers not loaded. They are not on Verizons/Samsung website.Phone is viewable in "My Computer" as "Samsung Phone Browser" .Have tried using Samsung PC Studio 7, but it will not recognize the phone.Just want to transfer some ringtones.

Mar 10, 2010I've tried Samsung PC Studio 7 with no luck - it will not recognize my phone. Have changed USB phone settings to Modem as I read in a thread somewhere, still no luck.
I don't have texting, don't use internet on the phone, so I can't email them to the phone.
I was able to transfer mp3's via. the USB cable & sync with Windows Media player, that works great, but I can't get them to set as a ringtone...
Is the only "free" way to put ringtones on this phone is to use a SD card? If so, how is that accomplished?

Dec 9, 2011just bought this samsung galaxy s2 and i am lost already. i have a samsung genio mobile that i wish to transfer all my calendar events over to the new s2 mobile 203 of them. dont want to start typing them into the new phone one by one lol. my old genio was backed up using the pc studio software but iam told this will not work with the s2. i joined a google account tonight to see if i can transfer the calendars from genio to google then to s2 but couldnt work it out. i am a complete novice when it comes to any thing like this . also if you can take me through the stages of transfering all my events to my new phone

Tried bluetooth, paired with my laptop (entered 0000 as PIN code since had no clue what to use for that), but couldn't make any file transfer. All the folders on the Eternity showed empty and there was no any option to find the contact info I wanted to transfer anyway. What am I doing wrong?Since I'm switching to Verizon, I can't use the SIM card just to stick it in the new phone.Tried bluetooth with the new phone too (HTC Droid Eris). I downloaded some wall papers and ringtones to my home computer from a website and am trying to transfer them from my computer to the phone, but everytime i plug the usb cable in it says windows xp is looking for the drivers to install but it never finds any. I want to use Kies as it compresses the photos, which is perfect, but it copies all photos into the DCIM/camera folder on the phone. How do I change the destination location for photos/music please? Plus can I transfer folders so the folder structure is kept intact and not all dumped into 1 folder like it is doing now?

Dec 12, 2011when I plug my S2 into my laptop (Macbook pro) and choose data transI was expecting to see an icon representing the phone show up on the Finder desktop. That's not happening. Instead I'm prompted to "press the home key to quit Samsung Kies" Am I doing something wrong or do I HAVE to open Kies in order to see my phone's memory (32GB SD). My Nokia N8 would just show up on the desktop...not so with the GS2.
PS. Does using the USB invoke Samsung Kies to open up? I'm not seeing anything on my homescreen except the word "Connecting"...and the little dots that indicate the phone is thinking about something,..but nothing ever happens beyond that.
