HTC One M8 :: Notifications From App That Isn't Installed

A couple of mornings ago, the Retailmenot app began displaying a notification, but I have not installed the app. Never even heard of it... I tapped on it this morning, and nothing launches. Could this somehow have been associated with a HTC or Google app? There's been a ton of Apps I haven't updated (probably at all this year) since I don't use them. So my question is how do I get rid of this annoying notification?
Has any one else noticed that after an app is updated from the marketplace, the reminder in the notification bar is not always there?Today, I update two apps, and got a notification about one of them.Yesterday, I updated one, and didn't get any notification.It doesn't seem to matter whether I do them individually, or tap the "update x" button.
I have installed the Blackberry messenger on my Bold 9000. It's fully functional.I have 4 small icons now, indicating that I have new messages, but I can't find any new once.
Looking into this matter I found that in my Application Center, the BB Messenger is listed as "not installed" even though I installed it. Re-install also hasn't helped.i cannot delete it as "delete" is not listed in the menu. I'm also not able to see the application using teh Desktop Manager.
so my question are:
1) How can I find out what are the 4 icons indicating?
2) How can de-install my messenger now to just start from scratch?
I have a Galaxy S5 and would like to be able to stop the notification of receiving an e-mail without stopping the notification of text messages. Is there a way to differentiate? I was able to do this on older phones.
I have certain apps "i.e. quick change keyboards", I like to have the notifications for it shown on my notification screen, but I do not want to see it on my lock screen. Other apps I DO want to see on the lock screen.
Does anyone know if I'm allowed to buy the invisible shield off of zagg.com and then take it to a Best Buy store to get it installed. I can get the shields off of zagg.com a lot cheaper than at the Best Buy, but I'm afraid that BB won't do it because I didn't buy it from them...
I've been having a lot of trouble with my HTC One lately and decided to format data and then was planning on reinstalling the Android Revolution HD ROM that I've been using. In formatting though I lost the file and am now sitting with only TWRP installed and no file to flash.
Iv seen on other android phones that they have an pre-installed app called gallery that is a better for veiwing photos, how do I use this app ? its installed on the phone ?
I have Nokia X2-02. I cannot use Facebook Pre-installed. Whenever i starts facebook app is starts and keeps loading and loading!!! I have used this app before on my X2-02 but now this facebook app is not working.
Hi, i installed yesterday Rom for my neo v for ICS 4.0.4 but after i installed the phone doesn't want to work and when i open it,the sony logo just appear and nothing happened. What can i do to recover my previous system.
Every once in awhile, I try to watch a video from the net on my phone. It tells me that I need to install Flash Player and provides a link. When I get to the button that says DOWNLOAD, it just hangs there and never installs.
I have a serious problem.. I have the HTC one m7. Initially, this phone was running the htc sense. After that, I did unlock the bootloader, turn it S-off and install GPE 4.4.4. As I was trying to figure out how to install the new 5.0.1, I ran into a website that told me to wipe system and data from recovery before installing the new stock android (because other tutorials did not work for me)! I read some comments that this worked for some people. Thus, I did that. From then, everything is not working, I have no OS, there is no devices shown on adb (the toolbar says that the device was not installed properly). Moreover, I did not backup my phone before. I tried a tutorial from wonder-how-to, but it is not working.. adb sideload is also not working.
I'm missing an app from the App List. Specifically the game Asphalt Overdrive. If I go to the store, it says already installed. If I go into the xbox app, I can still play it that way. Also, the title shows arabic characters in the name.

I have reason to believe my employer mave have installed some sort of spyware on my blackberry 8530 curve. The phone was in my possession when the IT manager was talkling to me. After approx. 3 minutes my phone buzzed ( I keep on vibrate).
