Does anyone know how to get them to sync properly so that they show the same time in both places? Oh, this is the iP4, but I had the same issue with the 2g and the 3gs. Apr 18, 2012I created a custom ringtone which shows up in the "Tones" folder in the I-Tunes library as well as the "Tones" folder on the phone when plugged into the computer. However, it does not show up on the phone as a new ring tone. When I tried to sync the "Tones" folder I got the warning about erasing all the songs on the phone, which it did when I synced it but the ringtone still never showed up on the phone.

However, I have not seen a list of required software or applications that should not or cannot be removed and still maintain phone operation. I am sure there are some applications that fall in the category of preferred, and still others that are completely up to the phone operator. Can someone help with such a list? I need to get up to the suggested minimum of 400 MB application free space and currently at 60 MB. I would like to keep as many of my optional applications as possible.

Apr 8, 2013Really frustrated with the Live wallpapers on the HTC one, you can set a folder or certain photos to slide/pan through. However it keeps showing the photos in zoomed position (blurred) and not the full photo.
I've cropped the photos so they are perfect for the screen size, but they still seem to zoom to different corners of the photo. Would like it to show the full photo if possible like Windows 7 desktop sorta thing.

Mar 2, 2015I've tried literally everything. Multiple USBs and computers. Installing connectivity driver. Restart my phone and computers. When plugged in, the phone will only charge. There is no indication on the computer that a device has been connected (I checked Device Manager and it's nowhere to be found, not even under hidden items). When I plug it into my computer, it's the same as plugging it into a wall outlet. I've read tons of solutions online and tried them all. It makes me think that something has gone wrong with my phone. The issue isn't my computer's USB ports or even the USBs I've tried. It sounds like an issue with my phone. When I first purchased the phone, it was able to sync to the computer and I could transfer pictures from it.

Sep 23, 2015Today I had to turn off my phone for an exam. I'm waiting for a call from a potential employer any day now. I felt confident that even with my phone off, when I would turn it back on it would show me any phone number or contact that tried to call me and left a message. But that doesn't seem to be the case.
I was sure I would get a call today. So I tested it out: I turned off my phone and tried calling it. Goes straight to voicemail, left a voicemail. Turn on phone...no notifications of a phone call or voicemail. So, I called my voicemail and said 1 new message, luckily that was the only one and it was my voicemail. But now I don't think I can turn my phone off ever so I don't miss a call.

Jul 29, 2015I have a Google Nexus 5 (over a yr old and out of warranty).
I was/am facing the dreaded boot loop issue and decided to reset my phone. Now, neither has the original problem stopped and im facing a bigger issue.
The phone now tells me that I have insufficient space for any apps. I don't have a single app downloaded on my phone and am also unable to update the software. The software requires 24MB to update & in my storage, it shows that i have over 400MB of available space.
Not only that, my phone's total space is 12.5GB and the break up in storage is such:
available = 468MB, Apps= 298MB,
Photos=24KB,
Audio=204KB,
Downloads = 8KB,
Cached data=698KB.
I have cleared the cache of all the in built apps as well. I am unable to install ANY apps

Jan 17, 2012The one thing I don't get is the picture contacts that I have don't show up when the phone is locked, (the caller ID and specific ring tone if used do), they do show up though if the phone is unlocked, so I'm confused. I know there is the caller ID issue that is resolved by un-ticking contacts in encryption which is what I have done otherwise the contact ID's wouldn't show up when locked. It's not the end of the world, but just a niggle that I would like to resolve.

Oct 9, 2014Purchased a new SD card by Transcend 32G. It could not be found in the phone when inserted. I formatted the card on my PC after these failings, readily recognized there....and did a quick format and a soft reset, as well as a Hard Reset. Still the phone would not recognize the Card. More Reading. Back to the PC did a "slow" Format, turned off the phone and did a hard reset. At the large exclamation point I inserted the SD card and pushed the series of buttons to begin the "turning on of the phone". In my earlier formats and resets I didn't attempt to install the card until after the reset had been completed. My thinking in the last instance was "maybe" the phone would re-format the card.
