HTC One M7 :: Notification Vibrations Keep Repeating Over And Over Until Swipe Them Away
Mar 20, 2015
I just updated my HTC ONE M7 to the new lollipop version (5.0.2) with Sense 6.0 and now all my notifications are endless until i click on them or swipe them away.
For example, if I am sleeping and receive an email or facebook post notification in the middle of the night, it will vibrate and then go silent for 10 seconds, then it will vibrate and go silent for 10 seconds, and on and on. This happens in the daytime too, just super annoying at night when you are trying to sleep.
I have a galaxy s5, set the notification noise for text to repeat every 2 minutes, its not doing it though. When I get a text it just makes the noise once, thats it .Why and how to change this?
Since upgrading to Lollipop, my Turbo shows a notification "Video calling has been added" every time I turn off airplane mode. How do I get rid of this?
This is the same notification that appeared (correctly) when this feature was introduced a while ago, and after you went into Settings to enable this, it wouldn't appear again.
When i swipe down my notification my iPhone 4 reboot it self i already did suggest from this community that i reset all setting notification but 2hours latter it reboot self again!
Unable to swipe down Notification Center on my iPhone 5S. I have to turn my phone off and then start it again for the Notification Center to work. It happens frequently
I've just got a Moto X Style and mostly love it (especially coming from my ancient Galaxy S3 which was slowwwww at opening apps)
One problem I'm having though is the seeming inability to turn on or off vibration when I get notifications. I used to use my phone in one of three ways:
1) Outdoors - Ringers/notifications on full volume, plus vibration 2) Indoors - Ringers/notifications quieter, no vibration 3) Bedtime - Ringers on but quiet, notifications silent, no vibration
I can't seem to get anything close to this. Even when I've gone into individual apps and turned off the vibration setting, it still vibrates! And this motor is almost as loud as the sounds!
Please test ICS ray: Press and hold the ON / OFF Select menu: Mute or Vibration Call from another phone - missed call What remain profile? Normal / Silent / Vibrate?
My iphone 4 died after couple vibration and i though it doesn't have any charge. but it does. Now it doesn't work anymore. is it die??? or there is a solutions?
I keep noticing vibrations, just tiny ones, from my 808 when there's no reason for them. Most of the time the phone is on my desk, locked with no applications running. Decided to post this as it happened again just now, I checked running apps and the only one was Music Player (but no music playing). There was no data connection active but Wifi, NFC and Bluetooth were enabled.
On 1st July, 2012 I bought Nokia 701. Firstly from the day one I experience that the ringtone or any audio from the speaker have vibrations in it. I have to restart the phone to set it right. At times the audio is ok but whenever any call is there, the ringtone audio has vibrations. Secondly, whenever any video is made, the audio (microphone) does not catch the voice as the video generally has. This means the audio system is not good. Rest of the features are superb. The only thing is about the audio. I cant hear the voice when making call on speaker mode. I have used a number of NOKiA phones but for the first time I am facing problem in audio of NOKIA 701.
I'm running 10.0.10586.29 and when I set an alarm I never hear anything, not even vibration works.
I do see that alarm is Enabled and after it should have gone off it is set to Disabled, but nothing gets triggered.
Ofcourse I tried to do the standard troubleshooting like rebooting phone and trying dozens of times with: - volume on/off - different alarm settings - only vibe setting in alarm app - turning everything from alarm app on/off in "Notifications + actions" settings - soft reset
I prefer to use to ring tones and rely on vibrate mode, but the native vibrate is so short and weak that I miss it most of the time. I have tried a doze apps that are suppose to let you customize vibrations and the like. I can get none of them to work. The best I an hope for is that my original vibrate still works (the stock "2 short vibrates"). In many cases installing the app disables the vibrate mode alltogether. I have read some things about turning off the "stock" vibrate, etc. but those instructions are very unclear and I haven't found a way to make it work. I'm frankly shocked at the lack of "built in" customization of notifications. But even if I need to get an app to do it, how in the world can I make that app work. My old benighted Blackberry was better at notifying me.
My iPhone is regularly making a noise and a vibration, like some update and its driving me crazy. Is there a log to see the activity or somethings I can do to reduce the frequency?Â
Running 7.1 on a 4S. Most notifications are off, but its still a couple times an hour...
I've just noticed that the Lumia 1520 (brand new, bought last week) sometimes has the haptic feedback/vibrations turn off by itself when pressing the navigation buttons on the phone. However, they are set to on, in the 'touch' settings (running Lumia cyan now).
When I do a soft reset, the buttons start working for a with vibration, then stop (just to note, they work, just the haptic goes wonky). I tried giving the phone a call - the vibration still works, just doesn't seem to work.
IM very new to the Blackberry systems. I LOVE my phone and am starting to get very good at using it but I'm having a problem with my email, hopefully I could get some much needed help. This is the second time this has happened to me that my email has acted up by reposting every single email I've ever gotten in a matter of minutes. Old emails from months ago come up in the order I first got them. Up to 140 emails per about 3-4 minutes I end up having to mark all prior and delete all after it stops on its own. This really scares me and I dont want anything happening to my phone. Could it be a virus If so what should I do is there any BB virus software out there or if not is there anything I could do?
I have a device that plays my iphone music in the car. One end plugs into the phone, the other plugs into the cigarette lighter. On this device is a tuner where i can select a radio station, i also set my car radio to that station & viola! My music plays through my car speakers. On the way to work, i plug my phone in, open my music & hit play. The first song plays, then repeats. I deselect repeat & am able to enjoy other songs. I get to work, unplug it, do my shift, then get back in my car, plug the phone in, press play... & somehow its on repeat again. Does anyone know how to get rid of the ghost that keeps turning on the repeat button?
Every time I press the A or E key, it repeats it and sometimes puts in a capital one as well. I've just re-installed all the software and it hasn't helped
I downloaded 5.1.1 last night from iTunes on my desktop and synced to my phone. I did notice it took longer than the last software update, and the phone took a while to restart...but I didn't notice anything strange until this morning. I went to play music, and several things are missing: the "repeat" option and song tracking bar are now both gone, only "shuffle" remains. The bigger issue is that the player is now on constant 1-song repeat; even if you select the shuffle option it will only shuffle to the next song, and then resume repeating that one song. If there isn't a fix for this bug, is there a way to revert without losing anything? I haven't added any apps or changed any current ones since last night so as long as I don't lose contacts or any other previously stored info I should be okay.
All non repeating events more than one month old are gone. I have the iPhone 4s, and I don't 'sync' or back up ( at least not on purpose. What's going on? I need to see when I had a specific doctors appointment two months ago.
I had this problem once and went to the store and they found it but I'm having trouble finding the scrubbing and repeat on the phone is seems to have disappeared?
I searched this forum and didn't see anything like this and I was wondering if anyone else is having this issueI set up the C25K as a series of interval workouts (which btw is tremendous pain using the workout planner) and recently the coaching prompts have been coming on to tell me my time etc as they should but as soon as it finishes it is starting again. Sometimes it will do it 3 or 4 times in a row. It is very distracting but I need the coaching on so I know when to change intervals
I've always had this issue of alphabets/numbers repeating when I type with my keypad. This is extremely frustrating, and i even showed it to the service center, they said they wanted 10 days to repair it (without a replacement).
