All non repeating events more than one month old are gone. I have the iPhone 4s, and I don't 'sync' or back up ( at least not on purpose.What's going on? I need to see when I had a specific doctors appointment two months ago.

I have an iPhone 3GS and sync it with Mac mini, OS 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion).Â
If I enter an event repeating weekly in Calendar on the Mac and sync, it appears on the phone. If I then make a change in the wording of the event on the Mac, set it to apply to all future events and sync again, only the modified version appears on the Mac, but both versions appear on the phone. The modified version can be edited (and therefore, if necessary, deleted), but on the phone the out-of-date original version has no Edit button and cannot be removed from the phone.Â
I tried syncing with the Advanced/'Replace information on this iPhone' setting, but this did not remove the unwanted original version.Â
I lost my repeating icon on the music, and the song keeps on repeating. What should I do?

On this device is a tuner where i can select a radio station, i also set my car radio to that station & viola! My music plays through my car speakers. On the way to work, i plug my phone in, open my music & hit play. The first song plays, then repeats. I deselect repeat & am able to enjoy other songs. I get to work, unplug it, do my shift, then get back in my car, plug the phone in, press play... & somehow its on repeat again. Does anyone know how to get rid of the ghost that keeps turning on the repeat button?

I can't read the last 5 pages of every chapter on iBooks. It just keeps repeating the same page until the beginning of the next chapter.

I downloaded 5.1.1 last night from iTunes on my desktop and synced to my phone. I did notice it took longer than the last software update, and the phone took a while to restart...but I didn't notice anything strange until this morning. I went to play music, and several things are missing: the "repeat" option and song tracking bar are now both gone, only "shuffle" remains. The bigger issue is that the player is now on constant 1-song repeat; even if you select the shuffle option it will only shuffle to the next song, and then resume repeating that one song. If there isn't a fix for this bug, is there a way to revert without losing anything? I haven't added any apps or changed any current ones since last night so as long as I don't lose contacts or any other previously stored info I should be okay.

Using the calendar on the iPhone is there any way to set an recurring event to occur on a particular day, say the 2nd Tuesday of every month rather than the same date.
If this isn't possible can someone remind me of the link to put in a request to Apple for an enhancement to the software.
Songs in playlits keep repeating the same song unless I manually advance to the next song. Is this possibly a setting somewhere in iTunes that I'm missing? When I first got the 4s I was not having this but I did an update from a previous install that was on my 3Gs and this started all over again.

I tried the rm -r var/root/Mobile command through terminal, like others have suggested. However, when I plug my phone into my computer, iTunes still keeps repeating the same message. Is there any way to fix this problem without doing a restore? At this point it would be a huge hassle.

I just switched from the default Samsung calendar app to the Google Calendar app. Events from my primary Google calendar, "Personal", appear on the Google Calendar app on my S5, but the calendar itself doesn't appear as an option when creating new events or in the Settings page. As a result, I can see all of my events that I enter via my PC browser (correctly under the label "Personal"), but I cannot add new events from my phone to that specific calendar. My other, less frequently used Gmail calendars (Birthdays, work, a few shared calendars) appear.

I LOVE my phone and am starting to get very good at using it but I'm having a problem with my email, hopefully I could get some much needed help. This is the second time this has happened to me that my email has acted up by reposting every single email I've ever gotten in a matter of minutes. Old emails from months ago come up in the order I first got them. Up to 140 emails per about 3-4 minutes I end up having to mark all prior and delete all after it stops on its own. For example, if I am sleeping and receive an email or facebook post notification in the middle of the night, it will vibrate and then go silent for 10 seconds, then it will vibrate and go silent for 10 seconds, and on and on. This happens in the daytime too, just super annoying at night when you are trying to sleep.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been burning through Tours for the last six months. The first one I had worked fine until it just decided to stop taking all PIN messages of all kinds. I wasn't able to receive BBMs, PINs, and even certain types of E-mails. VZW customer service and RIM customer service weren't able to help me and I was lost. So VZW sent me a refurbished Tour. I wasn't happy with it since I had paid for a brand new one, but a refurbished BlackBerry is better than a broken one any day.
So, anyway, I have been using this refurb for a while until, just the other day, the earpiece didn't want to work. The microphone worked, but I just couldn't hear the other party. If I put it on speakerphone I was able to hear, but no earpiece. BlueTooth worked too, but not the earpiece. I tried everything and finally worked it into being a hardware thing. So I took it to a corporate store where they did an in-store replacement with another refurb.
Now I'm on my third Tour and hopefully this one isn't such a problem. I'm about to upgrade it to the Incredible. I was able to play with that sucker while they tried to figure out the situation with how they would unlock my new phone, and I have to say that I like it. Maybe, in a month when my upgrade is available, I will ditch the Tour and pull an Incredible Storm2. Sounds catchy, no?
