View 1 RepliesI have a problem with charging my phone, no matter if via usb charger or AC-10 charger that came with the device. The problem is, charging indicator does not stop even after several hours of charging. Battery is charged at 98% or so. It happens very often, but not always.

I even tried charging it for 2 days, and still the screen says 0%, and the phone won't turn on no matter what.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhenever I plug my Nexus 5 into a wall charger, it normally charges at an AC rate. However, I've found with external batteries that it charges at a USB rate even if it's plugged into a 2.1A port. I find it odd because my Nexus 4 seems to charge at an AC rate when plugged into these batteries.
View 5 Replies View RelatedPut on charge (turned off) about 1:30am at around 14% and when taken off at about 10:30am or so at 76%. That more or less happened the night before too. All this last week the battery really has been appealing.
I reset cache, not improved.
I uninstalled most out of the few third party apps I had. (Only had 3 pages on my phone, now two)
The only apps I even use are chrome, Skype, and since a few days after this problem started Gsam battery monitor.
My 1020 went from 100 percent charged to zero last night in three hours while in stand my mode. All apps that run in the background are blocked What could have happen?
View 5 Replies View RelatedRecently sometimes my Nexus has been charging extremely slowler than usual. Its so bad now that while in use and plugged into charge, its losing battery. Was 19% when I plugged it in now its 16%.
I tried rebooting to see if it was a bug showing the wrong percentage on the bar but that didn't work.
I bought the device mid December last year, direct from Google. Is this something I should seek a replacement over?
I have a blackberry bold 9900 on Vodafone in the UK. It asked me to run an software update warning it would take 2 hrs or more and I wouldn't be able to make phone calls etc during that time. It has sat at 9% 5 mins into the upgrade, I have now even attached it to my laptop hoping it would speed the process up. It currently has series 7 bundle 1465 and is updating to series 7 bundle 2406 (I have that from desktop). I am doing it right and it'll be ok if I leave it running overnight - it won't let me reset it so I am stuck in a loop.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've left my phone for 2 hours for the software update and it's only done 15% and stays on there, I've done the alt caps key and delete key to restart the phone but now my phone is frozen.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have upgraded my defy yesterday morning and then it hang 3-4 times. So I did factory reset yesterday night. But now also problem remains it hangs some time, the new upgrade has Task Manager, but it keeps showing CPU: 100% alert. I wonder if only my maps and browser is open, why does it show the sign? Now also while I am typing this from mobile, it is giving same alert with only browser running. Isn't it made for multi-tasking? And also (problem not of topic) my market's page doesn't upgrade itself. It keeps running on old format.

Whenever I do a battery pull my battery indication after reinsertion reads 0% and shows the battery as red. My battery indicator before the battery pull will read anywhere from 80% to 50% but after the battery pull the indicator changes to read zero and is shown in red. If I don't charge the phone it will die even though prior to the battery pull the charge was fine at 80% or so...
I'm pulling the battery because of memory shortages. I HAVE replaced the battery and I still get the same problem. Pulling the battery after this happens changes nothing. I've pulled the battery numerous times afterwards and I never get the battery indicator to read what it did before the battery pull. I don't dare pull the battery if I'm not near my charger as the phone will die in a matter of minutes...
My Iphone started shutting off about a week ago when the battery would get to 20 percent, each day it shuts off sooner.

Every time my phone reaches around 10% it instantly drops to 3 or 4% then instantly after that to 1%... So basically I have to charge my phone before it gets to 10%. Not that big of a deal, but it is annoying not being able to do anything with it when it's at low battery and I'm away from a charger.
I'm trying to charge my phone before it gets that low from now on so I won't shorten my battery's lifespan so I can't comment on if the issue persist, but I will say that the calibration has made the battery to act less weird as far as dropping fast in certain areas but not others.
The iphone 3gs keeps shutting down spontaneously at +/- 80% battery.

I just got iphone 3gs from a friend. Changed the battery at a authorized workshop but have a problem. My iphone dies always then it reaches 73%. Claims battery suddenly empty. Running 5.1. Is this a known glitch or something?
View 7 Replies View RelatedFor the past 3 or 4 weeks mine and some of my friends have been noticing problems with iMessage. We will send an imessage and either it will not send, or it will claim that it was delivered when in fact it was not. These messages do eventually get through, but normally seem to come through at 4-5am which is incredibly annoying. I assume this is a problem with the apple servers, as text messages work fine. All other forms of data transfer are absolutely fine too. This is very frustrating as i purposefully got a small number of texts on my phone contract as I assumed i would be able to use imessage for all my messaging needs. I have a iPhone 4, with the latest update (5.1 i think).
View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently my battery gets to 40% and the phone switches off. Once plugged into the charger it re boots- the battery icon is then red and re charges. I've bought a new battery and this does exactly the same thing? I've got a Bold 9700 and not doing anything different than the last year! The battery has to be charged every day, but I do use apps a lot. Its the battery bar status that concerns me... Why does it suddenly go off at 40% with no warning and re charge at 0%?
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 4, since updating to the most recent software, had started crashing when it gets down to 50% and 50% on the dot every time. Now it seems to crash whenever it feels like it but never will it get below 50%. The only way the phone turns back on is when it is connected to a power source once again. I don't even get the dead battery signal when trying to re-boot or anything. Now it would sound like the issue is my battery but I booted up my 3GS with the latest update and same exact thing happens. The battery drains from 100%-90% @ regular speed and from 90%-70% the thing really starts moving quick and from 70%-50% it's just a guess as to when it will die in that region. The issue is such a deal that it's basically rendering my phone useless. If I wanted to leave a phone plugged into my wall I would still have a house phone.

I have a problem with my iPhone 3G It was working so well yesterday, however the past 4 days every time it gets down to 30ish% battery it turns itself off. Last night I put it on charge, looked at it after an hour and it was stuck on a black screen with a red low battery logo, i reset it and it went back to it over and over. I tried to put it into DFU mode and it worked, itunes then recognized it and I tried to restore it on my mac however half way through it said the iphone disconnected, I tried it again same thing. Is this the battery needing to be replaced?

Basically I charge my phone with the mains charger, everything looks fine, the orange light comes on and the battery symbol in the corner shows that it is charging. I leave it charging overnight, so it's usually plugged in for a good 7 hours, however, when I wake up the next morning the phone isn't fully charged, at best I am on 50% and at worst the battery symbol is yellow.
I've been upgraded to ICS quite a while and have not installed any new apps recently so I am a bit stumped as to what the issue is. I thought maybe it was the battery, but I have since bought a new battery and I get the same issue with this also. A factory reset has also not sorted the issue.
I am using unlocked Samsung Galaxy S5 G900F model for 1 year. It working fine. But for 3-4 months I cannot keep my phone on overnight. It drains battery to 30%-40%. I have tried all possible solution like:
kept brightness to minimum
WiFi, mobile data, Bluetooth, GPS kept off
stopped unwanted services like FB, S finder, etc from App manager.
I mean all possible options.
It shows that Phone radio and network are draining my batter (as shown in attached images) Also how can screen brightness drain battery when kept idle screen locked mode overnight? (as shown in attached images). I have attached screenshots when I found 69% battery remaining in the morning (kept at 100% at night)
Note 1: During day battery performs normally even with WiFi and data
Note 2: Even when kept in ultra power saving mode overnight it drains around 20% battery
My neo lost charge in very short time and when I plug in the cable of the charger it shows 85% and doesn't change. After several hours it turns on automatically and battery capacity is 85%.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo had my N900 for a little over a week now and overall I'm pretty impressed. Great phone, but still very much a work in progress. One of the main issues I have at the moment, other than no turn-by-turn navigation (sorry, had to mention it), is the battery life - or lack of!
On an average weekday I use the phone to send a few texts (no more than 10), scan the news sites (no more then 20-30mins total) and catch up on my RSS feeds (again, no more than 20-30 mins total). I'm not using the media player at all and I may make one or two short calls.
Bottom line is that I'm struggling to get more than 6 hours battery life out of it. I know smart phones are thirsty, but I don't even get to listen to music on my way to or from work! Here's what I've already done to reduce battery consumption:
Removed active widgets (such as ForcaWeather) from desktops and replaced with web shortcuts.Reduced screen brightness to 2 barsDisabled GPS & Network positioningDisabled IMDisabled BluetoothI've heard some mention reducing the amount of active desktops, but I think that kinda defeats the object of having a N900. May as well buy a lesser phone if you need to strip out all the functionality to get though the day. I'd be satisfied with 8-10 hours medium use. At the moment I'm getting around 6 hours at light use - got to be something I'm missing.
I purchased brand new Xperia Active before a week and it started showing battery related problem since then. When my phone shows battery level of 15%, it suddenly drops down to 1%, followed by phone shutting down. I have not rooted my phone. It is running on Gingerbread 2.3.4 and build 4.0.2.A.0.62. Managing on 1200 mA is anyway becoming tough task for me and above that this issue is really irritating now.
