Since the update, the talk to text feature for text messages is gone. Does anyone know how to get it back, or an app that does the same thing?

i have an EVO and the talk to text function will not work with any app or with text messages while connected to 3G with strong connection.
-I have the WiFi turned off while i am connected to the 3G network
-the talk to text function works fine while connected to WiFi
error message 1: " There is a problem with the network connection "
error message 2: " connection problem " (when using an app)
My current text messages are being combined with old text messages, creating messages that don't reflect what I sent. The recipients of my texts are very confused....as am I when I get there response.

We were told we could register our 10 fab ten online. I have been attempting to set up these two phones. I cannot find WHERE I can input the 10 numbers we were told we could. I can send text messages but can't receive any text messages (sms). Ideed, i have a message like that : "message memory full" i delete a lot of messages, i don't have any video or pictures, my memory is not full, so i don't understand why it's like that. I have this probleme for 4 days ant it becomes very annoying. delete any message cause i delete three-quarters of messages..

So I went through and got rid of a heap of stuff - songs, videos the kinda things that are big files, and still no change.
My phone memory has 368kb free and my memory card has 3734 mb of free memory.Was working perfectly fine yesterday with more data and my phone stores about 1000 messages pretty easily, several videos, songs etc..
My S5 receives new text notifications, shows sender, but when I open default text app the messages don't appear at all. I have no other text apps.

I backed up my text messages to my SIM card in an attempt to make a text file from some text messages.

One day it was working, and then i noticed every word i type is underlined like it may be misspelled. I tried removing the battery but it didnt help. What do i do. The auto correct doesnt work. Im should b corrected to I'm but it isnt as you can see by this message.

I can seem to find a way to recover old text messages via the iMessage platform. Is there any way to recover some of those old conversations? Some have sentimental value to them.

I just got my Razr Maxx and have a question about the voice to text. When I talk, it cuts off on me after only a short pause. My friend has this phone and it doesn't cut off on her that fast. Is there a way to set the length on how long it stays on before it cuts off?
View 3 Replies View RelatedBasically, last night I had a blinking update sign on my N900. I clicked to update as I normally do. The update was 100% successful (Before this, my last update was on 20th April 2010).
As the phone re-booted itself I checked my messages and found that all my new messages have vanished from my Conversations & recently added contacts between 20th April - 28th May (last night)!!! ;0(
I contacted Nokia and they said there is a way to retrieve these but when I took it to a Nokia Centre (in Carphone Warehouse) they said they will need to reboot the whole thing and everything will be deleted!
My Backup reads as follows:

When I receive a text message I try to reply to the message and the text message window closes. I have synced the phone and it still will not let me send a text.

After using Backup and Restore before updating the software, I've found that I can't retrieve a lot of my text messages. Everything else has restored fine, and I've tried restoring with just the text messages box checked. This takes hours and hours and usually comes up with an error partway through, or it just doesn't complete. I have a lot of texts that I'd rather not lose.

My phone will no longer make or receive calls and I can't text after upgrading to iOS 8.1.1. I've tried everything except chucking the phone out the window. I have reset it multiple times, turned it off and back on, reset the network settings, reset all settings, toggled the airplane mode switch, and done a complete factory restoration. What else is there to do? I can't get a new phone for another year.

I've been using the speech to text feature on my phone ever since I first got it 6 months ago.
However, today I opened my messaging app (stock) and I was looking for the little microphone key beside the space bar, and it's missing.
I use Google keyboard and I haven't changed any settings. The speech to text feature is literally non existent now.
I've reinstalled Google keyboard, played around with all the settings, but I just can't figure out why its gone.
I'm currently using 2.1 version, even though I've installed voice data under Text to Speech settings, but dont know how to use it? By enabling the feature I came to know that we can voice a message, make a call and do many things with this feature, but unfortunately I dont know how to proceed.
