View 1 Replies View RelatedOkay, so I'm on the move a lot, travelling to and from University each day which can take anywhere between 1-2 hours getting there and getting back. I'm always on my phone during travelling as there isb't much else to do and I like to keep in touch with friends. I use Facebook and the internet a lot on their and I understand this is why my battery runs down so quick. Using it for I'd say 3 or so hours and the battery is done, I usually take my usb cable to uni so I can charge it ready for the journey home. Is there anyway I can get the same usage out of it and not drain the battery so much? I am thinking of getting a new battery first off as I'd say the current one would not be able to achieve good life againt, but is there long lasting batteries I can get?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy battery life does not last more that 5 hours regardless of how I use it. It also reboots from time to time. I have this phone for not more than 4 weeks.

View 5 Replies View RelatedFor last 2 days now my iPhone hasn't been holding its charge, even in standby mode.
I took screen shots of it earlier and at 5:54am whilst in work the battery was at 82% then it stayed in standby in my pocket until the next screenshot I took and the percentage was falling fast, by 9:28 the percent was at 1.
Does anyone here know if there is anything I can do? I have restored the iPhone and also let the battery charge up to 100% from no charge in it and to no avail!
The phone is only a month and a half old and nothing has changed since the last 2 days so hard to understand why it has started doing this, brightness has always been at 100% so that's not affecting it.

Since I updated my C6-01 to Belle last week, I have a feelling that my battery is lasting longer then before. I have no ways of making an exact mesure, but I almost sure that Belle is more energy efficient then the previous version of the system (Anna, Symbian^3).
What do you think about that? Are you charging your phone (not only C6-01) less frequently since you updated it to Belle?
I have a Nokia C6-00 and the battery is not lasting more than one day operating with connection in dual mode. Is it normal? What can I do the extend the life of battery?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had my zoom for 3 or 4 months, maybe longer, and I notice that my battery life is slowly decreasing in time available before having to re-charge. I bought my xoom as reburbished, but understood it had the same warranty as if new bu Motorola. Initially I could go 2-3 days without charging, just by letting the unit go to sleep. Now it only lasts for a day or day in a half.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo had my N900 for a little over a week now and overall I'm pretty impressed. Great phone, but still very much a work in progress. One of the main issues I have at the moment, other than no turn-by-turn navigation (sorry, had to mention it), is the battery life - or lack of!
On an average weekday I use the phone to send a few texts (no more than 10), scan the news sites (no more then 20-30mins total) and catch up on my RSS feeds (again, no more than 20-30 mins total). I'm not using the media player at all and I may make one or two short calls.
Bottom line is that I'm struggling to get more than 6 hours battery life out of it. I know smart phones are thirsty, but I don't even get to listen to music on my way to or from work! Here's what I've already done to reduce battery consumption:
Removed active widgets (such as ForcaWeather) from desktops and replaced with web shortcuts.Reduced screen brightness to 2 barsDisabled GPS & Network positioningDisabled IMDisabled BluetoothI've heard some mention reducing the amount of active desktops, but I think that kinda defeats the object of having a N900. May as well buy a lesser phone if you need to strip out all the functionality to get though the day. I'd be satisfied with 8-10 hours medium use. At the moment I'm getting around 6 hours at light use - got to be something I'm missing.
that doesn't seem too normal to me...
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have been using my iPhone 4S for a few months and was working perfectly until two days ago I have been noticing battery charge issues. I use my iPhone for calls and emails - I am not a huge user and don't have too many apps on it. THis is the second day in a row when I have been charging my battery twice at night and in the morning when I wake up. I expect the battery will run out today as well before 6 p.m.

I reset my iPhone as suggested but with no success. The battery is still running out within a 6-7 hour range. Do you suggest I reset the phone again?

Since a couple of months I have a Nokia E75.The battery performance was never very good, but the last 2 months it has fallen to less than half a day. I already bought a new battery but that doesn't seems to be the problem.I have Handy Taskman to see which apps are running and I leave only email running with syncing to exchange every hour.Any ideas?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a jailbroken iPhone4, when i go to bed.. ill charge it, i turn my laptop off when i go to sleep unplug my iPhone which is now at 100%.. i wake up and my iPhone is on 75% or less.. wtf? I don't have winterboard installed.I have activator, bitesms, cyntact, emoji, five icon dock, iconclasm, fiveicondock, ifile, infinifolders, libdisplaystack, lib weather, make it mine, music controls, remove recents, retinawallpapers hd, sbsettings, snaptap, wifisync and 3g unrestrictor.
I am on 4.0.1, i tried to restore it using 4.0.1 firmware i downloaded and it says iPhone unable to restore due to firmware being for inappropriate build or something along those lines.I went for a day out the other week, got 5hrs 30 mins useage with music playback and some internet browsing on 3g, few txts and calls, that can't be right can it?
My bold 9700 battery runs out in 12 hours or so. The signal in the area (Orange Switzerland) is weak and there is no difference if the phone is on 2G or on 2G & 3G mode. Used phone in roaming without data and battery was good for week or even more with not many phone calls. Is this normal and any advice on how to preserve the battery? I also have problems with Facebook installation. When I try to sign in, I am getting a message that data conenction is not available and that i should try later. I tried many many times and while everything else works well, Facebook does not. Downloaded it twice directly from Balckberry and reinstalled it but without luck.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI received a new Blacberry bold 9790 but the battery lasts only about 2 hours. Also the phone gets very hot after about 20 minutes. I returned the phone stating the problem. I received a new phone only to experience the same problem. I again returned the phone and are now awaiting feedback.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSince I upgraded to 6.0 Bundle 3084 a few days ago, my battery runs down in less than 2 hours, whether I use the device or not.
View 3 Replies View Relatedmy phone dies so fast. I was told by rogers to reload my cell through blackberry. So i tried. and when I click on update there is nothing in the left corner. They told me to hit the View other versions and the nothing is there. I did order another battery just incase but it sucks that half way through school I have no cell.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy battery is draining in 8 hours where it used to last longer. I've replaced it twice and I have reason to believe it is the device itself. I have shud down most of the unnessesary functions (ie Wifi, Bluetooth, etc) but the battery still only lasts about 8 hours when doing nothing. What can i do?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI've had a BB Curve 9360 (I think!) for just over a year and in the last few months it has started to get really hot and run the battery down really quick. I charge it up over night every night and before lunch time it has drained completely without even using it except to maybe send the odd txt msg or check the time. I have checked that every application is closed down, turned off my WIFI and sometimes even my phone service but it seems to have no effect. It doesn't always do this it used to be once every couple of weeks and now it's more like every other day.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I have had my blackberry for a bit over a year now. And it was all working fine until a couple of days ago.Now the battery only seems to last for about 2.5hours, from being 100% to shutting off because of low battery. I havent got applications running in the background, and have read and followed all of the maximise battery life posts.I used to be able to leave it for a day or more with it being fine.
What can I do to solve this, as it is really inconveniencing my life at the moment, because it just isnt staying on long enough for me to do anything.and its a blackberry curve 8250 and the battery says 'capacity 1150mAh' and C-S2.
I bought BB curve 9360 on 16th December 2011 from the carrier Windmobile but since January 2012 battery charge does not last more than 2 to 3 hours after fully charging the battery. And after this charge I can only talk 20 to 30 minutes.
View 2 Replies View Related1) i charged the battery of my phone over night (meaning in the morning it was fully charged). by 3pm it was already totally empty. i re-charged it till dinner. now at 11:30pm it is again fully empty and i noticed also that the phone and battery are totally hot!
what do i do? this doesn't seem normal. i recently downloaded 2 games onto the phone but i don't think this has necessary somethign to do with it.
2) i have a problem with the trackpad. it moves around the menu normally and sometimes within inside options, but as example inside an sms to move up and down sentences or messages, it doesn't move at all. it doesn't move at all. i try to see if i changed a setting or something but didn't seem to find anything.
I have downloaded the new OS and since then my battery runs down within 4-5 hours.
View 5 Replies View RelatedOne of my colleague and I have some problem with the battery life since 4 or 5 days. After 6 or 7 hours without call or extra activity, the battery is empty. We don't know why. We have something like 8 Bold 9700 in the company and only two have this behaviour since 4 or 5 days. I have updated the system with the latest version, but no changes.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWondering if anyone has had similar problem. My battery for x10 has now started to last only 4hours - even during the night when its not in use.I already have brightness down as low as possible and have followed all the other guidelines to utilise battery life. The strange thing is that I have not changed anything on the phone recently and the battery just started dying!!!!! Extremely frustrated as I also seem to be receiving texts a lot later than they were sent even though I have full network coverage. I have had the phone since October 2010.

View 3 Replies View RelatedThis has happened a couple times from ~30% or so but last night was the worst: I went to sleep with my HTC One (M8)'s battery saying 55%, and woke up 6 hours later and it had died. I almost missed my alarm! How I can prevent this happening?
I have Power Saver enabled to kick in at 15% battery, and Extreme Power Saving at 5%, but neither clearly made a difference. I've attached a screenshot from HTC's battery life monitoring:
In a little over three hours, the battery drained completely! The screen was off but the phone was, apparently, "awake" - and why?
