Since I updated my C6-01 to Belle last week, I have a feelling that my battery is lasting longer then before. I have no ways of making an exact mesure, but I almost sure that Belle is more energy efficient then the previous version of the system (Anna, Symbian^3).
What do you think about that? Are you charging your phone (not only C6-01) less frequently since you updated it to Belle?
I have a Nokia C6-00 and the battery is not lasting more than one day operating with connection in dual mode. Is it normal? What can I do the extend the life of battery?
View 1 Replies View RelatedOkay, so I'm on the move a lot, travelling to and from University each day which can take anywhere between 1-2 hours getting there and getting back. I'm always on my phone during travelling as there isb't much else to do and I like to keep in touch with friends. I use Facebook and the internet a lot on their and I understand this is why my battery runs down so quick. Using it for I'd say 3 or so hours and the battery is done, I usually take my usb cable to uni so I can charge it ready for the journey home. Is there anyway I can get the same usage out of it and not drain the battery so much? I am thinking of getting a new battery first off as I'd say the current one would not be able to achieve good life againt, but is there long lasting batteries I can get?

After an upgrade with Belle, it is impossible to get WiFi to work : Although the roaming finds my WLAN, and after introducing the exact WEP key, I allways get a WiFi not found error. I allready tried all the tricks mentionned in different posts over here, without succes.
View 9 Replies View RelatedUntil I updated my C6-01 to Belle, I was satisfied with the quality of the photos, given the known restrictions of the fixed focus lenses.
After Belle update, I have this impression that almost every photo I take is out of focus. I allways use the virtual button on the camera app to shoot photos, and not the physical button on the right side of the phone. I have not dropped my phone on the ground or something. I allways take good care of the phone.
What do you C6-01 owners think of that?

View 19 Replies View Relatedi updated my phone to symbian belle, since then my wifi is not working, it dosent get connented, i tried everything hard reset, reinstalled firmware,..etc but nothing worked, evrytime i had to restart my phone to get it working, after restart wifi works for sometime initially but later problem bounces back again..it always show "connection unavailable connection failed" where as rest of my devices are working totally fine with wifi....is nokia going to do something about it

I am using C6-00 from around 16 months and the software is really slow and it hangs multiple times in a day. Before purchasing this phone i suggest all friends to purchase nokia phones, at that time i was using nokia's low end phones but when i purchased this phone, it never gives me satisfation that i am using a smartphone. View 6 Replies View RelatedI updated my C7-00 to the latest Symbian^3 Belle version yesterday. I haven't had much time to try it out but the first impression was that my phone was improved.
Now, I realized that my Original Nokia WH-205 Stereo Headset suddenly has stopped working i.e. they are not recognized by my C7-00 after the update. Why is this? I had no concerns before with the original Symbian^3 firmware or the Anna update either. Still, I can hear music with the standard headset that was included with my phone (Nokia Stereo Headset WH-102) and also with regular 3,5 mm earphones from a different manufacturer (Creative). I don't understand why the WH-205 don't work when the others seem to do and be recognized by the phone?
I'm 100% positive they are not broken as they worked perfectly fine just a couple of days ago when I could even make phone calls.
Should I roll back to Symbian Anna or is there some way of fixing this via a patch or manually?
I recently updated my c6-01 to Nokia Belle. I've figured out many of the new features, but I would like to have a user manual I or someone unfamiliar with the phone could refer to. Is there one available or one in the works?

I connect my phone to the pc, and the recognizes it, so i go to the update section in nokia suite 3.3.86, it then says my phones current software is 022.014, i click refresh, and it says my phone is up to date, but i know it isnt! View 1 Replies View Relatedi had a C7, working great till i updated it with symbian belle.okay here is what i did.-my GPS was working on symbian anna with maps version 3.06beta-i updated the phone to symbian belle from symbian anna.-installed nokia maps 3.06 beta, and replaced the one that came with the update because it had the option of route planning which the installed map did not.-this was the first time i checked to see if the GPS was working after the update, and it did not work even after i stood in an open field for half an hour.-i learned that the latest update of nokia maps in fact had route planning, so i used the nokia PC suite to reset the phone software, and then later updated everything that was listed in the software update app.-my GPS could still not work after i stood in the same damn field for another half an hour.-now it will just give approximate positions based on the wireless networks, and not give any accurate position, so i cant use it for navigation anymore.-i tried running the gpsinfoqt app, and it keeps saying searching for a signal, but it never finds one!

View 5 Replies View RelatedI was using Mail For Exchange on my C6-01 with Anna to access my Gmail email and Google Calendar. It worked really well and was a great way to keep everything in sync. After updating to Belle that option seems to be gone so I no longer have a way to sync Google Calendar (setting up a Gmail account is not a problem, but without Mail for Exchange I can't figure out how to sync my Google Calendar.

i recently got the HTC sensation XL and yea found out the battery was dieing really quickly the phones was at around 30 % at the end of the day...i only have 1 app called morelocale and thats it....i dont have 3g or wifi enabled and i even changed the battery settings to economy think thats whats its called but yea i dont do anything but call people or take phone calls and thats rarely since im at work i have it on standby and yea not lasting even a day.. so was wondering if this issue is with everyone or is it just me..
