Got my new Desire S last 2 days ago....very good one but after going into LOCATION application, saw an update...click to update (MALAYSIA MAP), after suddenly I found that my mobile cannot seem to load the MAP...it kept shown MAP needed to download, & had download many times, yet it does not show on LOCATION application.
re-install or reset to original?
my HTC desire phone restarts unexpectedly and sometime restarts phone about 10 times and stuck with blank screen.i did hard reset but still problem is same. have any one face this issue and how can i fix this issue.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have only just got my first HTC phone. I think its quite good so far, however I am have trouble trying to sync with my PC. I have downloaded and installed the latest sync software from the HTC website, then plugged in the phone and selected the HTC sync option. The PC recognises that the phone is plugged in and starts the software start up screen and displays the message 'updating htc library' in the bottom right hand corner. This is as far as I can get and the software eventually times out and closes!!! I have tried on another PC and the same error occurrs!

It's an app for texting that I like better then the default messages app. When I get a text, I get a notification on both the messages and handcent. The last time I synced with Outlook, a lot of the same contacts came up multiple times -- around 50+ times each. Seems the only way to delete them is individually. I would like to know the following: 1) is there a way to do multiple deletes and 2) what made this happen.

I can't see them in Gallery any more. Luckily due to the backup software Astro, i have got my Pictures back but I can't locate my videos anywhere. To remind you, I just transferred them, not deleted them from mobile.

a while ago I bought a Nokia 3250 phone and in the manual it says that it supports SPP next to a list of other services. When I try to enable it in the Bluetooth options, though, it only displays DUN.A friend of mine was suggesting that Windows is the problem and I should switch to Linux as I really need to get this going because this project is part of my graduation.
