After the gingerbread update, when I type a message I receive this underlined red dots on every word, as a misspelled word. I have disabled all the text prediction and completion, but still i receive those dots..The thing is, that i am using the English keyboard and writing in oher language.. When i had Froyo, I didnt had this issue.. now i regret that i have updated my phone..
Whenever I receive an sms, the messaging app shows a phone number instead of a contact name. It also does not show the contact photo. From time to time the contact name would show (reason undetermined), but still without the photo. I am using a stock messaging app and the phone is not modded in any way. All contacts are Google contacts duplicated and linked to Phone contacs (although I tried erasing Phone contacts and using only Google contacts - to no avail.) Each contact has got a +48 country prefix. The "People" list is showing photos without a problem. I previously had a classic Desire and the messaging app worked fine.
Since lollipop update my Note 3 underlines spelling errors in red. I hate auto correction but love the red underlining feature. You need to install google keyboard for it to work however you don't need to use google keyboard. Just have it installed. This feature never worked on note 3 until 5.0 update. I'm at an ATT store at the mall and I installed google keyboard in the s6edge but I cannot seem to get the red underlining to work? A screenshot would be great confirmation. I really need this feature. It draws my attention to possibly misspellings without changing them. I use a lot of jargon that gets "autocorrected" into jibberish if I use normal autocorrection.
I have HTC Desire. I had some videos and pictures in my mobile. I never deleted them from my mobile, I just transferred them to my PC and with transfer they disappear. I can't see them in Gallery any more. Luckily due to the backup software Astro, i have got my Pictures back but I can't locate my videos anywhere. To remind you, I just transferred them, not deleted them from mobile.
The HTC desire and HT Sync work well with Contacts, Photos and Calendar. But with documents, the synchronisation appears to be from the PC to the Desire and not the other way round. Thus it appears to copy rather than synchronise.
On my PC and Galaxy Tab 10.1, when connected to my home router, I get about 1.5 mbps for my download speed. On the HTC I get less than 500 kbps. Anyone any ideas on how I can improve the download speed on the Desire, or is this the speed which it is supposed to operate at?
but I uninstalled the app and that fixed the fading issue (which only occurred in the messaging app). However, in biteSMS, 3 dots appear next to the texts that I send using biteSMS and its rather annoying. It only appears next to texts that I send using biteSMS, not Messaging
When I'm browsing websites, watching movies, or really anytime the phone is on there are 2 very bright white dots along the right edge of display and the dots are indeed under the glass.
On some (but not all) apps it just seems to be there towards the bottom of the screen. If you press it you can drag it to other areas of the screen. It seems like it's a floating menu button. Is there some setting that turns this on and off?
i got my iPhone 5s in May and now there are two black dots on my screen the screen isn't cracked and the screen still works fine. One black dot is on the the lower right side And is about the size of a quarter and the other is on the upper left side and is about the side of a dime will apple replace my phone?
I have an unusual issue I would like some assistance on since I just got a blackberry, I have the Curve 2 8530. I use Total Call Blocking with my carrier so that when I call anyone my number is automatically blocked / restricted. Therefore, in my contact list, I have my friends or family contacts listed with the *82 in front of the number to unblock for those people. This works fine for phone calls.
However, on Text Messaging / Picture Messaging, the *82 will cause these messages to fail. I am used to LG phones, you have the ability to edit the number while creating a message, before your send one of these messages. The problem I am having is when I send a Text Message / Picture Message it appears from the blackberry as only the 10 digit number (even though the contact has *82 in front of it)...and the message shows it is sent (with the check mark) but it NEVER received.
i got my n900 the day before i went on a 6 week holiday and initially everything seemed fine, i quite liked using it whilst away. Then after a couple of days i noticed it was rebooting unexpectedly. after a couple of weeks of these silly reboots it just stoped rebooting and it just gets stuck with the white dots. i've read lots of threads that say do this and that but none of the replies seem to be speciic to my issue. I've charged the battery for a couple of hours and tried the boot up with U key depressed but nothing seems to allow it to boot. i am a total linux noob and thought this device might be a useful as an introduction to the OS but i am very dispoainted so far. If i flash the device will i loose all the data that is currently stored on the device, all my recent holiday snaps and videos? i just want to get a working device and not loose all the good memories currently stored on it.
I have not submitted my blackberry to any damage, however when I checked it this morning there appears to be a cluster of small black dots/squiggles on the screen which now wont disappear.
I have the sony xperia z2 mobile. if I was at full sunlight on me screen look especially when the screen is black as standby or I see horizontal dots on me screen only at a certain angle. walk across the screen. looks like this below.
I am having the same issue with no audio on the incoming side. Occasionally on the sending side also. Also data will occasionally go out. The solution for both of these for me is to cycle the airplane mode toggle to turn the radio off/on.
Also I am having an issue where I get "staticky" moving dots on the display. Pressing the power button off/on to cycle the display fixes it.
So I've had this problem for quite a while. There is 2 black dots in the lens, pictures and videos I took. I've got no idea how to get rid of them. Can someone please tell me how to open the it properly so I can clean the lens? Heres how it looks like.
I've aquired a N900 with the never ending flashing dots boot problem. I've tried reflashing it a couple of times from my windows 7 laptop but no luck. I did get it to boot into the OS once, but turned it off to insert the SIM and had the same problem again. Is there anything I can try to get this thing working properly again?
I used to be able to see the actual events on each day of the month but now I only see a green dot indicating there is an event. You have to click on that day to see what the event is. It was much better before when you could see at a glance your schedule for the whole month and not have to look at one day at a time. This change happened yesterday after having the phone for one week. My phone syncs with my google calendar on my computer.
My gf 701 was freezing terribly, first she told me that the hardware keys & unlock slider not functioning just the touchscreen and the power button, this happens to my n8 sometimes, i usually restart it and its back on track, i did 2 backups (one full backup & other without phone settings and apps but everything else) with Nokia Suite ,i did soft reset ,when restarted ,same thing, hardware keys & unlock slider not functioning ,then tried hard reset, after hard reset, it acts like it's now booting up showing the dots, but soon after just shows black screen, when connected to Nokia Suite it doesn't recognise the phone, is there any way i can fix this by loading back firmware? if so what program should i use?
I dropeed my iPhone and the screen is shattered, but the more annoying part is this brown cluster of something on the side of my screen. It was originally much smaller but throughout the day the brown part moved and is larger. If I get my screen replaced will this go away? Is there any way I can get this fixed without just replacing my phone?
Here is the picture where the problem is most obvious: [URL] ....
As you can see, there are 5 green dots in the picture. I understand that when taking direct pictures of a sundown etc., that there might be some lens flare in the picture, but these dots are caused by the lights of a CHRISTMAS TREE! (How many people are going be taking pictures of their Christmas tree in the coming few weeks..?) Also, no matter how I positioned my camera, the dots still continued to show in other pictures as well, forcing me to delete them. Â
What are my options here? Buy Photoshop and edit the dots out and accept that a 899€ phone has a bunch of camera issues, or is it possible that apple could at some point fix these lens flare issues in an update?
