Dec 15, 2013Whenever i turn off my phone and turn it back on my nexus 5 wallpaper changes. It is never the same wallpaper after i turn it back on idk why.

Nov 28, 2014Got a used, but mint N5 the other day, stock unrooted running 4.4.4. Popped in my AT&T LG G2 SIM, and all was good for a day. Today, i've noticed that the icon on the top of the phone keeps changing from LTE, to H, and sometimes to NO SERVICE, although the last one changes back after a few seconds. Is this normal, or should i get the SIM card replaced? I live in a 4G LTE area, and never had this problem with the LG G2. Maybe it's a setting issue within the phone? i truly love this phone. The only app that i've put on this phone is Light Flow, just to change the color and speed of the notifications.

May 19, 2015My wallpaper changes over night and I don't know why. I don't have it set to live, I don't have an app that changes it and I haven't done the lollipop reset that ive read most people with this problem have done. I keep pushing it off a day until I start hearing good things. So far the update seems to turn your phone into garbage. I've already had to reset my phone once bc it crapped out on me and it's barely a year old so I am not updating.

May 29, 2012Yesterday when I replace my live wallpaper with a static preinstalled wallpaper that definitely came from sony. My phone hangs then the wallpaper shows only black. Then my touchscreen didn't work. So I decided to soft reset my phone, but no use. I can't even unlock my phone because my touchscreen was unresponsive. I tried to hard reset it but I also can't even hard reset it. The notification bar is working properly but I can't pull it down to update my version because I saw in sony website that I have to update it.. But how if I can't connect my phone to computer because I can't tap the connect to phone in the notification bar.

Huawei Nexus 6P :: DPI Changing Apps Not Working After Update
Jan 15, 2016I am on stock rom, using SuperSU 2.66. I have tried using texdroider_dpi and one other app but they cannot change my dpi. It says it sets but then I reboot and I'm stuck on 560 dpi. I changed dpi in adb but some elements don't work such as my Swiftkey, the little blue diamonds for top devs in play store.
I assume this is a SuperSU issue but these DPI apps have worked since I first rooted this phone back in November. Only the current update has broken this.

Apr 3, 2014For months I was happily using my Nexus 5 with a SoundID 300 earpiece. Pushing the call button went into a dialer dialog with voice prompts and responses. Suddenly a few weeks ago it started going to the Google Now (aka Google Search?) function (the one you get when you say "OK Google"). Although it will generally recognize the same voice commands as the dialer dialog, there are no voice prompts or responses, so if Google Now has crashed or decides to prompt on screen for "OK or Cancel", I have to get the phone out and look at it to see why it didn't dial.

Feb 27, 2015Yesterday I did an update to several programs including Google and noticed major battery drain. I was not sure which program did it but checked Battery in Settings and saw it was the screen causing the drain. Apparently when the Google program updated, it changed the setting for automatic brightness adjustment to ON. I turned it off and the battery is fine. I keep brightness set to about one quarter to one third brightness. I think the battery life is great and I can easily get thru the day.

Aug 22, 2015I'm sure many of you have heard that when you enter an incorrect pattern/PIN/password, eventually the phone asks for Google account credentials to unlock it. My Nexus 5 on 5.1.0 does not do this. Does yours? If my lock screen is set to PIN, I can enter as many incorrect attempts as I want, it never asks and never stops me. If I have a pattern set it will let me enter 10 incorrect attempts after which it simply stops me from trying for 30s, but it never asks for Google account credentials.

I receive this error when I try to add a card in Android Pay: "Android Pay cannot be used: Google is unable to verify that your device of the software running on it is Android compatible". I tried disabling root entirely and using RootCloak (Xposed) to hide root from Android Pay and Google Wallet, but I still can't use Pay. Wallet still works as it always has.

Jul 20, 2014So this morning I woke up to my phone on a boot loop on the Google Logo. I have no custom roms or mods on it other than I am running ART. I suspect it could be battery related as it will only seem to do this on the charger but when I don't have it plugged in it won't even start up. When it's plugged in it won't even seem to want to stay "off", it boots up to the google logo on its own. If I hold down the volume rocker I can get into the bootloader but it resets before I can select anything and boots right back into the google logo.

Google Nexus 5 :: Stuck At Google Logo After Deleting Some Apps
Nov 4, 2015today I installed the new android 6.0 factory image, rooted it (used the modified boot.img from the previous build) and installed supersu 2.52 and blu spark kernel. Everything good until i deleted some apps (gmail, webview, youtube and other NON CRITICAL apps, like I ALWAY DO SINCE KITKAT), then rebooted and my phone is stuck at the Google logo, not even the bootanimation shows up.. Tried to reflash the boot.img, wipe cache, wipe data, factory reset but nothing.. The only thing that worked is to reflash the factory image! What am I doing wrong? Happened 2 times in a row so something must be wrong.. Another thing, I can't access TWRP every time, sometimes it skips and boots directly..
