I am currently on Pure White rom latest version and I am unable to make or receive phone calls I tried other roms like cyanogen, xenon, chroma, and etc different radios (47I, 48B, etc) still nothing...
I went to tmobile store, switched the sim.. nothing... called customer service they said it's the phone... Data works, text message works...
This just randomly started happening. When making calls, I hear ringing and right when the other person picks up, the phone automatically ends the call as if I hit the end call button. Same thing happens with incoming calls. I have full bars when this happens. So far, I've tried re-inserting the SIM card and doing a cache partition wipe to no avail. What could be going on?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone with sprint, and it has worked more than amazingly prior to this. It wasn't until last night around 12am that this started. I have had the phone for 4 to 5 months now. The bars in the top left are flat and occasionally one will pop up. I can t make calls and texts are slow to or just don't send at all. I was messing around on my download app in the browser and it closed and then thu problem arises. I have deleted the app even turned on and off my phone several times and turned airplane mode on and off several times. Please help:/ this is not an issue with location, and everytime I make calls it just says "calling mobile..."

I have an LG G3 and I was having some issues with the audio jack on it. I contacted LG and they said that since it is still under warranty I can mail it out to them, but my phone will be away for at least a week. I get called frequently from my work and thought if I set up Google Voice on it perhaps I would be able to at least receive messages on our Samsung Tab S 10.5. I went to Google Voice and set it up using my existing number with the Google Voice on Sprint.
It went through no problem, I was able to verify the phone and everything. Thing is, my fiance and I share the same tablet and when I looked at the call forwarding email, I realized it was to my fiance's email and not to me. I had accidentally signed up for Google Voice for my phone under his email account. So I went to disable Google Voice on Sprint after waiting 15 minutes or so for all the services to fully implement and tried to set it up under my email. I got to the verifying the phone number part, hit call me now, and nothing would go through. I tried several times and still nothing. I tried making a call from my phone and it says "we could not complete your call, please try again".
I called Sprint and explained everything to them. We went through several steps of resetting and reactivating the phone and still nothing. Whenever somebody tries to call me they get the same message "we could not complete your call, please try again." It shows that I'm connected to the network service no problem on Sprint's end and that something with Google Voice is locking me out. What am I supposed to do? I've gone through both my fiance's and my account and removed all traces of my phone number, hoping that I would be able to reset it but still nothing.
Both accounts for Google Voice say that we need to get a Google number and that there is no number associated with either accounts. I really don't know what to do as my phone is doing the lights on nobody home sort of thing. I can still use the internet with wifi no problem and can even use the mobile data to do searches on the Internet, I just can't make or receive calls or messages.
As of this morning, every time I go to use the dialer it crashes. I can go through people and make calls, but can't go directly through the dialer. I tried resetting my phone. Really don't want to do a hard reset, but if I have to I will.

View 10 Replies View RelatedOkay so my Sprint Nexus 6 is not receiving calls while it's connecting to Wi-Fi and on LTE the only way I can get the phone to receive calls consistently is keep it on 3G this issue is been reported all over the internet I've had the phone for 10 months and just really noticed it was doing this. It appears to be an issue with Wi-Fi and LTE on at the same time if I'm out and about and not on Wi-Fi LTE in phone calls work fine but if I'm in the doors and have Wi-Fi on my phone will stop receiving calls after about 10 minutes of sitting.

Last week, noticed that I couldn't make a phone call. Spent an hour on the phone with Verizon tech and they sent me to a local Verizon store for a new sim card. I walked in, told the agent why I was there. He immediately took my phone, changed a couple of settings, and voila, my phone worked again.
Today, same thing. I looked at the settings and they hadn't changed from what he set it to. The only new thing on my phone was the addition of Dashlane, a password keeper program.
I have updated My iPhone 4 to 5.1.1 and now I can't make or recieve phone calls. I can still use my data and access everything else including texts.

I have just recently bought a Nokia N97 ( Not Mini ) and I cannot hear anything on the phone when I either Make or Receive any calls. The only odd thing I can see after doing a Factory Reset is that the Headphones Symbol is constantly ON all the time and I was just wondering if this is normal for this type of phone or is the phone showing a fault.

I have a problem with an iPhone 4 GSM with iOS 5.1: until last week it perfectly worked and then it started to not have any signal bars and therefore I can't receive and send either calls or texts. I upgraded the software and then I started to get a busy signal when trying to call out and cannot receive calls either. Same goes for text messages. When prompted that radio is off, i always turn it back on.. It is unlocked and still has Verizon as mobile network.

After the update, the phone will not send/receive phone calls/text messages after it has been sitting in locked mode (the screen displays the default clock) after about 30 minutes. Once I have restarted the phone it works properly until it returns to the locked mode. I have performed a factory reset on the device with out any luck.

Now, having read other threads, turning 3G off and using only 2G solves the problem, but then, what is the point of having 3G if you cannot use it, right? I also dont have the problem in my house as i use wi-fi to connect to my wireless router and boost the signal.

My husband uses a T-mobile Android and while neither of us receive any cell signal, when our WIFI is on, my husband can receive and make phone calls with his cell phone. I on the other hand have not been able to figure out how the iphone may be able function in a similar way.

A day ago i came through a issue with my nexus, as i connected my charger to the phone, the phone went into a bootloop and wouldnt get into recovery,fastboot,bootloader mode the fix i found on some thread on xda was to remove the back panel and then reattach the battery circuits. This worked exactly as described the phone booted properly.
But since then my nexus wasnt switching to 3G signal, i wasnt sure if it was my sim/operator failing to provide signals, finally after a whole day returning from job i realized that its my nexus thats not connecting to 3g and not the sim operator as i tried using my sim on my mothers phone.
I couldnt find any fixes on the internet and so I went through the internal hardware specifications and from ifixit i learned that reconnecting the antenna wires solved the issue for me.
When I open the phone app to make a call I have to hit the keypad button 2 times for the keypad to show up.

There are times when I can't make or receive calls or send or receive texts.When I attempt to make a call, it never rings and when I try to end these calls, it doesn't register that the call has ended. People receive these calls but when they answer, there is silence. If people call me, I don't get any notification of this.
When I send texts, the loading bar at the top of the page never reaches the end - the same things happens: people receive the texts but when they reply it never reaches me.I have replaced the phone and it did t make a difference. I am with Vodafone and I'm always in full reception when this happens.When I connect to wifi, the text messages (but not missed calls) come through.

After struggling to get microphone to work on phone calls, I did a complete wipe and flashed the latest stock factory image.
I'm still having this issue. It's on both hangouts dialer and phone app.
When I use a voice recording app, microphone works. Google Now "OK Google" does not work though. I'm perplexed how to resolve this issue.
Can Receive incoming calls but cannot make outgoing calls. Plus texting is working find both incoming and out going.
As per per signal four bars.
its even closed after trying twice to delete the old missed calls !Now when i make call or receive calls , its not appear at all in recents calls app.
