Is there any way when I want to listen to voice message in whatsapp, that the sound wouldn't go through Bluetooth? (I don't want to switch to Bluetooth every time I get a voice message in the car)
I have the galaxy s and my wife has just bought the s2 now when she turns on her bluetooth the message alert notification sounds ? My galaxy s makes no sound when I activate it........is there anyway of turning off the notification sound for the bluetooth on the s2
I plugged my earbuds into my s6. The external sound did not mute, and the no sound came thru the earbuds. What's up. Note: I changed out earbuds, just in case, the first pair were bad.
My iPhone 2G with 3.1.3 started acting up on me a couple of days ago and would get locked unjailbroken everytime i would hard reset it or turn the iPhone off. I would simply restore it to 3.1.3 firmware then jailbreak with redsn0w. But yesterday it would not let me restore the phone. I tried literally every firmware from 1.xx to 3.1.3 and would not restore. Now i get "Error (28)". I've also tried restoring it on different computers/USB ports/ USB cables/different iTunes versions but nothing seems to work. I've also tried using Ireb, Redsn0w, Blackra1n, Recboot, Spirit, iRecovery, winpwn, quickpwn, but I can't get out of this Error (28). Someone mentioned that if i got it into DFU mode then maybe i could clean the firmware from any corrupter restore and could get it back up. Does anyone know how to get into DFU mode from recovery mode, or better yet how to fix this Error (28)?
i slept last night with my phone battery fairly charged, but when i woke up this morning the phone wouldn't come on. i've tried rebooting but it didn't woke. i've tried charging the phone but the screen only displays a battery with the charging sign but it never comes on. just now i've tried updating the OS 6 software but it gets to a point where it writes Reconnecting to JVM and the a pop up comes saying Application Loader was unable to connect with your Device....and i keep on clicking retry and never still connects. i'm totally out of options
I used my phone in my break at work at about 4 o clock and then switched it off as phones have to be off in certain rooms where I work, when I came to switch it on at 7ish it wouldn't turn on at all. When I finally got home I plugged it in and it turned on and I checked the battery left and it had gone fully down to 0% battery life besides the fact when i was using it in my break it was on 40% minimum and it had been off after that. Does any one know whats wrong with it?
I have an iPhone 5 16gb with iOS 8.1.1 that I used last night with my LuguLake Portable Bluetooth Speaker to listen to music. I've used this particular bluetooth speaker for about 3 months.Â
I turned the bluetooth speaker off, like I always do, but the sound did not return to my phone. It has not made any sound since last night before I used it with the speaker.Â
I tried restarting the phone twice, using it with the bluetooth speaker again (works fine), tried it with headphones (works fine), but otherwise it acts like the mute switch is on - and its not. I've even tried restoring the phone and it didn't make any noise, so I restored my backup, still no noise... What do I do?!!!!!Â
I have an otterbox case on my phone and do not recall dropping it recently. I never use the headphone port so it's not dirty but I cleaned it with a q-tip just for good measure. I don't know what else to try.Â
It seems like the phone won't disconnect from the bluetooth speaker even with bluetooth off.Â
I have a problem with my N96. It just died and wouldn't turn on. I have tried multiple times to remove the battery and then try to turn it on again but it doesn't work. It will only vibrate as if it's gonna turn on but it doesn't.
I apologize for the long message, but I think this needs to be explained thoroughly. I'm having some trouble with my Blackberry Curve 9300, which I just purchased in the last week.I visited the Blackberry App World website to set up an account. After installing the Blackberry App World Browser Plug In, I connected my Blackberry to my computer. The website told me to enter my phone's password lock - so I did, but the website told me I entered the wrong code. After about 10 unsuccessful attempts, I gave up.
My iPhone 4 wouldn't accept the password this morning. I used it last night...did not change the password. I'm wondering why it wouldn't take the password. I tried too many times and I got locked out and the phone is now wiped.
Today i notice that i have this problem:Â URL....but on my bt speaker. Was fine when last tested couple of days ago.My Karbon Onyx speaker screams of pain now, even at lowest volume(unless 0 when its silent as in linked problem above) , while sound on my sony mdr-as800BT seems fine. Have not yet tested in my car.I seem to have all kind of volume related problem with this phone(z3) , earlier this...
After I disconnected my Bluetooth headphones, I have no sound coming out of my speakers... Music plays but no sound. I rebooted and still no sound. Works fine with wired & wireless headphones, phone rings fine, no music or media plays... Im Stock/Unrooted.
I've been struggling with this issue for some time now, and haven't found any explanation. The issue is that if I am using turn-by-turn navigation software (that speaks directions) while my iPhone 4 is connected to a Bluetooth device, and the software hasn't given me directions for a minute or so, the connection seems to "go to sleep." When the next directions are issued, I miss the first part. For example, if the directions should have said "Get ready to turn left at Main Street," all I might hear is "at Main Street." Quite unhelpful!
Some details: I have tried two different navigation programs. I used MapQuest's free app for a while, and now am using the VZ Navigator app. Both had the same issue. I have also tried three different Bluetooth devices: a Plantronics Voyager headset, a Jabra headset and my car's Bluetooth speakerphone. All show the same behavior. Also, if I'm playing music through Bluetooth in my car, the problem goes away completely.
My conclusion is that the iPhone 4 is letting the connection with the Bluetooth device lapse when not in active use for some length of time, and it takes a few seconds to re-establish it. But that doesn't lead me to a solution. Anyone else experience this, and know of a fix for the problem? Is there any way to keep the connection alive without playing music, which I would obviously prefer not to do with a headset!
i decided to backup my phone as i had not in a while. It was perfectly fine when backing up and when i downloaded my pictures.A notification came up that my software was not up to date so i pressed check for updates. My computer found one update and i proceeded to update it.After the update my phone appeared to be completely wiped.I wasn't worried because i had done a backup.I proceeded to restore my phone.at one point it became frozen at a certain point.the cord became unplugged accidental and i gave up for the night.i plugged it into the wall to charge it and went to sleep. when i woke up the screen was completely white and it said "app reset". i restarted my phone but it wouldn't turn on.once it did it took about 20 minutes just to fill up the restart bar. after that it took about 5 minutes before it proceeded to security software verification but wouldn't load.the small black black arrow will not leave the screen of my phone.the software security wont update and i am getting very frustrated.at the moment the software security is still going and is only at 8 percent after this it doesn't proceed any farther but simply turns white and says app reset. i have now been through this process twice and just have my battery, sim and micro SD chip out and my phone is sitting next to me.
i have had my curve for 6 months and one day my bbm and blackberry app world got deleted and i went into my local rogers store and they couldn't do anything so told me to re-downlaod the software; i tried but my black berry wouldn't connect to the computer and the app world and bbm download wouldn't recognize my phone. so i don't have either! what can i do?
Ok first off my name is ughwtf because everytime I tried to type in a username it wouldn't do anything so I got annoyed and typed ughwtf and of course it worked. Second off this sight is not very helpful as when I was signing up it didn't even have my phone listed as a choice. My problem is that I do not have backup and restore on my Sony X10 phone and I am trying to update it to android 2.1. I follow the program and it takes me to the site to download backup and restore (which also doesn't have x10 as a model to choose from) and after I download the file on my phone it says blocked for security purposes because it's not from the market. In the instructions (which are for a mini because it doesn't include just a regular x10) it shows the option to allow non market downloads, however on a x10 I cannot find that option under settings or anywhere.
All of a sudden my iPhone 4's primary camera wouldn't work and it displays a black screen. But the front camera works just fine. It worked perfectly well day before yesterday when I last used it. The video mode displays the same black page too.
But if I touch the sceen the the square depicting the focus is displayed and so is the grid. I tried taking pictures to see if only the display is black but the picture had been taken. But again the pictures all show just a black screen.
Info: iPhone 4, iOS 5.0.1, Windows 7, latest version of itunes
My iPhone 4S OS 5.0.1 wouldn't receive push notifications even when I've received SMSes. For example, when someone sends me a SMS / WhatsApp message, my iPhone doesn't give off any vibration or notifications saying there's a message incoming.(Only discover the incomin message after seeing the (1) icon in Messages) Note: my device was switched on..It's running on iOS 5.0.1
I switched to a new bluetooth headphones and the new headphones show connected to the Icon but I am not getting sound.. I am not able to test the old headphones to see if they still have sound as they will no longer hold a charge.
so my land rover has built-in bluetooth capability and is paired with my iphone. when i get into the car it connects and i can play my itunes through the car speakers and take calls etc .. all very nice.
when i get back in the house, all sound is gone from itunes and Internet etc...
i have tried a hard reboot.. nothing...
it seems to get stuck thinking it is still playing sound over bluetooth to my car?? that's all i can think of...
I've been having some trouble with my bluetooth headphones. Usually they work very well, I can listen to music and also make calls with them, but once in a while I will encounter a problem, when I answer a call, it will be completely mute. If I turn the headphone off, it will still be off. Even if I hang up the call, then my phone will now be completely mute (I can't even listen to music anymore). So I reset, and then my phone is back to normal.
While i was using my Nokia 1208 last night, it spontaneously turned off. When i turned it back on and typed in my PIN, it requested a security code. The default 12345 wouldn't work and i have never changed the code. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me and the first time it was just impossible to fix it so i bought a new 1. Can some please help or post of you have had a similar problem!
I got a blackberry storm from my friend about 2 weeks ago. When I got it, it worked perfectly, I personalized eveyrthing and I loved the phone. However, this week I was at work and I'm pretty sure the phone died. The red light stayed on, and when I was charging it in my car, it wouldn't hold a charge. It didn't turn on for 2 days, other than the white screen with the battery. I did a few battery pulls and left it plugged in. Now, it turns on when it wants to but the touchscreen realizes that my finger is there, but it doesn't click. What should I do? I took it to verizon and since I don't have insurance on it, they won't give me a new one.
My htc looks exactly like the one on the pic above. An auto update option came up and after the updates finished i installed it. the phone shut down and since then it has never rebooted more than the second screen with the htc one and beat audio page.
Today I tried turning the volume for incoming calls up and nothing. I went into settings to turn it up from there. It said volume was on minimum and wouldn't turn up from there either. It's not like the button isn't working as on the screen you could tell that altering the volume wasn't an option as the symbol wasn't lit up (to the left of the volume bar)
After I owned my Motoactv for about a month, the device refused to sync workouts. I tried everything with the help of tech support, and finally sent the device into Motorola for repair. It came back with a note saying everything was great. Unfortunately, that did not solve the problem (music would sync, but workout sync was always "failure").I decided to try creating an entirely new account for the motoactv, and that actually worked. I have no idea why, but it worked and I have not had any problems for the past month with syncing. The only thought I have as to why is that just before the device "broke" I had tried to schedule a workout from the website for a pre-determined route for bicycling, but oddly the workout never showed up on the device. The Motorola tech support, though thoughtful, was completely unable to resolve this, even when I sent the device in for repair.I do wish I could try the schedule workout again to pre-plan a route for running or biking, but I don't want to have to come up with yet another new account on a new email address (I have run out of email addresses).
Recently purchased a x03-02 and I am quite disappointed with the sound quality (mostly bass) when I use to play music via bluetooth in the car, had a sony erickson and notice a huge difference from one another in the same song
I had a Razr Maxx for a couple years and never had problems with my bluetooth in my car. I upgraded to a Motorola Droid Turbo in June. The bluetooth paired up with my car, no problem, and worked fine for about a week. Unfortunately, something happened and now the sound of the person I'm talking to is garbled, underwater, robotic...whatever you want to call it. I can hear them. The volume is fine. They can hear me fine with no problems. It's just that the incoming sound is messed up. I've taken it to my local dealership/mechanic and they tested it with multiple other phones (iphones, other androids like Samsung and such) and it works just fine.
I’m trying to resolve an issue i have with my Sony MW1 Bluetooth headset when doing Skype or Hangouts calls  For some reason when using a Bluetooth headset (Used a Sony MW1 Smart Wireless Headset Pro, set and a Fiat Blue&Me Car Bluetooth) the sound keeps breaking off both for me and the person I’m calling. I get long brake after witch the sound returns for a while.  When using a wired headset there is no issue like this. nor do I have the issue when i do regular phone calls using the sets  Furthermore sometimes the Bluetooth sound doesn’t turn on at all, so I get no sound neither on the loudspeaker nor on the Bluetooth set although the BT volume is set to max
