Galaxy S6 Edge :: Screen Won't Turn On And Display When Text Message Received
Aug 16, 2015So just got my s6 edge 3 days ago (13th.) I don't know if i just noticed now or what, but whenever i get a text message or facebook message, basically any notification, my screen wont turn on and display it. Just led blink + sound+ viberate. I went into my settings and tried basically everything possible. I have show notifications on lock screen and inside messages app its toggled to show on lock screen also.

May 15, 2015Last night my fully charged S6 Edge was taken off the charger and left next to my bed. When I got up 7.5 hrs later I was very surprised to see that approx half my battery was gone and all due to the stock email sync. I have unlimited data and didn't bother changing the sync to longer intervals rather than push. I have obviously changed the sync interval.

Sep 13, 2015I am having troubles with my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925W8 running Android 5.1.1. Ever since I upgraded to 5.1.1 I have sometimes been unable to receive text messages. This never used to happen with the older version of software I ran when I first got my device, and it is becoming rather annoying.
At random times I cannot receive text messages, and I have found the only way to 'spur' my device to receive messages would be to sending one. But this can be rather tedious, because if I haven't received a text in a while I'm not sure if it's my phone acting up again (so I must send a random text to try and download the waiting texts) or I just genuinely have not received a text.

May 5, 2015I have a galaxy s6 edge. A weird thing is happening to my email. i would like to use conversation mode to display my messages. Initially all good. But when I press on the sent folder (to see the messages I sent), the Inbox goes crazy.
It displays all my sent messages in my inbox! Not just the ones from within a conversation, but all my sent messages... This is extremely strange. did not have that problem with my Samsung Alpha... I am at lost to understand Probably some simple setting I am missing?

Jul 24, 2010Just recently I have had some problems sending normal text messages..The problem is when I want to send a text I go to my contacts and try to send a sms message, but instead of opening up a conversation window I get taken straight to my recieved messages... Mar 20, 2015My wife just bought an LG G3, finally upgrading her LG Optimus T. She was having the same issue on her old phone, which is what prompted her to give the thing a decent burial.
The problem is that she's intermittently receiving texts 12 hours or more after they're sent. She's seldom anywhere that there's no signal & her old phone only recently started exhibiting these symptoms.
Her SIM card was upgraded when she got the new phone & I installed and formatted an older Class 10 32 GB SDHC card from my S4 after I replaced it with a 64 GB card.

Jun 27, 2014When I receive pictures via text message, i get 2 options, one to open with gallery, or with google photos.... when i open with gallery, the pictures a tiny as hell, and i cant zoom in on them and when i open with google photos they are blurry.
I got it to work once before but i sure don't remember how. I open the pictures with the stock messaging app, handcent, and 8sms and its all the same....

Mar 12, 2012Everything else is working fine but all day I've had issues texting and making/receiving calls. I've done a soft reset at least 10 times. Will let me then do about 2 texts, then it goes back to sending error. Every time I try to make a call it doesn't even ring, just goes to call fail.

BB Bold :: Text/sms Messages Show As Received?
Aug 10, 2012im having a problem with sending text sms messages. When isend these messages i get a check mark showing they have been sent. Why should i assume otherwise? And then i hear from multiple people that they received them at 4am or the next day or even just 30 minutes later and out of order. I even tested this with a friend sitting side by side. Out of 3 text messages sent, he only got the 2nd one and didnt receive any of the others. I read on another forum that it might be because my sim card might be old? Is this the knly possible explanation? It is probably at least 4-5 yrs old since i just get new phones but keep my sim card.
