On my Galaxy S6 when I sync my work calendar- Microsoft Outlook (I have three but I only want to see one of them on my phone) I get all three, I never had this problem with my iPhone & I can't find any way to fix the issue by selecting which calendars show on the phone.

However since last week all the entries are now showing twice, one in my "google calendar" and the same entry again in my "device" calendar. I would like to only show one of them as the default, but I can't set a default evidently, so in order to show the entries once only I need to select the calendar manually each time.
How can I
a.) get rid of the duplicates - or alternatively
b.) show one calendar as the default
c.) sync my tasks and show them on the calendar?
On my Moto Droid Turbo I am using the Command Center widget and for the most part, like it a lot. I had a question about the calendar(s) that it polls to show on the right side. It is showing an other calendar I have access too, even though on my calendar app, I have it set to not display.
Is there a way the Command Center widget can be told what calendar(s) to use? The entries it shows me are not really important to me for the most part (I only have access to the other calendar for occasional reference).
I received a new iPhone 4 and its application "Calendar" do no present de and calendars bottom. I need these to use the application. What can I do?

I have some events that I added to my calendar on my phone ONLY... if I sync it with the calendars on the computer will it loose the new events I created on my phone or will it add these new event to my computer calendar? I manually sync my calendar.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S2 to the S5. I am loving the phone except for the syncing of the Outlook (Exchange) calendar. I use multiple calendars in Outlook (for my work), but only want one of the calendars to sync to my phone (my main calendar only - the others are group calendars that I do not need to see on my phone; however, I am the owner of each of these calendars [not sure if that is important or not]). The problem I'm having is that the S5 is grouping my calendars into one calendar. I cannot choose which calendar I would like to see/sync, so the group calendar information is overpopulating my calendar (I use the S Planner calendar that comes with the Galaxies). I really just want the one (main) calendar to sync.
I thought the issue was in the S5's on-board S Planner calendar, so I disabled that and downloaded the Google calendar app. Much to my surprise, the same thing happened. This lead me to believe that it is something in how the S5 is syncing with the Exchange calendars.
I also have a Galaxy Tab 2 running the most recent software update (I don't know what it is), and it only syncs the main Outlook (Exchange) calendar ... not all of them. This is also how it was with my S2.
I am seeing multiple phone calendars (the one coming with the phone). they are all the same and how can I make them as one?

If I go to the Phone app, under Recent I see all my other calls - incoming, outgoing, and rejected. But it doesn't show me my missed calls. So once I dismiss the notification I have no record of the missed call.

I have multiple email address set up on my BB, and then use the BB calendar to keep all of these different calendars in one spot. It also allows me to have a color coded system in my calendar (work is one color, personal is one, etc), see the picture.This is probably the place where I'm different than others, I started keeping it on the BB before setting up my outlook calendar, yahoo calendar, or either of my google calendars. I would like to sync my work one with Thunderbird/Lightening, my personal gmail calendar with gmail, my other side project gmail calendar with gmail account2 and my yahoo calendar with yahoo.
My wife turned her Galaxy S5 on yesterday, slid her finger across the scanner to open the phone and it came up with the print not recognised message (as it has many times before). This time however, it did not allow her to scan her print again. the screen changed and asked her for a back up password, not a problem as she has done this a fair few times too, it just seemed strange that it only allowed one stroke of the scanner before asking for this. We have tried her back up password many times (and any other password we could think of) but the phone will not unlock, nor will it return to the normal lock screen and allow her to try her print again.
We have logged onto Android device manager and tried the lock screen hack (to obtain another password) but it just tells us that the screen is already locked so another password is not necessary.
When I sync iPhone calendars (Outlook) using iTunes none of the appointments made on the phone transfer to laptop. Appts made on laptop do transfer to iPhone. How can I fix this so both update?

I installed CaughtU Pro and in the settings I chose to hide the app, a default pin came up on screen but not long enough for me to make a note or take a screenshot. Now I can't find the app to "show" it again. When entering app manager, the app is listed but I don't have the option to disable or uninstall it.
