Create a folder and drag in the apps and then password protect it?
One way or the other how I can do it, and did not find much info from the PDF manual...
It will be a couple of days before I can purchase my skin from BSE and was wondering if anyone has any tips on protecting my screen from pesky scratches (I have a tiny one already from over-cleaning the screen, damn fingerprints!) until then. I know it would help, if not eliminate, my fear of scratches if I could just stop cleaning the screen, but those fingerprints drive me mad!

I recently bought a Brand New iPhone 3gs 32gb Black.I specifically bought the 32gb model so I can use 20gb as a portable flash drive and the rest for regular iphone stuff.Well I am able to use the iphone as a hard drive fine, but I recently noticed a problem.
I am not able to password protect the folders that I am adding.The reason this concerns me is because I have roommates. And 1 of them happens to have an iPhone 3gs also. There are times where I might have to leave my phone unattended in my room like when I go take a shower, etc.
Or even in the unfortunate event where I lose my phone which has never happened before thankfully.
I just wanted to know if there is a simple way to password protect the folders on my iphone 3gs hard drive so that nobody can access the files without the password.I've been searching google for the past hour and am shock that it is the year 2010 and Microsoft has still not implemented this into Windows.
All google search results turn up is websites that want you to download this trialware/freeware which alot of them do not look legit.Is there a simple quick and easy way to do this without installing any software because I really don't want to get any spyware or virus all over this.Is anybody is in the same situation as me, or has a solution to my problem.
New S6 ... email app keeps hanging and won't load up new messages unless I (i) go to smart manager and "clean all" ... that works most times; or (ii) use the "close all apps" feature ... that always works ... when I do one of those two things and reopen the email app, the new messages are visible and can be opened.
Other hang ups include inability to open email messages in the inbox ... and sometimes the entire inbox screen just goes blank.
interestingly, I still always get notifications when new messages come in ... so does not appear to be a sync issue.
I am connecting successfully to my pop email account, and am able to send/retrieve without issue. However, as soon as I pull email from the pop account on my home computer, I lose all of the messages on my phone. Isn't there a way to download messages onto my phone and keep them? I don't see an option to flag or save individual messages, or to move them to a folder.

Problem is; I can receive but not send emails and the emails I do get seem to fade away suddenly.I have the social hub whatsit, Gmail and in the accounts section I have 360.com alonside talktalk. I am getting 2 lots of emails therefore side by side as it were.I get a 'cannot connect' message when I try to send.It may be that the phone is not set up correctly but the salesman told me it would auto connect.I would be happy just to have one mail source I could send and receive on but would like to keep talktalk on desktop if possible.

Thus, if one accidentally triggers two reload/refreshes in sequence (or has automatic mail downloads enabled) this causes the unread mails from (an) earlier refresh(es) to be silently deleted and to "disappear", before one has a chance to read them! It displays all my sent messages in my inbox! Not just the ones from within a conversation, but all my sent messages... This is extremely strange. did not have that problem with my Samsung Alpha... I am at lost to understand Probably some simple setting I am missing?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to be able to check my email thru the GMail application; get notifications for my Yahoo Messenger, missed calls, voicemails, and SMS Text and MMS messages thru the BlackBerry Messages app; and my Gmail calendar thru the BlackBerry Calendar app.
I can't figure out how to make my email NOT appear in Messages. So, I created a dummy email account that gets no email and set that up as the default email account. Now I get my real email thru the Gmail app, and all the other notifications thru Messages (and no emails in there). Great, but the Calendar app won't work with my Gmail account because it only wants to connect to the dummy gmail account and to Facebook. I don't want Facebook to touch my calendar, and I have set it as such in the Facebook App options, but it still does. Using Google Sync, I managed to get my real calendar to show up in the Calendar as Default. When I run the sync, the appointments I created in the online Gmail calendar appear in the Calendar as being on the Facebook calendar.
From the Calendar, I can not create appointments for my real Gmail account, only for my dummy account and for Facebook. If I delete the appointments from the Facebook calendar, then after syncing it deletes the appointments from my online Gmail calendar. I think what I need to know boils down to "how can I prevent email from appearing in Messages?". If I can figure that out, then I can delete the dummy account and set up the email as my real account and then the calendar should work correctly.

I used a Storm for the last 30 days, and had 3 distinct and separate icons:
Messages - catchall for everything
Desktop email icon
2nd/personal email icon
However, I switched back to the Curve (8530) because of the keyboard, and now I don't have a primary desktop email icon. The only way to view work email is to use the messages icon where everything else goes as well. Is there any way to create or separate the two email accounts so I can view the work email separately?
I've bought new BB Curve 9300 couple of weeks ago and facing some problem regarding my inbox. After configuring my email in the smartphone I am sending and receiving emails are fine but whenever I open an old email address from my PC it receive as new email on the smartphone with new time and date. View 10 Replies View RelatedI have 2 email accounts set up on my bold.. Now just last night i noticed that on one of the emails, if i send an email from this specific account, it doesn't come up with the message i sent with the tick next to it.
In my 2nd account it works fine.I have re-sent the service books etc. I have checked all the options in the email settings and they are all the same.
My new Bold is showing my sent emails (from a gmail account) as if they were a new received email, simply showing what I sent but as an email sent from me.
I am switching from the Torch, and with the setup I had there, an email sent would show up in my blackberry messages folder as a sent message (regardless of whether I sent it from the blackberry or from gmail on the web).
