I usually have my phone plugged in to the aux cord when I am in my car so that I can listen to music. Naturally, when a call comes through, I answer it. The people on the line say that they hear an echo of themselves when they talk. I assume this is because the sound is coming through the speakers of my car and then back into the phone. I tried activating the HD calling on Verizon, but that did not seem to work. I did not have this issue on any of my old phones (S3, Moto X.) It is difficult to take my phone off the aux cord every time I get a call.
I have a new iPhone and a PC computer. Ive taken photos and want to have connected my iPhone to the PC with the USB cord. I see that my music has synced with iTunes but where are my photos?
i was on instagram and i was texting one of my friendsand then i went downstairs it was perfectly fine when i left it in my room. Then i came back up to check instagram again and it wouldnt turn on. This had happened before but it came back on after like 1 hour but i really need my phone. Even i plug it into the charger it wont come back on i had at least 60% of battery when i left it. What should i do?
I bought this phone off a friend. Its three months old and works great. But the other night I accidentally put the magnetic port on backwards and the phone completely died. I freaked out and tried every key combination possible. I eventually got a red led when I plugged in the microusb port. It turned on in about 10 minutes like normal.
Now, when ever I attach the magnetic cord (properly) I get an orange led blinking and the device doesn't charge at all. What does the blinking orange led mean? Does warranty cover the magnetic port?
I have just purchased a Galaxy SII ... my only real problem is that there is quite a bad echo when I use the phone. this is noticeable by friends that have often rung me over the past few months. They all notice now I have my new phone that there is an echo when they talk to me. So, it seems that it is my phone causing it?
Have a really bad echo every time someone calls me. I can't hear it at all but whoever calls says the echo is very bad on their side. I've tried taking off the cover and that doesn't work.
Turn off the Google app TalkBack, the icon is a big HAND orange and white colors. This app is causing an echo when you use your Galaxy S5. Problem was, you can't hear the echo yourself, but the person you talk to will complain about an echo. I would get the echo when I went to speakerphone, but other owners may have this issue on regular speaker too, I don't know, but just turn off the TalkBack app, it's interfering.
I had problem with low volume during the call so I followed the suggestion in the forum elowhttp://www.samsunggalaxysforum.com/s...)-very-low-!!/There are suggestions to adjust the "sidetone" value. Once I did that, I have been hearing the echo throughout my calls (not happen in speaker or headset mode, though). Now I am very frustrated. If anyone come across the solution for this issue
I have a problem with my galaxy s5. When I have it plugged into my car stereo using an aux cord every time I change songs it makes a "pop pop" sound like the speakers are cutting out. This only happens with my phone and no one elses.
I have the dreaded echo when I'm using the phone and would like to know if there is a permanent way of turning off Noise Reduction as this is the only way I can get rid of it. As I already have a hearing impediment the echo is extremely annoying and having to turn off NR everytime the phone is used strikes me as ridiculous for such an expensive and otherwise marvellous piece of kit; its also a silly inconvenience.
Any hacks that will turn off NR or any chance Samsung will cure this in a software update?
I am facing a serious problem with call quality with my Sony Xperia Z5 Dual. Specifically, when making GSM calls the other side complain about echo, which remains during the entire duration of the call. This doesn't happen when I use headphones or make calls through Skype or Viber. FYI, removing one of the two sim cards does not solve the problem.
I am not sure if this is a hardware or a software issue.
During ALL calls people complain to me that they hear their voice echoing all the time. This problem remains whatever I have tried to do (activate/deactivate the Voice Clarity option, with/without handsfree).
I just purchased a new Z5 Compact and have found that when making a call using the speaker phone / handsfree option the person on the other end of the call hears the echo of their speaking. Its like what is coming out of my speaker is being picked up by my microphone and sent back to the other party with a slight delay.I have seen other posts in a similar vein.I like to use the handsfree speakerphone option for calls a lot and this is a big problem for me.
Lately I've been getting an echo on my phone. This is with incoming calls only. The echo is my voice and I can hear it quite well. Fido thinks it is the phone or possibly the Sim card.
Info: iPhone 4, iOS 5, Factory Unlocked, Non Jailbroken
i have a iphone 3 n until yesterday it would charge with the usb cord. the brother took my charger n since then my phone wont charge wit a cable cord. it will charge in a ipod dock but not a usb connected to the computer.
For the last couple months, people have complained that they hear an echo of themselves when I call them using speakerphone. With some trial and error, I've determined that the echo occurs because the microphone on my end is picking up the sound of the phone's loudspeaker (hitting the mute button on my end stops the echo for the other person).
This only occurs when I'm using a third party application. Speakerphone works fine if I'm using the native dialer. But any speakerphone or video call from Hangouts or Facebook Messenger gives the person on the other end of the line the intolerable echo of themselves.
The echo still happens in safe mode. The echo remained after I wiped the cache partition, and even after a full factory reset.
i just bought a motorola defy plus upgraded it to android 2.3.6 and i have a real problem here.... when i call a friend or anyone else i can hear my voice repeated after just like an echo (feals like im talking in a tunnel) however this only occurs with gsm calls through the handset if im using the hand free there is no echo also if im doing an internet call through skype or viber i dont hear this echo
I bought my photon in July 2011. when I make calls I have repeated problems with people hearing me. They say my voice fades in and out or sounds like I am in an echo chamber. It doesn't matter where I am at, home, office, on the road. It happens to everyone. It started with my first photon. I was told an upgrade was coming to fix it. Upgrade provided no fix. Phone got run over (don't try this, it ain't that tough), new photon arrived, right out of the box, same problem. Sprint gave me another photon. As I drove out of the Sprint parking lot making my first call, same problem. If I plug my ear buds in, the problem immediatly goes away. Neither Sprint or Motorola have any answers. Does anyone have similar problem? Any fixes? I do not believe it is the phone but I have no ideas.
ive had two people tell me that they were hearing an echo/repeat of what they were saying on their end of the phone, and i heard it once on my end. Not sure whats going on here, but what can i do to resolve this issue. I need a phone that is reliable and not causing people to hang up/get frustrated because its echoing on them and making it hard for them to understand me.
Has anyone had this issue with their torch yet? do i actually need a refurb already! getting echo voice when on calls. listening is amazing but i can hear my voice buzz rather annoying.
I am getting a tinging echo type noise when I make or receive calls. You can hear everything fine but it keeps making a funny noise during the calls and is very annoying.
I have a brand new Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, when I make/receive calls, the person at the other end has an echo from my phone. THIS is not the case using a bluetooth device to make the calls with. What to do ?
