Lately I've been getting an echo on my phone. This is with incoming calls only. The echo is my voice and I can hear it quite well. Fido thinks it is the phone or possibly the Sim card.

Everytime a place or receive a call (mobile homephone) the other end is hearing an echo. If I use headset or speak, the other end listens fine.

I am facing a serious problem with call quality with my Sony Xperia Z5 Dual. Specifically, when making GSM calls the other side complain about echo, which remains during the entire duration of the call. This doesn't happen when I use headphones or make calls through Skype or Viber. FYI, removing one of the two sim cards does not solve the problem.
I am not sure if this is a hardware or a software issue.
I have an X3-02 with the 6.00 software update.
During ALL calls people complain to me that they hear their voice echoing all the time. This problem remains whatever I have tried to do (activate/deactivate the Voice Clarity option, with/without handsfree).
My iphone 4 will has stopped accepting incoming calls. In addition my text message and e-mail message incoming alerts have stopped working.

i just bought a motorola defy plus upgraded it to android 2.3.6 and i have a real problem here.... when i call a friend or anyone else i can hear my voice repeated after just like an echo (feals like im talking in a tunnel) however this only occurs with gsm calls through the handset if im using the hand free there is no echo also if im doing an internet call through skype or viber i dont hear this echo

Not sure whats going on here, but what can i do to resolve this issue. View 5 Replies View RelatedWe've upgraded successfully our two US Moto X Pure Edition devices to Marshmallow yesterday. After upgrade completed, the numbers of calling contact are not being recognized anymore, although these contact exists and saved in android's Contact app, and backed up in Gmail accounts. Also, all incoming and outgoing calls in the call log are not recognized, although they were recognized before the upgrade.
This is very critical for us, since one of the phones is used as a business phone and it's crucial for us to know who's calling.
Can Receive incoming calls but cannot make outgoing calls. Plus texting is working find both incoming and out going.

My phone is a UK model.UK Vodafone have terminated the Passport service as of 1st November which means I now go on to NZ roaming which at �1.65/NZ$3.30 a minute is somewhat steep - I also pay that amount for the incoming call.I now need to block all incoming calls on my phone so as I am not tempted to answer calls at odd times of the day or night (quite hard when we are 13 hours ahead of UK and totally out of sync with them) and pay extortionate amounts of money BUT I need to leave the phone available to make and receive text messages.It is not as easy as to just get a NZ phone contract as this was my life line with friends and family in UK until my provider pulled the passport service so need to disable the phone I have.how to do this so as I can still send/receive text but NOT receive voice calls on my S2?
