Just got a Galaxy S5 and as I called my own cell as a test, I heard a message that stated something along the lines of, "please enjoy this music while your party is contacted". So instead of hearing a phone ring, someone calling my phone gets a blast of crappy music. How to get rid of/turn this off? It's pretty obnoxious.
View 7 RepliesMy phone called someone in the middle of the night while I was sleeping. It has made a few other calls during the day without a requests from me. In addition if it hears music it starts sending a 3 bell ring and on screen asks if I will not speak more clearly. At times it talks and says "Speak more clearly." The screen sometimes shows a cloud when interrupting and other times a mic. I think this may be due to a malfunctioning google assist. I think it thinks music is my voice. Sometimes I am taking pictures with it and it hears music causing it to change from the camera mode to ring 3 tones and say speak more clearly. The calling and interruptions are nuisances.

View 4 Replies View RelatedHaving bought and downloaded several albums via the Google Play app I thought they would appear in my music folder but sadly they didnt and I can only access them via the app. Is there a way of transferring them to my music folder so I can in turn use them as a ringtone? If not is there anywhere I can download music from that saves it in the music folder? I asked a guy in Carphone Warehouse and he showed me a site that turned out to be an illegal download site which I would rather not use.

I've had my S5 for a year now. I noticed ever since the 5.0 upgrade that i got in April for my ATT S5 that I have been missing calls and texts due to my phone going into silent in my pocket because the dreaded volume keys are able to press themselves in my pocket even with the screen locked and off. I don't see an option to stop this behavior and to me it seems like an OBVIOUS place for there to be an option.
What can I do to stop this? Even worse sometimes it will click up to a high ringtone volume and go off when I am in a meeting at work.
I downloaded a ringtone maker and i made a few ringtones but i cant figure out how to set it as my ringtone im not that good with itunes either someone said i needed to change the format of the ringtone

I had the tour first and since upgrading to .732 since the BOLD has the same software and i now have the bold 9650-verizon. When my phone rings the last callers name will come up first then automatically change to current caller.Has this been happening to anyone?

My phone for reasons best known to itself infrequently if not rarely reboots and then plays a loud piece of music (not one I have downloaded!) and I cannot seem to mute it or turn it off until its run it's 30 second course. This may not sound a long time but it is when you are in a meeting of quiet place and other than removing the battery, which would defeat the whole point I cannot find out how to a) silence it, b) turn it off for future reboots or c) why my phone feels the need to restart on a regular basis.

I called the phone company, and they gave me this code I plug it in call pay money to get the service of Blocking my number when calling someone. I signed up for the service, but when I went to Settings --> Phone --> Show Callers ID, I was not able to turn it OFF, it was blocked to ON. What do I do to make it work, I really don't want to jailbreak my iPhone for this.

Having noticed some people have been having same problems,I have checked that I do not have any duplicate numbers stored, and have also tried saving only to sim or only to phone but neither are allowing the number to be displayed. I run my own business so this is getting annoying as if I miss a call I don't have a clue who it is and can not return any calls!! Can anybody help!

Also, in settings the "Ringtone Volume" -option is light grey, as if I could not use it...
The phone can make sounds though, so it isn't a speaker problem or something...
