Suddenly I have a picture on my lockscreen (Galaxy 5) that I did not put there. I don't even have the picture on my phone. It just appeared after I was listening to some songs of this band on youtube. and now It is there.

I always have my phone (S5) with me, about 5 minutes ago I've unlocked and saw a weird pixelated picture with a woman.. I don't have the picture in the gallery.
View 1 Replies View Relatedhad it in my pocket whislt I was walking round, and when I sat down at a restaurant and looked at it, and it was almost like the phone had just died, but the screen didn't light up and the LED didn't flash. I charged it up fully the night before and i know that when the battery is flat it flashes yellow, but it was doing nothing.When I got home i tried charging it, but nothing and then I plugged it into my laptop to try a retrive all of my stuff on there but again nothing!

Does neone know where this went? I updated with the official not the beta. Also I notice volume adjustments while on a call is not precise when lowering or raising.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded my Nokia N73 to the E72 and am very very disappointed with the picture quality of the camera.
It does not appear to be the same quality as the Carl Zeiss lens of my old N73 and many pictures seem to be out of focus. It has annoying habit of when i try to take a quick snap of continually asking me to chose a shooting mode and the therefore the moment has gone. I also use this camera function for my work and unless I can find advice on taking better quality pics then it will have to go back.Is mine a faulty unit or is there a knack of taking a picture without the camera moving which I think is causing part of the problems.
I am a long time iPhone user and switched to Android last week (Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge).
I am still getting used to the phone and there are some minor things are are bugging me.
A big nuisance for me is the backup password with the fingerprint security feature - I don't like having to use a backup password that is a mixture of letters and characters.
If my fingerprint hand is occupied it makes opening the phone difficult.
My s6 keeps periodically prompting me to choose a default launcher. Phone worked fine yesterday and now today all of a sudden it can't remember what launcher I set as a preference. Periodically when I press the home button I am asked to choose between the normal touchwhiz launcher and the touchwhiz easy launcher. It is pretty annoying. I have no 3rd party launchersupplies installed I just don't understand.

Enough to put anyone in a great mood.Fixing the screen isn't the problem though. 02 have agreed to fix it for me, for a small fee, but they have confirmed that the whole phone will be flashed before hand. This is not good. I have a lot of memories on the phone that i would like back.I have connected the phone to samsung keis, however, since the screen locked, the dam thing won't let me in to my own data. View 1 Replies View RelatedI miss the full screen album art on the lock screen from my lg G3 while playing any type of media (Pandora, Spotify, etc.) ... Even worked while I used xbmc (now kodi)... I believe even Samsung had this as well. While some didn't like it, I loved it!
Any way to get that back on the s6/edge?? Not sure why they did away with this.
I'm rooted, so if there's any mods out there that'll achieve this for root, let me know
So my fully updated S5 lock screen will disable itself randomly. I will have it on the swipe or code lock and several days later it will just auto put it back to no screen lock. Same is happening to my wife's S5 and we have a few same apps that we have had for a year. It could be several days to one day.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI reflashed all the factory images to my Nexus 6P (except userdata), and then restored a TWRP backup of the data partition. This worked, my phone boots up and obviously has my installed apps, etc. But... on the Nexus 6P when you restart the phone you have to enter your lock pattern or PIN. My phone was previously configured with a pattern. It seems the TWRP data backup didn't backup the lock pattern, because it doesn't recognize my pattern.
My fingerprint is recognized, but on the Nexus 6P you still have to enter the lock pattern or PIN when you first reboot. So, I have no way to get into the phone. I tried setting a new lock screen password with Android Device Manager, but it doesn't work. I still get the screen asking for the lock pattern. Is there any way I can get into my phone without blowing away all the data?

When I go to the 'screen lock type' screen, it does not offer Swipe or None, they are there but in lightened font. just want to return the phone to no lock. I was able to remove the fingerprints but now the Screen Lock Type screen only offers pattern, pin, password or fingerprints. I want None...but it is in lightened font and says "Turned off by administrator, encryption policy or credential storage.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have had my S5 2 days. When I am in the lock screen If i press the side lock button or get a notification (sms/email/eBay) or when my charge hits 100% The screen lights up.
I like this feature the only problem is then the screen does not go back out!! it stays lit until i tap the side lock button again or unlock the phone until it times out again .
I have checked developer options and nothing is ticked to keep screen on etc... I have also tried messing with screen lock times and stuff.

Where it once showed the app's symbol/icon in the top corner (nice and small and JUST the symbol) so I knew I had a message or something, there's nothing. I can only see them if I allow my notifications to show largely in the middle of the screen. Unlike the symbol, this is smack dab in the middle and not only shows who the message is from but what it says. I'd rather not let anyone see my personal messages. Just a suggestion: make it possible to see our notification symbol in the top corner of the lock screen like before instead of the big notification in the middle, where everyone can see...
