My girlfriend's grandma has a galaxy S5 through viaero and today it just stopped receiving calls. She still gets texts but when we call her phone it rings for about 15 seconds and goes to voicemail, it doesn't even show that anyone even tried to call on her phone

I have bought a galaxy S5 model SM-G900T and i have been using it on my VIVO sim card ( BRASIL ) for about 6 months now, last week it has stopped making and receiving calls or sms, but 4G is working fine. I tried to factory reset, downgrade, upgrade, but still can't make calls.

Last week, noticed that I couldn't make a phone call. Spent an hour on the phone with Verizon tech and they sent me to a local Verizon store for a new sim card. I walked in, told the agent why I was there. He immediately took my phone, changed a couple of settings, and voila, my phone worked again.
Today, same thing. I looked at the settings and they hadn't changed from what he set it to. The only new thing on my phone was the addition of Dashlane, a password keeper program.
I can call out on my phone but it does not ring or display when someone calls me. I do however get a message if one is left but no notification that there is a voice mail ...
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an iPhone with sprint, and it has worked more than amazingly prior to this. It wasn't until last night around 12am that this started. I have had the phone for 4 to 5 months now. The bars in the top left are flat and occasionally one will pop up. I can t make calls and texts are slow to or just don't send at all. I was messing around on my download app in the browser and it closed and then thu problem arises. I have deleted the app even turned on and off my phone several times and turned airplane mode on and off several times. Please help:/ this is not an issue with location, and everytime I make calls it just says "calling mobile..."

I need a phone so people can call me and send me text messages. But that simply doesn't work. However, I'm able to call or send texts messages to them just not the other way around. Only when I turn off wifi on my phone I start receiving the backlog of SMS messages.
Some times I can receive calls when connected to wifi but the SMS messages don't come through until I disconnect.
My wife has also just upgraded from a s4 to s5 but hers appears to be ok.
I have noticed that in more networks/mobile networks/network mode, my wife's gives options of 3G, 4g etc but mine says LTE/WCDMA/gsm which I though was strange as we are both on virgin mobile. I don't think this is the issue though as it's a wifi issue.

All was well but recently I cannot receive calls in any of my apps- Viber/Whatsapp/Kakao/Skype etc. People have been calling me using these apps but it never comes through, it never rings. View 7 Replies View RelatedAnyway, last night I set my alarm as I normally do before bed and this morning I over slept by a disgusting amount because somehow all of my apps had spontaneously crashed while I was asleep! The force close notification kept coming up for a number of different applications before I was forced to simply turn it off. When I turned it on again a few seconds later, most of my settings had been wiped along with much of the data kept on the actual phone memory. Some stuff was still there, like all my apps, my connections and passwords, but my home screen was defaulted, as were my message tone, ring tone and input settings. Also gone were any phone numbers I had stored on the phone itself as well as all of my inbox messages.
So, I went into the settings to put my screen lock back on because I noticed that had been reset, too. I did the normal routine, picked the pattern, confirmed it and so on. But after I put my phone down and locked the screen, when I picked it back up again and pressed the home key to activate the screen, it was just unlocked. I didn't have to input the unlock pattern. However, when I went back into the settings to make sure they were all okay, it made me enter the unlock pattern to get into it! How odd.
This morning, after never having a problem with my phone before, I have a message that reads "SIM Card Rejected" right at the very top centre of my screen. In the very right hand corner it says "SOS" in red. My phone is less than 2 months old. Please tell me it's an easy fix.

I have a problem with an iPhone 4 GSM with iOS 5.1: until last week it perfectly worked and then it started to not have any signal bars and therefore I can't receive and send either calls or texts. I was issued a phone from my job. As of today my phone currently is not sending/receiving phone calls and i cannot check the voicemail. To make it a bit more clear, i have no phone icon nor voicemail icon. if i use the keyboard to input a number and dial it, it does nothing. if i try to call through contacts my phone freezes. I cannot get into the ringtone options either.This is the third time this has happened to me within the last 2 months. The first time it happened they couldnt help fix the issue and i had to send the phone in for a replacement. last time I called up and they walked through getting the phone totally reset.
So now that it has happened again i have decided to get on the forums and explain the issue and hopefully they can figure out if this is a glitch in the phone, known issue or whatever.. My Blackberry is not my main phone, i have a personal phone i use all the time for entertainment and chatting. This weekend i did not charge my blackberry due to lack of not using it. i also didnt charge it when i was on vacation a while back and this had happened to me as well. Here is the only thing i do every time which may or may not be the cause..i forget to charge the phone. the phone drains the battery enough to shut itself off. when i find out its dead, i plug it in to charge it. a small battery icon appears with a electric bolt through it. i leave it be for about 10 seconds and i want the phone to come to see if i have any missed calls so i press and hold the power button a few seconds. the phone boots up and viola. no phone icon to be found. IMO, this should not normally bring up any issue but this is exactly what has happened all three times. As i said earlier, this is my second phone that has had the same problem. I rarely ever use this phone except to do company business so i am not downloading any apps or games. i use the company phone about 17 minutes a month and check my outlook sync'd calander and emails.
I can't send or receive SMS or make phone calls. I can send and receive BBM's and e-mails and my service indicator states that I have full service but can't make calls or send texts.
