View 1 Replies View RelatedMy girlfriend's grandma has a galaxy S5 through viaero and today it just stopped receiving calls. She still gets texts but when we call her phone it rings for about 15 seconds and goes to voicemail, it doesn't even show that anyone even tried to call on her phone
View 2 Replies View RelatedI got a Samsung Galaxy S6 and I have to say, it's the worst cellphone I ever owned. I don't care about all the fancy stuff. I need a phone so people can call me and send me text messages. But that simply doesn't work. I never get phone calls nor text messages, when I restart the phone, I got tens of messages telling me about missed phone calls.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAlright so I'm currently having issues with my phone as every time someone tries to call me, or send me a text message it doesn't go through. However, I'm able to call or send texts messages to them just not the other way around. The only temporary solutions that worked for me so far was restarting my phone but a few minutes later I won't be able to receive calls or texts again.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have bought a galaxy S5 model SM-G900T and i have been using it on my VIVO sim card ( BRASIL ) for about 6 months now, last week it has stopped making and receiving calls or sms, but 4G is working fine. I tried to factory reset, downgrade, upgrade, but still can't make calls.
View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently upgraded from HTC Rezound to Galaxy S5. Never had an issue with the Rezound in making/receiving phone calls.
Last week, noticed that I couldn't make a phone call. Spent an hour on the phone with Verizon tech and they sent me to a local Verizon store for a new sim card. I walked in, told the agent why I was there. He immediately took my phone, changed a couple of settings, and voila, my phone worked again.
Today, same thing. I looked at the settings and they hadn't changed from what he set it to. The only new thing on my phone was the addition of Dashlane, a password keeper program.
I can call out on my phone but it does not ring or display when someone calls me. I do however get a message if one is left but no notification that there is a voice mail ...
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just upgraded from a galaxy S4 to S5 and I'm having big problems with receiving calls and SMS when I am connected to my home WIFI connection.
Only when I turn off wifi on my phone I start receiving the backlog of SMS messages.
Some times I can receive calls when connected to wifi but the SMS messages don't come through until I disconnect.
My wife has also just upgraded from a s4 to s5 but hers appears to be ok.
I have noticed that in more networks/mobile networks/network mode, my wife's gives options of 3G, 4g etc but mine says LTE/WCDMA/gsm which I though was strange as we are both on virgin mobile. I don't think this is the issue though as it's a wifi issue.
I recently bought a second hand s5 gt900 it is unlocked but when phoning it blocked it will not allow me to receive or make calls.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a unrooted S5(SM-G900F) on Lollipop(5.0). All was well but recently I cannot receive calls in any of my apps- Viber/Whatsapp/Kakao/Skype etc. People have been calling me using these apps but it never comes through, it never rings. When I start the app manually I see I have missed calls. Normal calls are fine though.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've just upgraded my Galaxy S II to ICS, and since upgrading I can't receive any phone calls from a specific number. However, I don't actually receive any phone call, just a missed call in my call log, with a weird symbol (attached). I can't find this symbol in the user-manual, or via a Google search.I'm on O2, and the caller has a HTC Desire (Froyo) on Vodafone.
View 7 Replies View RelatedAnyway, last night I set my alarm as I normally do before bed and this morning I over slept by a disgusting amount because somehow all of my apps had spontaneously crashed while I was asleep! The force close notification kept coming up for a number of different applications before I was forced to simply turn it off. When I turned it on again a few seconds later, most of my settings had been wiped along with much of the data kept on the actual phone memory. Some stuff was still there, like all my apps, my connections and passwords, but my home screen was defaulted, as were my message tone, ring tone and input settings. Also gone were any phone numbers I had stored on the phone itself as well as all of my inbox messages.
So, I went into the settings to put my screen lock back on because I noticed that had been reset, too. I did the normal routine, picked the pattern, confirmed it and so on. But after I put my phone down and locked the screen, when I picked it back up again and pressed the home key to activate the screen, it was just unlocked. I didn't have to input the unlock pattern. However, when I went back into the settings to make sure they were all okay, it made me enter the unlock pattern to get into it! How odd.
I have Galaxy S4. This problem started suddenly. I restarted the phone and same thing happened.

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 4S has been working on and off for as long as I've had it. There are times when I can't make or receive calls or send or receive texts. When I attempt to make a call, it never rings and when I try to end these calls, it doesn't register that the call has ended. People receive these calls but when they answer, there is silence. If people call me, I don't get any notification of this.
When I send texts, the loading bar at the top of the page never reaches the end - the same things happens: people receive the texts but when they reply it never reaches me.I have replaced the phone and it did t make a difference. I am with Vodafone and I'm always in full reception when this happens. When I connect to wifi, the text messages (but not missed calls) come through.

I have an iPhone with sprint, and it has worked more than amazingly prior to this. It wasn't until last night around 12am that this started. I have had the phone for 4 to 5 months now. The bars in the top left are flat and occasionally one will pop up. I can t make calls and texts are slow to or just don't send at all. I was messing around on my download app in the browser and it closed and then thu problem arises. I have deleted the app even turned on and off my phone several times and turned airplane mode on and off several times. Please help:/ this is not an issue with location, and everytime I make calls it just says "calling mobile..."

View 2 Replies View RelatedI can make calls but I cant receive all of the calls. What happends is the phone rings then you swipe the screen to receive then there is nothing but the call has been answered, sometimes(not all) I can put on the microphone to fix this but this does nt work all the time.
The person is on the other end and No "mute has not been hit" the only thing i can think of is a loose wire internally or a software problem?? that does not mean its right, hence I am asking?

So I received the new Fi Sim card as the one in my nexus 6 wasnt compatible with the Nexus 6p. Went through the activation etc and I receive calls on wifi but not make calls on wifi or cellular, data is brutally slow. Waiting to hear back from Google on this.
View 10 Replies View Relatedwhen I make a call it immediately says "call ended/closed" and when I enter *110# I get this message: Connections problems or invalid MMI-code.When I restart my phone, maybe repeting that process like 10 times then I can send/recieve calls/texts, but only for a brief moment. Before it wasn't as bad... I always got the Connection problem message after a I've made a phone call. But now it is bugging me 24/7.I have resetted my phone, I've even upgraded it. Still nothing.I have changed network operator. Still nothing.I have inserted my phone card into another phone and with that phone I have no problems. So I suspect it most be my phone's fault. I have a Xperia x10.
