I'm using the factory email app on my S5. It reflects that I have 2 new emails, never showing more or less, regardless of reality. This phone is 7 months old, and its my first issue. I have my own domain, and I am using an IMAP account. My gmail and yahoo email work fine.
View 3 RepliesI have a Galaxy S2 in and exchange 2010 server organisation. All syncing works great contacts tasks calender etc.When configuring i received a mail saying i could send sms messages from my outlook client on my desktop.
All my sms's I receive on my phone show in the inbox of my outlook, (So that part works).When trying to send an SMS from my outlook(Desktop PC) it gets to my galaxy s2, in the mail outbox but doesnt send.why is the text message in outbox on phone and not messaging outbox?If i go into the mail outbox on the phone and try to send it manually it still doesn't send.not sure where to look to solve the issue. (Phone settings or exchange settings)?
I have lost my all contacts of BBM 9700, so i m trying to import contacts from my outlook 2007 thru BBM Dektop Manager. While sync it show all my data has transferred. But when i check in my phone, it does not reflect a single contact. Please help me where i am making mistake.

I have iCloud sync activated in both devices, and on my MacBook. I primarily add and view events on my iPhone, but would like the changes to be reflected across all devices.

I setup the default mail client to handle my email, but how to I now disable the Gmail app so I do not receive double notifications?
If it matters I use google as my primary email account.
My iPhone 5 is stuck on Checking for Mail. The other features of mail are working properly on my iPhone. All features of mail are working properly on my iPad Mini and on my MacBook Pro, also, so it appears that the malfunction is isolated to just this one issue and only on one device. I have tried restarting and resetting my iPhone to no avail. When you view your email through the preinstalled apps, either Hotmail or Google. When you viewed them and deleted them then return to your email on a PC/Desktop the emails you've deleted are still there?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have created an email account with settings that I know are correct on the iPhone, the mail icon shows an alert with a number of emails on it so I know the mail settings are OK. When I click on the Mail button instead of being taken to my inbox I am presented with the start of the email setup wizard which I would expect to see if no accounts were set up. If I follow the wizard and complete my settings I'm told that the account already exists.How can I get past or cancel the wizard?

If I send an email (exchange) from an area with marginal service, the email will get stuck in the outbox.It will not send when I enter an area with "good service." e.g. my house with wifi, or anywhere in town with good 3G.I cannot delete the emails from the outbox. It states "email cannot be openned it is currently being sent."I get errors every minute that says "X" emails cannot be sent. Where X is the number I tried to send while out of service area.The error it says is connection error. I am the exchange server admin, and all the settings are correct. If I go back in and try to re-enter the settings, it doesn't fix it. I am forced to delete and re-enter the account with the same settings. I have had to do this 4 times now (I have had the phone since Sep. 13th). I have 23 other phones currently running on the server, and I personally have had 2 others (HTC Evo Shift and Palm Pre) that did not have this issue.

I have set up my X10 to download emails, which it does successfully, however it deletes them of my service provider's mail server so that they don't come through to my PC any more. I have selected both options on the X10 in "Delete email from server" ie "Never" and "When I delete from Inbox", but each has the same result.

I just bought Nokia E72, we are using Exchange server 2007 on our office. Emails, contacts and calenders etc get synced with our exchange server but e72 shows connected but the emails or the contacts des not get downloaded (synced). I tried this with E71 same problem. But on iphones and android etc. based handsets it works absolutely high.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have restored my blackberry 9900 bold backup last night and sincd then i am unable to use my yahoo account on bb, i can receive the emails but cant reply it .... when i try to reply a new window open but on blackberry menu there is no option of send.... and its only happening in Yahoo.... I can use my gmail account and Mail Xchange accounts but the problem is only with yahoo.

Either on my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 with IOS 5.1 when Mail is open in background iCloud push emails aren't working, if i double tap the home button and close Mail App email notification works correctly again.
It seems like Email App is freezing in background, anyone else is having the same problem with iCloud email push service?
I have several mail boxes on my phone. Unless I check each mail box besides the primary Inbox I'm not aware someone has sent me an email unless I check the individual box. How can I change my setup to be notified when all new mail arrrives.

I just updated my 9550's OS to the leaked .428 and the transition was fine besides one issue. The e-mail icon is stuck on my screen. I've read a few threads with this issue and tried every fix they had, nothing has worked. I think I've found the cause of the issue, but don't have a resolution. When I loaded the OS, I had two new Facebook messages. When the OS loaded, the OS recognized them as e-mails until I activated the Facebook app. When it loaded, the Facebook icon popped up on the homescreen, but the e-mail icon didn't disappear.
Some steps I've taken to try to resolve the issue:
1) Check all message locations, including SMS, MMS, BBM, e-mails, etc. There are no new messages anywhere.
2) Deleted both e-mail accounts from my phone, didn't take it away.
3) Backed up my data and wiped/restored.
4) Deleted Facebook as an app, then backed up the data and wiped/restored. Even without Facebook as an app the e-mail icon is still there.
5) Went to Options, Advanced Options, Host Routing Table, Register Now.
6) Went to Options, Advanced, Service Book, deleted my e-mail from there.
I've been using my N8 with my virgin mail account happily for about a year. Recently I've found that outgoing messages are getting stuck in the outbox. They sometimes send (several days later) after I have restarted my phone. I thought I would try removing the mail box and starting again, after a couple of attempts the mail box was removed, but when I tried to set it up again.
It seemed to hang in the middle of the task and I ended up with a mail box with a string of hexadecimal numbers as the mailbox name. Now I cannot remove it : whenever I try to remove it, I get as far as 'removing mailbox' and then it just hangs there (have left it overnight). Possibly related, I have had a couple of messages recently about phone memory being full, but if i look at it through file manager it has 116MB free, and nothing in there which looks like it could obviously be removed.
I've had the Motorola Atrix for a few days now and I've found out that when I compose an email or try to reply one using the default app it gets stuck in the Outbox folder. I didn't experience this bug with Gmail.

I searched this forum and looked through dozens of topics, but none seemed to quite fit my circumstances.What I do is, if I get an email on my iPhone while I'm away from home and my wireless network, I read and answer it with the iPhone. Then when I get home, I open Mail on my laptop and it "gets" the same email, marked as unread with no record of a reply. Perfectly natural.Then I plug in my iPhone and it syncs - I do specifically see the "Syncing Mail accounts" portion on iTunes - but the emails on my laptop remain unread and the reply email does not appear in the sent mail folder. That hardly seems synced to me, and I'm not sure what's causing the problem.
