I was using the Memo app today, following a recipe I had saved there. Abruptly, everything I had in the app disappeared, including the recipe I was using.I've tried everything I can think of to recover those files, but nothing has worked so far.I had a LOT of important information in there! Passwords, reminders, lists.
I really screwed up and had to do a factory reset so I lost my apps and all my settings. The only thing that I see is the Memo app. The Restore has recovered most of my data. What's missing is all the memos that contain a ton of important info. What do I need to do to recover the data? The data was not restored through a restore from backup.
I recorded a memo today that did not save. I pressed paused and saw a 48 minute recording. I closed out of the app and then the recording was not saved when I looked again. Is there any way to recover the voice memo?? I have an iPhone4S
I have a Blackberry Curve 8530 which I was working fine with 250 contacts and 20 memos. I just updated my software to 5.0 1596 and when I was synching my blackberry with my computer I got the following message " The following changes from address book microsoft outlook will be applied t your device data in address book - 233 additions". When I click accept the sync stops and I got an error message - 0x80040fb3 and I only have 4 contacts and no memos.
I just came from a iPhone and I would just ask siri to remind me stuff like wake me up in 20mins or at 4pm remind me to pickup milk. Then at the 4pm the phone would beep and I would be reminded. I can't find any such feature with the S6. Sure it has a memo feature but it doesn't go off like a alarm or a couple of beeps to remind me to do it. Whats the point of having a memo feature if it actually doesn't remind you, and I don't think about checking my memos ever.
As the title states, I noticed yesterday that new/updated contacts and memos are not syncing back and forth between my hosted Exchange server and my BlackBerry. I confirmed that they're syncing fine between PC's through the Exchange server, but nothing is being pushed or pulled from my BlackBerry.
I called my host last night, and they got me to go in and update some settings. Under the DNS Manager they got me to 'Restore Defaults' on MX (Mail Exchanger). The two that I circled in the picture below were missing until I did the restore.
So that was last night, and the syncing is still not happening between my BlackBerry and the server. I also confirmed (funny how tech support never asked me this) that wireless reconciliation is enabled for both contacts and memos. When I did the restore it did say that it could take an hour to take effect, and sometimes up to 48 hours. Maybe I just need to wait? It's been about 14 hours now.
Oh and side note, my howardforums subscription email notifications conveniently stopped as soon as I did this. I very much doubt that it's related, as all other email is being received fine.
I got some REALLY important voice memos im trying to get on my pc. I heard the best way was to sync it and include voice memos so it gets uploaded, but when I plug in my iphone it says "The iphone was synced with another Itunes library. Do you want to erase this iphone and sunc with this Itunes library" then it says erasing and suncing will replace the contents of the iphone with the contents of the itunes library. Now I REALLY need to get those voice memos on my PC, but I don't wanna risk losing them?
I have been recording an audio journal and now I want to get these off of my iphone to transcribe, When I synce where do my voice memos go? and where can I save them and in what format?
I did a wireless OS update recently and now my memo pad and tasks icons are gone. (I don't know for sure if the update wiped them out, but that's my only guess.)I really need to get them back.I've done some searching and what others have tried isn't working for me. They aren't just hidden, they aren't showing on the 9700 as installed apps, and they don't show up in the application loader in desktop manager on my computer. I'm not sure what else to do.Is there a way to do an OTA install?
Is there a way to download memos from the memopad? I have several speeches and comment memos that I need to make hard copies of and also would like to be able to expand the text on WORD. I cannot find where the memos are backed up in a format that would allow me to further utilize them.
I am trying to access my memos from my computer so that I can save them to the computer and back them up. When I plug my BB into my computer though all I see is the contents of the memory card and there are no memos on there. I guess the memos must be stored into the hard memory of the BB, but I cannot figure out how to access it.
Is there anyway I can retrieve my contacts and memos if I dont have my blackberry? I want to put them in a temporary phone till I get another blackberry.
When i write a note in the memo pad- save it- its not there. When i go to options it is showing the number of the entries but no notes. What can i do? Is there any update for that?
I have tried to transfer all the voice memos to my computer no go there is way more then 30 that transfered why is this so complicated - how do I go in and grab them via the windows pic transfer file transfer box that appears.I can not do anything with the iphone that seems to be defective - what a shame.I need my mothers voice off the iphone and saved to the computer she's not well. Someone try to help with this.I wish there was someone to call - not at this time of night - not even in a province thats 3 hours behind they pretend at the store they dont know how?
When I first got my Iphone, I was able to record my professor's lectures and sync them to my Itunes. After the up date to the new software on my phone and my Itunes, I haven't been able to sync my voice memos. Does this have to do with the new updates or did some settings changed on my phone that need to be fixed?
I recently updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1.1. Instead of hooking it up to my iMac and updating it through iTunes,I just updated when my phone showed a notification in my System Prefrences app; hooking my phone up to a power source and connecting to Wi-Fi.When it was finished updating, everything seemed to have worked like a charm. That is until I checked my Memos. The 15 memos I had on my phone, all of which were rather important to me, were gone.I was pretty surprised and angry to see that the update deleted all of them. I don't remember this happening with previous updates.Did I not update my phone correctly and that's why they are gone? Is there any way at all to get my memos back?
how to remove the voice memos app off my iphone, i got that app that i hardly use and find it difficult even to take it off from my pc itune - devices - app.....i even went on my computer in the itune folder in media app and couldn't find the voice memos to delete....so how do i delete apps off from the iphone attached and remove said app from my computer....i could also remove Internet app and stock app for i hardly use them at all?
My Blackberry Curve has developed a frustrating problem. A couple of weeks ago, the screen started fading out to white and wouldn't go back to normal operating screenThe only way to get it back was to connect it to my Mac and restart via BlackBerry desktop. All fine, but it has continued to do this on a daily basis. If I am on a call, the tell tale sign is a loud crackle, then bang - have lost all connection and the white screen of death is back. Taking out the battery and restarting doesn't fix it.I backed up my files last month and when I'd restart it, everything was restored. Until this week, that is. I can't restore my memos from the backup file and three games have also disappeared (not that they matter ... much!).
When I go into the back file, the memos is in grey (where you should be able to tick the box), with a note at the bottom that says: "Dimmed entries are read-only data bases and cannot be restored."I know there must be a way to get then back, but I'm at my wit's end. I've got some important notes on them and want them back before I replace my Curve.
I have memos on old blackberry curve 8320 that i need to transfer to my new blackberry curve 8320. i used the switch device option in the blackberry desktop software and it copied every thing except the memos. now there isn't even a memo pad icon on my new blackberry. I tried to re-sync the new blackberry from one of my old back ups but memos are dimmed out as read only files that cannot be restored.
When I press SAVE in the menu for Memo Pad, my BB returns to the Memo App but the memo I have just written and attempted to save is gone. It doesn't seem to have been saved either, for I can't find it when I search. I have a BB 9530 Storm running 5.0.0.328.
Lost all my downloaded pictures that people sent me and my screeen shots ?I know for a fact I didnt delete them all i did was shut off my phone and charge it like usual.
I was just wondering , for those college students out there with an iPhone, how much of a quality is the recordings of lectures via iPhone Voice Memos? Do you guys save the lecture files on your computer HD? In a standard lecture hall, does the lecture appear faint when heard on the iPhone and is the iPhone able to pick up the voice of your professor well?
Last night I updated from 4.5.0175 to 4.5.0186 and all my memos were deleted. Is there any way to recover them? I am desperate! Also - is there any way to prevent this from happening again?
