I have a lot of content on my s5 in my memo and alarms, lists etc. I really need these backing up! I asked in the Samsung store and searched online and still haven't managed to do it! Samsung guy said to download an app, which I couldn't find, then I also tried backing it up on family, to no avail!
View 1 RepliesAround a week ago I used a friends 'selfie stick'. The same day I was walking around Windsor and noted that the phone had powered down. I tried pressing the power key, but the phone did not turn on. I took the battery out, replaced it and then the phone came back on.
The problem now seems to reoccur when I have put my phone in my back pocket and either walk some distance, or keep it in my back pocket in the car (for some reason).
How do I determine what's on my SD CARD.

1. Is there any automated way to alphabetize my folders and their contents?
2. I cannot move icons between pages. I tried swipe across or drag the icon to the boundaries between the pages. No luck.
I have backed up from my phone to SD card and I would like to see what I have stored on it but don't know how.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got a S6 Edge. In the app drawer there are four folders (Google, Verizon, Samsung, Tools and Amazon) with apps in them. I would like to delete one of those folders and put the apps individually into the app drawer. It won't let me do this. I can move apps from the app drawer to the home pages but not the other way around. Is there a way to do this?

I recently installed the OTA Android 6 update.All seems fine, except today I wanted to copy some of my photos off the phone and put them onto my PC. But when I connect the phone to the pc all it shows is the icon of the Nexus 5 but does not show any folders nor files! Any hidden setting somewhere that I have to enable or is there something else I need to do? BTW, I have my phone unlocked (not rooted) when I connected the phone so it is unlocked while connected to the PC via the USB cable.

I'm stuck! The only ROM that seems to work now is 5.1.1, all others get me stuck in a bootloop in which I must use TWRP to flash back to 5.1.1. How to be able to go back to a stable 5.0.2!
my s6 is new upon 2 days of using it it gave me that problem at random where the back(return) key just works on its own,I brought my phone to the seller and they supposedly fixed it but now im having this issue again,I live in seychelles and I bought this phone from UAE. I cant restart, turn off, use any apps at all, I cant even get into the settings to factory reset anything. I did manage to do a clear up yesterday but it didn't seem to work. I have had the phone for 4 months. I have no insurance on this device, is it even worth taking it into a store?
