Galaxy S5 :: Getting Block Pixelated Images On Camera?
May 16, 2014
First one the camera died and the new one is showing the same weird pictures. When taking any picture, and zooming it in either on the phone or my desktop computer, it's as if the image is missing information in the picture. Kinda almost looks like blocks of the image put together really pixelated when zoomed in. I'm attaching a pic of on top of the empire state building and at my local fishing spot for you guys to check. This happened on both phones.
Had the G4 for a few days and Ive taken a few pictures today with the camera. They seem fine as they are however when I zoom into the photo by pinching out, the image becomes very pixelated. Not what I would have expected from a camera that seems to be widely reviewed as being one of the best in a smartphone.
I took the images in automatic mode. Is there something I need to do in the settings or manual mode to lesson the pixilation on zoomed in images?
My understanding is that the higher the megapixels, the less pixelated the image will be when zoomed in. This has a 16mp camera which I would have thought should result in minimal pixilation on zoomed in images, however they seem just as pixilated as zoomed in images taken with 8mp camera's or even lower than that.
My iPhone pictures on apps like Facebook, Instagram, etc.. are appearing pixelated/low quality or in blocks?? I've never had this happen before and it's really annoying me. My network is usually on E or 3G and I barely use wi-fi?
I have a S2 on UK Vodafone contract even though I am currently living in NZ. My phone is a UK model.UK Vodafone have terminated the Passport service as of 1st November which means I now go on to NZ roaming which at 1.65/NZ$3.30 a minute is somewhat steep - I also pay that amount for the incoming call.I now need to block all incoming calls on my phone so as I am not tempted to answer calls at odd times of the day or night (quite hard when we are 13 hours ahead of UK and totally out of sync with them) and pay extortionate amounts of money BUT I need to leave the phone available to make and receive text messages. It is not as easy as to just get a NZ phone contract as this was my life line with friends and family in UK until my provider pulled the passport service so need to disable the phone I have.how to do this so as I can still send/receive text but NOT receive voice calls on my S2?
My Iphone 4s keeps resizing my photos down to small poor quality images. I can find no settings to stop it. when I look at the image info in the camera app, it shows them full size, but if I attempt to export them onto my computer in any way (even emailing them to myself) the image size drops from the 3+ meg per image down to 175K per image.
Can anyone tell me where the setting are so I can get the photos off my camera and have them look decent?
Camera Images are not visible in media/picture/camerapictures after doing lot of research i unhide th folder camera in home/user/camera it was working perfectly fine , suddently camera stops saving pics in media folder ..... even with fb apps i can't upload the pics because it point to the media folder , which always empty
Just noticed that there is a spot on all my images, in the same location. I had this on my DSLR a year ago and had to get it cleaned. It was an oil spot on the sensor.
one year ago i purchased X2-00 and firmware was V4.80, with that firmware camera view was very crystal clear but as soon as i updated to V8.35 shooting quality of camera became very bad. Those pictures which i shoot was looking very hazy, you can say fuzzy also. It really downgraded the camera quality. Few of my friends are also facing same problem. So, is their any other way to downgrade firmware to old version V4.80? or to release a new one to correct the camera quality?
I've bought a Nokia N79 10 days ago and I have a problem with my camera. I can't find it of high resolution and it seems like it's 2 megapixels not 5 megapixels When I capture the image immediately with one click, the image seems to be blurred (especially when I photograph texts). To make it capture the image properly with clear text, I should keep pressing the camera button till I see the green brackets then take the photo. Is that normal or a problem?? knowing that nokia E71 camera is completely different with clear image although it's 3.2 MP.The same thing happens when I capture anything(especially text as well)on video. Please I need a quick answer because I need to know if this phone is defective.
my Nokia X7 Has 8mp camera but it doesng capture text clear. My friend has a phone with 5mp camera and it captures images crystal clear. What could be wrong with my phone? All settings are set to default.
Can't seem to find it after the update and other users have also reported the same. Why was it removed? Â Or does this mean that there's no need since by default, the Z5 already has a hardware stabilization mechanism (closed-loop actuator) in place?
I've bought a Z5C on release date from the Sony store. I noticed a blur on the left side of the images ( imgur link ) so I went back to the Sony store. The staff said that it might blur out on the sides BUT that it should never be one sided. So I got a new device and this one suffered the same problem but less prominent ( photos from the 2nd Z5C ).
I'm using Z2 for more than a year. My problem is that the quality of front camera's photos are too bad. Yes, it is only 2.2 mp but my previous phone (Samsung Galaxy S2) was not taking pictures as fuzzy as this one although it was 2.0 mp. I'm not sure about this problems duration. I think it was better last year. Thus, maybe upgrading system or something like this affected on camera software. I want to take nice photos with both cameras.Â
Last day my phone freezes and I did a soft reset. After that when i check my photos in camera album, the images are not there. But I can see the images via camera app. The Images are missing from camera album. When its connected to PC,images are still thr. I have done this steps also...
Turn skydrive off temporarily (Photos > Camera Roll > ... > skydrive settings > Don't upload). Open Nokia Camera app. Tap ... Tap settings. Tap Find photos and video shot with Nokia Camera. Wait until the progress bar disappears. Close Nokia Camera app. Turn skydrive back to on.
So I took the first couple pics with the camera and now I've had a persistent notification (been there overnight at this point) that says "processed 2 of 8 items". Has a progress bar on it and (at this point) yesterdays date.
I bought new Xperia z2.when I bought it,it's android was 4.4.4.and I have a issue wit it's camera.in the center of it's images that I take with z2 camera there is a pink circle.
I've had my N97 for about 6 months and it has been the worst nokia experience. 7 days after purchase, i had to take my device to nokia care for the much documented camera scratch issue. it took a month for them to fix it. my device keeps crashing and freezing every now and then, and tiny scratches are reappearing on the camera lens. now that its out of warranty, i'd need to pay for repairs even though its a knows issue. And there's this weird issue i face every now and then, captured images wont show up in the 'photos' app, although they are visible in file manager. A *¤7370¤ corrercts the problem, but then again the issue reappears in a couple of weeks. Nokia care suggests to reset the device. so its like this:I reset my device every two weeks for it to work correctly. my next device i'm afraid, is not going to be a nokia.
I bought Sony Xperia Z3 Dual 4 days ago and update it . I have one big problem in camera because when i want to record video , after some minutes i receive this message :  "Camera is temporarily unavailable due to high temperature. Please wait for your device to cool down before you can use the camera"
even for rear camera images are noisy in bad quality ||||
My nexus 6p is now about 1 month old and since yesterday i noticed my rear camera has been producing unfocused and blurry images. It also make a little cracking noise when i open the camera app or switch back to the rear camera from the front facing camera. I tried to clean the lens and I even buy fv camera 5 and try manual focus but it did not work. The images produces from the rear camera are now even worse than the front facing camera.
how I can use the remote camera disable on the Maxx?Is this done from a motorola website? Verizon?I need to do this because I cannot have a functional camera phone in the environment where I work.
I would like to download images to my phone e.g. from my Facebook albums. 1. Is this possible from the built-in browser ? I can do it from Opera Mini, but haven't found a straightforward method for the Nokia browser.
2. The images I did download are very small (certainly smaller than the were when uploaded). Is it possible to download the full-sized image ? If not, is this a phone/browser or Facebook limitation ?
I just got the S6 last week, and I've been using Firefox on it because I'm more familiar with the tabbing system it uses after using iPhones for 8 years. But when I try to save an image by long holding and clicking save image it just vanishes. I checked the gallery, Google photos, even went into My Files and checked images and downloads and checked Firefoxes downloads but it's as if it didn't save at all. So I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or where these images could possibly be going.
I know this feature was available, but kind of hidden, on previous Galaxies and my HTC as well. I can't seem to locate how to do this on the Galaxy S6?
