Galaxy S5 :: Emojis On Instagram And Facebook
May 4, 2014I just got an S5 and don't see how the emojis that are stock on the phone in the message app are available on the keyboard on facebook or instagram. am I missing something?

Jul 31, 2015So I have this increasingly annoying issue with the emojis on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S6). I am able to use and see them in every app except messaging. I send emojis in a text, I can see them and so can the person receiving them. However, when they send emojis to me, I cannot see them, it just comes up as '??'. I have changed the input mode and tried all 3 modes (GSM alphabet, unicode and automatic) but none of them work. My Android version is 5.1.1 ....

Nov 23, 2015I've had my Galaxy s6 for about a week now and I've been very satisfied with my phone. One weird thing I've noticed...Instagram seems to be using a ton of my battery life. I'll usually get around 16 hours or so on my battery, which I'm definitely satisfied with, but when I check my battery stats at the end of the day, Instagram will have used over 15%+ of my battery life. I have tried closing the app every time I switch out of it. I've tried Force Stopping the app, but it seems to continue to drain the battery in the background.
Could this be a glitch with the battery stats? Or is Instagram really using that much battery life? It's by far my largest consumer of battery and I hardly use the app..it's a bit frustrating. I don't want to uninstall it.I have been vigilant about keeping Instagram closed and it still seems to be using up my battery. The problem is that it seems to be using battery (assuming my battery stats are correct) even when I don't have it open.
Galaxy S5 :: Instagram Pictures Not Saving To Gallery?
Oct 18, 2015I was running out of storage, so I moved/deleted some pictures and albums, via My Files, and inadvertently deleted the instagram folder in my gallery. Now, none of the pictures I upload to instagram are being saved! I uninstalled, and re-installed instagram. Re-started my phone, but still not saving... i even created a new folder entitled Instagram, but it won't save there. I don't know what else to try.

Jul 10, 2015So this just started happening about a week ago and its really annoying! My instagram and snapchat will not refresh or load at all unless I turn off my wifi and use my data. I've tried restarting my phone and resetting it by taking out the battery and stuff but nothing works.
So to make it clear the apps work while using Data but does not work when Im using my WiFi. And just last week I could use my WiFi for the apps and now i cant. I haven't updated my phone at all since then either.

Sep 4, 2014After updating Android to 4.4.3 on ATT, when I send out a text with an emoji the text sends with the emoji and then another sends without an emoji directly after it. For example if I sent out a text that said: The HTC is cool.Texts would send saying:

AND:
The HTC is cool
This is the stock HTC Messaging app, using the swiftkey pro keyboard. None of this happened on 4.4.2. I also should mention that I am using the ART developer runtime, but I don't see that making a difference.
HTC One M7 :: Adding Emojis Changes Character Limit
Dec 28, 2013I have a HTC one and after what I assume was a whole system update (around 2+ weeks ago) it gave me the emojis/emoticons on the standard keyboard instead of just the smileys. Usually I have a character limit of 160 on the normal text messages but as soon as I add an emoji it cuts it to 70.
I've read somewhere that adding an emoji means all characters double, cutting it nearly in half, but the thing is, it was only a couple days ago that it started cutting down to 70. I was putting emojis in and it was only taking one character, and not changing the overall character limit.
I was wondering whether there was the possibility to change the sms formatting so emojis will only take one character and not change the overall count?
