If I click on show all pics I see them but I can't get them to the card no matter what I try. Move says "up" and that's it. I see memory card but can't reach it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedA configuration snafu sent pictures to a folder in Device Memory. (Device Memory/Home/User/Pictures) All my previous pictures went to memory card. (Media Card/Blackberry/pictures) I am not able to move the pictures from the Device Memory folder to either the memory Card or to my PC. Normal "Move" and PC downbload procudes don't work (I can't get to the Device Memory folders via my PC, and the Blackberry won't let me move from the Device memory to the Media Card.) These pictures will be lost if I can't move them. I don't want to email them. How do I move the pictures in Device Memory/Home/User/Pictures to either the Media Card or to my PC.
View 4 Replies View Relatedis it best to try to move most apps whenever you have the chance to the sd card rather than to the phone memory. Today I tried moving instagram and fb messenger to the sd card from phone memory and when I tried opening those apps they froze where I had to remove the battery . After I removed the battery they started working fine .. Any benefits into moving apps to sd card ?? or should I try to leave all the apps on phone memory ..
View 21 Replies View RelatedI am currently using the m8 and its a great companion . just that i am worrying about the space. When i look at the "apps" (settings > apps> downloaded) i realised that there is still memory taken up in the phone storage although i have moved it to the sd card ( selecting "move to sd card" after tapping the app ) . So is there any way of moving the memory in the phone storage to the sd card such that no remaining memory is left in the phone storage?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Sprint S5 running stock Lollipop. I have moved any apps that can be to the SD card. Anytime those apps are updated, they move back to the device storage. I got this phone shortly before Sprint pushed the Lollipop update so I cannot say for sure if I was having this issue prior to Lollipop.

Or, will I need to delete the apps and reinstall them again to the data card? I've attempted to find a move option per downloaded app but do not see such an option.

I rebooted the phone, restarted it, pulled the battery and tried an SD card that I knew was good, and also an external USB drive, nothing worked.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo far, I have had nothing but problems since I upgraded from S3 to S6. I am going through the tedious job of redownloading my S3 apps. Several are duplicated on my Home Screen. I don't want them there, but I can't move them. Apps were easy to move on the S3. Is this a problem with the S6, or has the method of moving apps changed? There is nothing in the User Manual...
View 3 Replies View RelatedDo I really need to reserve before it becomes an issue. I have a fair amount of free and paid apps, probably between 15-20. Right now, I am at 86 MB remaining. How low have some of you gotten before you notice any kind of problems? I have an 8GB SD card for pics, music, etc., so plenty of room there.
I'm a little surprised for as advanced as this device is that you only get 256MB of space (much less than that, really) for applications. Kinda reminds me of the problem the Nintendo Wii had, where they had an SD card slot, but you couldn't save and programs on it until they did a firmware update later on.
I recently purchased a 64GB SIM card for my Samsung S5 as I've ran out of space on my phone storage.
However, I am trying to use the "move to SD Card" for each app inside the application manager. However, that option is greyed out.
How I can resolve this? The SD card storage is not useful if I can't move apps to it.
Is there a way to move installed apps to the internal 12gb of storage? If I go to manage the app and click "move to sd card" I get an error saying there isn't enough space. I don't have an external sd card in the phone, so this may be why. The problem is I don't want the apps going to an external card, I want to use up the internal storage.
On my nexus s, the button said "move to usb" instead of "move to sd"...
don't say things like, 'why do you need more than 2gb for apps' or 'buy an sd card'.
i have recently bought a 9300 curve 3G , the memory soace in blackberry apps world on the homescreen , when i try to download a new app it shows that i dont have enough memory space in it. appahrently it apperars that the apps are getting stored on the device memory and not on the memory card. i want to transfer the existing appps to memory card and also want that in future all apps by default get sored on memory card and not on the device. how to do these two settings.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia 2330 but the screen recently broke. All I can see now is roughly the top third of the screen. Obviously I need a new phone but unfortunately my contacts are saved to the phone, not the sim. Could somebody please spell out how to move all contacts from phone memory to Sim memory, bearing in mind that I basically can't read what's on the screen. In other words, if I have to scroll down, please say how many times I have to press down and so on.

View 2 Replies View RelatedJust updated from Ovi Maps 3.03 to 3.04 and my E55 device memory went down by 10Mb. Why is this? It's an update! The size of the installers differs by only 500kb.Every time I update the maps app, my device memory just shrinks away until I have to reset the phone to reclaim the memory.Do the updates actually replace the old files or just add bloat? Also had to re-download and re-install all maps and voice guidence (to SD memory) after the upgrade.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy daughter's S5 (AT&T, stock) is low on storage... I think about 400-500 Mb free. Two problems that I'm not sure if they are related.
First... Trying to free-up space. First thought was to move pictures from the phone memory to the SD card. Using the "My Files" app I always get a "Failed to Move" error message. Also, in the application manager, unable to move any apps from phone to SD card, even those where is shows the move to SD as an option.
Second.. Can't uninstall an app. When I select uninstall I get the "uninstalling" message but it never finishes.
So... unable to move stuff to SD card and unable to uninstall apps. I'm not sure if the phone needs a certain amount of storage for any file operation, whether it be moving files or uninstalling apps. If so, it's a catch-22... can't free up enough space to allow the file operations.
I tried a wipe of the partition cache, but doesn't work.
I have been traveling for 8 weeks and have hundreds of photos and videos on my s5 internal memory. Unfortunately I went swimming with my phone. I plan on buying another s5. Is there any way of transferring the internal memory module to a new phone and hoping that it's not also water damaged? I really want the photos from my trip. I am confident repairing phones.
