Eseries / Communicators :: E7 Lock Key Switch Does Not Work
Oct 9, 2011Lock key stopped working during some update today. I installed the phone from scratch and installed anna over previous os.At sometime on the process lock key stopped working. It does not work neither as led torch switch.I have found no place to change this key behaviour.

Aug 6, 2012Yesterday I wanted to unlock the phone and unlock switch literally jumped out. It doesn't seem to be damaged in any way. I tried to put it back without any sucess. Phone is still under warranty, but since I use it alot and according to my previous experience with nokia service in my country, it can take up to two or three weeks, if and how could I put the switch back myself?

Nov 17, 2010My phone has switched off, takeout memory card and it doesnt start anymore. Vibration comes, but display only boot until nokia welcome screen then keep on flashing white screen and no any further actions.

Mar 2, 2012I did a hard reset on my phone today as my phone would freeze at times but it seems that it has given me new problemsFirstly, Everytime I restart the phone, the system error message comes up on the homescreen, I would click ok but it comes up 3 or 4 more timesSecondly, I cannot access my contacts at all, whether I try accessing it from the menu or from a shortcut I have on the homescreen. The software is Symbian Anna, I understand that there is a Belle update but it is not yet available for the phone that is on the network that I am on (which is network Three)I have had this phone since september 2011 and it is under warranty. This is the first time I have encountered a problem.Other than that, everything else works fine; I can install apps and make calls and use the internet etc. I just want to get rid of the system error message, and have access to contacts without having to send the phone off for repair!

Apr 9, 2011So of course there's switch mode from work and "play". I have this issue where when I switch from one the theme changes and if I switch back the theme doesn't change. I thought this would be fix, but I guess I was the only one with this issue. Just updated to .54. I'm of course not going to do anything about it I'll just work with it. Seeing that nothing else is wrong with my phone but that. Which is GOOD. Anyway wanted to see if and one else has this issue. May 8, 2010I bought an E72 a few weeks have simply love it.However this morning I decided to transfer some photo's to my computer. I turned off the phone removed the memory card and later on I put the memory card back and tried to switch the phone on.

Nov 28, 2011Ever since I have bought Nokia E7 it had almost full phone memory. I've done many hard resets and after every one the situation is the same. With no applications instaled it had 35 MB of free phone memory. After I install Anna upgrades 1/2 and 2/2 it's memory is reduced to about 5 MB. When I look details in phone manager, it shows me that there is 410 MB of "other files". That is impossible since there are no files on the phone after hard reset. And I can't find those files anywere on the phone.

Jul 24, 2011I took my Nokia E5-00 to unlock it.The display showed the normal screen you see, when the phone is locked.However there was a big black square right in the middle of the screen AND the phone wasn't reacting to inputs.It did not look like a failure of the display itself.Therefore I believed it might be a problem with the OS.Trying to solve it I removed the battery and installed it again a few minutes later.Since then I was not able to switch the phone on any more. It is just doing nothing. Pressing the on/off - button, loading the battery, connecting it to a pc, checking the SIM and SD-card do not make the phone show ANY live sign.Even my PC (Windows 7, connected via USB 2.0 ) does not react to the E5-00 any more.
