My phone recently begin to beep/vibrate/alert me, even light up around the navigation pad. When I look at my phone nothing new is there.. I can't figure out why it is beeping.
View 1 RepliesMy phone beeped twice then vibrated twice then shut off like as if the battery died well did this while it was plugged in the charger and then it wouldn't turn back on not even the charge screen, well I did what most would do first pull the battery and put it back in. Tried a different charger, then tried with charger plugged in and battery pulled, nothing Worked.
Then I pulled the sd card and the sim card then plugged it in without the battery installed so no battery, no sd card, no sim card booted to a screen showing battery missing. Put the battery back in and it still showed the battery missing so I unplugged the charge cord pulled the battery again installed the sd card and sim card put the battery back in plugged the charge cord back in... now recognizes battery and is charging. Will see if it keeps a charge after it gets a full charge.
I have a E52 and he lights al day up,the 2 volume buttons on the side of the phone,the 2 selection buttons and the 2 phone buttons(red&green),and the screen is on you see the light on the side of the screen,he is stil black but you can see he is turned on).The phone is working normal and down everything you ask,but the batteries is empty after 3 day's because the light is always on.
There is no message or missed call,so i don't see what the problem is.When you push a button the phone gets complete out and after a few minutes the light is there.
why my Cliq 2 (Android 2.2, T-Mobile) would emit 3 short beeps randomly. There's nothin in the notification area. I have auto-sync turned off for all Google apps.This happens even on WiFi. GPS, Bluetooth turned off as well. There's no missed call or unread text message. I have a feeling that it's related to voice/data signal loss. Is there any way to turn this off ? I have looked at all settings that I could think of.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI updated my phone to latest Nokia Belle OS, but since then I have noticed that whenever I touch the phone it vibrates, Previously it was not there, only in outdoor mode or meeting mode (profile I am talking about), if I select vibration on then the phone vibrates, but now all the time it vibrates, It is very irrititaing for me.. I don't want my phone to vibrate whenever I am in home. But that option is not there, also E7 with belle has many changes, am I missing something? I have checkd in the notification area and silent option is there, but it is silent for the entire phone, I want my phone to ring but not to vibrate.
Can I do that again in Belle?
I've bought this phone regardless of those bad things that has been mentioned in those threads, because I want it and it relatively cheap anyway.My E6 is almost bug free, yes almost.
1. After unboxing, I update the firmware to v22.
2. Quickly do "Delete Data and Restore".
3. Installing Remind Me.
4. Done.
I did not experienced the self restart, the disfunctional pick call after screen lock, etc. My battery also lasted more than one day, it is almost 1.5 day now with 2 bar left in heavy usage (wifi, bluetooth, angry birds, fruit ninja, messaging, some calls).So, what bugs left?
1. The keypad lights is turned off when the display brightnes is less than the mid point of the slider.
2. The notification lights in the middle of dpad is still barely visible even when I use the Remind Me, faulty design in my opinion.
3. The mail widget sometimes did not update the mails that displayed, even though the mail client is already showing the new mails. I need to remove then add the widget again to fix it or restart the phone..
If i made a call to someone or received any call, after 1-2 minutes talking, then the call suddenly disconnected.. It happened so many times..Is it normal or something wrong somewhere?
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy K850i has brod (vibrates and blue ring & keypad only lightup - it repeats these). I upload /boot folder from backup, but problem same then I reflash main, fs, finalize with a2uploader, but problem still same. Phone not dropped, no sign of hardware fault.

I Have gone through the C memory and the below are the only items with any significant file size. Config = 86kb, Log = 157kb, Mail for exchange 26kb, Place widget 17kb, Sound files 118kb, adimagetemp 12kb, Bur_debug 43kb, debug.log 21kb, ka3d-log.txt 89kb, MdfpluginArchive.txt 27kb, Everything else is eithr 0 or bytes only, with about three more less than 10kb each.
what I can delete safely. I am no expert, however I do not see why the above quantity should be using up so much on the C memory?
I have taken back to factory settings and transferred data to PC under Nokia Suite Make Space option.
I would like to know if there is any way to disable 3g on this phone? I don't have a data plan and i would like to avoid overages.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI sent my less-then week old E6 in for repair becuase of the restart-problem. I called them on monday, and was told I'd get a call from a cust service rep. I called again today (Thrusday), and was told someone would call w/in 48 hours. Remarkably, I actually received a call.
They could not fix the E6 They offered a new, not-refurb'd N8, and not an E6 as a replacement, citing the N8 as an "upgrade".
Figure that one out.Worst_Service_EVER I do not want the N8, as it has no qwerty keyboard, but that was the only option given. She gave me 2 days to call her back after thinking about it.
Iv been using this phone for like 2 years and its working allright but since today i tried installing NetQin mobile guard on my phone but my phone got stuck and rebooted itself,after that it kept on turning on and rebooting itself.
i tried every method,hard reset,soft reset,taking out the sim card and memory then turning it on but no use! somthing must have gone wrong with the firmware but i cannot reinstall it because when ever i connect my phone with my pc and nokia pc suite,the phone doesnt stop rebooting so everytime the connection also fails.i dont understand that what should i do with my phone,i cannot find any solution to it.
This firmware have fixed very bugs. But one bug added with its new feature: when you have a new SMS or missed call, it appears the name and number of caller. But in right to left languages such as Arabic and Persian, it appears the name from left to right and is not readable.

Now when I try switching it on it will only load and switch off in the middle of the process it will switch off and try switching back on but the same thing happens.

After the trial period got over i purchased a new license and uninstalled the trial version. I installed fresh copy of Kaspersky and now my phone keeps restarting within 15 seconds of swichting on. this goes on for about 3-4 times and then the phone just not start.
