I've created a new mail account and the mail icon shows 3 messages.
Touching the 'mail' icon brings up the usual list of mail services but my new account doesn't appear.
In 'Settings' my new account is there.
Why doesn't it show up in the 'Mail' list?

Apr 5, 2010I have gmail on my 9700 and everytime I send a email it doesnt show up as a sent emal. It doesnt show nothing. I could only see my recieved emails. Also, I noticed Im not recieving emails immediatley on my 9700. It takes atleast five minutes or more after the email has been sent to actually get it on my 9700. Is this normal? I just noticed it took about twenty minutes after an email was sent to recieve it on my 9700?

1) When I have an email, whether my personal or work, and the email contains images, they don't show up on the BB. I know within each e-mail I can ask for the images to show but is there an option somewhere for it to always show? I don't want to have to ask for the images on each e-mail.
2) At the top of the screen, I have the Facebook logo and the the number 2 right before it and it won't go away.I do not have any new notifications from Facebook-I know a red star comes with those to alert me to that.

Jul 4, 2011I had my BB Torch 9800 for few month. Previously used to work fine, all my emails used to show up in message folder. But these days when I receive emails my bb flashes red and it shows on top of the screen emails icon. But when I open my messages folder it shows empty folder without any emails, even though I can see the email icon showing there is emails awaiting. I do aware of this option that, if I press bb menu and then press show all, my email address with my name will show up. With this way I can view received emails. But I don't want to use this option, as I prefer all my emails goes to message folder, that way I can have more space to download other apps.
Note: if i reboot my device all emails shows up in message folder! I don't want to reboot my device everytime I face this problem.

-Email notifications no longer show up on my lock screen or the email tile. They used to, now they don't. All the setting are unchanged.
-I get notifications that my phone is running out of storage space. I'm using 6GB out of 32, AND I have a 32GB card installed.
-Battery drains like someone shot a hole in it. Even plugged in to the USB port on my computer, it's slowly dying. This, of course, makes the back hot to the touch.
-I can't attach pictures to text messages anymore.
I'm not enrolled in any preview program, I didn't install anything strange, I didn't receive any notification updates, just business as usual until things went bad.
If your answer is going to be "hard reset" or something
BB Curve 8520/8530 :: Email Icon Does Not Show Unread Emails
Jun 14, 2010I have searched around and found many problems faced regarding the email icon showing unread emails but in actual fact there are none. My problem however is the opposite of that - there are unread emails but it is not indicating as such.
This is specifically for Gmail as all my other email accounts are showing unread emails just fine. It is a minor issue but it does get on my nerves trying to figure this out.
Recent activities include upgrading OS to OS5 and changing telco, doubt if these are the cause of it. I have tried deleting and creating the email account and battery pull to no avail.

But, I wanna start using it when I send emails from my Blackberry and when I do it says that they've been sent using my Gmail address instead of Crackberry. I want other people to see my Crackberry email. I've gotten it to work for sending from the Gmail website but not from my Blackberry. Any suggestions on how I'd go about changing my sent address?
