View 3 Replies View RelatedI bought an 8520 in Egypt a few weeks ago and used all internet services successfully with a provider there (Mobinil).
I had the PIN freed by Mobinil so I could register it with O2 in the UK, but I'm unable to access internet services although I'm on the correct data plan and my PIN is free to register. The handset works fine for calls and SMS via O2.
i got this curve 9220 couple of days ago now it does not connect to the service provider it keeps searching for network and the antenna signal indicator comes on and off continously hence the moble cannot make or recieve calls

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have jsut bought a Blackberry Curve 8520 and have been having problems with the browser. Please contact your service provider to enable the browser on your device".I have spoken to them twice but they dont seem to know anything as the 2 solutions they have given me do not work!I think my problem lies when i go into Options-Advanced Options-Browser, i have literally nothing in it, whereas my girlfriend has 3 different options.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI don't know if this is possible or not so I thought I would ask here, is it possible to alter the way the menu functions in the blackberry curve? in example, what I want to do is like when I send a sms text message and when I hit the trackball and the menu options come up, the send button is highlighted, and what I would like do is modify it so that the check spelling is highlighted first and then send button is right below it, is it possible to do this or is this an internal Blackberry Software modification?
View 14 Replies View RelatedCan I use my iphone 3gs with another provider?? I now have At&t.
Info:
iPhone 3GS, iOS 5.1
If you had to choose between service providers is any certain one better with the Iphone? Is ATT and Verizon at the top, or is Sprint and other providers good as well?
View 6 Replies View RelatedKnowing the right way to pose this question is probably harder than answering it.I want to use an ATT Nokia 6750 phone in Mexico with cell provider Telcel. I have to unlock the phone. No problem. Lots of places in town will do that for a fee. I also want to buy Telcel's 3G service and use it on the same phone. A possibly uninformed Telcel agent says it's impossible because the phone has ATT's software not Telcel's. I suspect he is wrong.
Will an unlocked ATT phone with a Telcel SIM successfully connect to a 3G network OR is there some Telcel software gatekeeper to prevent this? Do you suppose he is just talking about the Access Point configuration? Any ideas? Partial answers are often helpful it you don't have the full answer.
I am trying to set up my email account on my bold 9780 and it say's I need to contact my wireless provider?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI don't know if this is the right please to post this question. Sorry for the inconvenience.Yesterday my BlackBerry Storm 2 9550 was stolen. I called to my service provider and reported the incident. The IMEI and PIN was linked to my phone line / account. At this time service is suspended.
However, I have a question: Can the BlackBerry be activated with another service provider? Is it useless after i reported? Can I try to contact RIM and lock IMEI and PIN for any kind of future use? I have all that information.
My Carrier: Rogers
Device: 8900
Environment: BES Express 5.0.1
I need to install Device Software 5.0 in order to sync my Public Folders Wirelessly.Rogers does not have 5.0 firmware update. I however found it for the 8900 on Vodaphone UK downloads.
I want to unlock my phone but I'm not sure that it will work. because when we look at the service menu of phone. It write:
[]Network 0
[]Network subset 0
[x]Service provider 0
[]corporate 0
[]Sim 0
in the sim lock menu. And I already take a NCK code by the operator, but the phone doesn't accept.
I bought my iphone online, but it's simlocked. Apparently only the original provider can remove the simlock, but I dont know who it is. Is there a way to discover this provider (through IMEI or other data from the phone)? I am searching for a legal way (which probably involves paying for the unlocking), but it would really suck if I bought an iphone which I can't even use ...

iPhone 4, iOS 5.0.1
I have got Iphone 4, now when i am back in pakistan. Its not working, cant connect to the service provider.Dosn't accepts the sim.
Info:iPhone 4, iOS 5.0.1, Base Board 4.11.08
It's happened before..But then I factory resetted my phone and it seemed alright for a couple of months but it then started back again today.Suddenly at some places I lose network signal (i.e. from my provider) and obviously it should come back when I go somewhere or whatever. But this time it won't even connect. I've shut down my phone, taken out the battery, taken out the SIM card..EVERYTHING. And I just can't seem to connect back to my network provider. (This isn't WI-FI I'm talking about - just basic network. I can't recieve texts, or anything - and everyone one in my house's network is working perfectly fine!)My phone runs on the original launcher and I only have a couple of apps on it (i.e. just normal whatsapp etc. - NO GAMES)It has about 500MB of free space on the SD Card too.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI purchased my BB 9700 on March 2010 in Panama. I live in Venezuela and contracted with a local provider the services for the BB device. Everything went perfect until four weeks ago when I was transferring photos from my BB to my computer and updated the OS. After that I noticed I was not receiving emails not BB messages. I went to the local provider and they tried to fix the problem without success. After two or three attemps they concluded my BB was not recognized. They said that the "edge" was not in capital letters "EDGE" so that meant that I could not get the internet services. I placed my simcard in my wife's BB 9700 and the word EDGE showed up. I placed my wife's simcard in my BB and the word "edge" showed up. The conclusion was that my BB had the problem. So I ended up with a BB that's working like a standard cell phone. The provider told me that maybe BB or RIM could have mistakenly deleted my BB from their system.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI received my unlock code from from my service provider (Vodafone) for my bb 9780, I entered the code in without switching the wireless connections off by mistake, the code entered correctly and the network was didabled but now I cannot get a service from my provider. the signal bar is 4 bars or higher and it displays whichever sim card provider logo.
