Cseries :: Chat Not Working
Feb 13, 2011I've had my Nokia C3 for about two weeks now. I didn't regularly use the chat feature until recently. I cannot log into MSN or ovi chat. When I press sign in it just signs in and I even left it to do it overnight but it still did not log on. I tried numerous times to keep signing in. What should I do?

Every time I try to connect this message always appears "Temporary Network Problem" and "Link Not Available." Only the Bluetooth that works well. Then I have 4 options Continue, Close Connection, View Certificate or Trust Certificate. It doesn't matter which one I select and follow, the message still keeps appearing. The cert is for chat.facebook.com, and then when you select it it saysDigiCert High Assurance CA-3.

Oct 25, 2011When receiving a text message I can see the new message in my inbox but when I open the text message it isn't there, it only shows my last message. If I reply the missing message will then show up in the chat above my reply. A battery pull solves this problem but it only seems to be a temporary fix as it has happened again.
This is on the Torch 9810, 7.0 bundle 1328.

It was then after asking some members about this matter I've just known that any comment I wrote never appeared on their BBs, so nobody ever read any message from me. It happened within Group Chat only. It is completely okay with inter personal chat.
In trying to overcome this problem I have upgraded the OS from the original 330 to 442 and then to 536 without result. Perhaps to change any setting related to this matter?

May 9, 2012Yesterday my touch screen stopped working completely, after restarting my mobile it worked. But the lower half works and upper half doesn't respond. Means if the touch the upper portion the lower portion responds. I tried *#7370# and reinstalling the firmware 7.48 but no use.

Jul 11, 2010I installed Nokia Chat from Ovi store on my phone. When I start the chat, I am shown an option "Get the latest IM service"
When I click this option, I see "Checking for new IM updates" .It keeps checking for updates for a min or so then I get a message 'Error: Unable to complete request. Try Again"
I have a proper wifi and so its not a connectivity issue. Previously I have used Nokia chat and I had all services(gtalk,yahoo etc) but recently I had to format the phone, so had to install chat again.
Can anyone help me with this issue ? How can I get this chat to work ? if there a newer version available which I can install directly rather than looking for services.

Nov 20, 2012For the last 2 months now my FB chat message feature hasn't worked in 3G/wi-fi.I have phoned my phone provider (Orange) and they say there is no fault at their end data wise. I have checked the settings through my Windows Live account that my Facebook account is sync'd/allowed to send messages via chat to my phone.I have checked my FB chat settings to see No settings have been changed disallowing FB chat through my phone. In fact this explains perfectly my problem, as one day FB chat worked perfectly, the next few days it worked intermittently, and then from then on it has stopped working completely. I cannot see any contacts, and my phone says"Cannot Connect to see who's online".
