I was able to watch videos with .flv format in Anna OS, but after upgrade to Belle, I am not able to play the videos.s there any specific video software do I need to install or Belle doesn't support FLV format?

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I had the Z3 for only a few months, everything was working fine. After a few updates it seems as though the videoformat has changed, because I can't import them in any software on my computer. Windows Media Player won't play them, Sony Vegas editing software won't accept it, Avidemux won't convert it. When I open the folders with videofiles from the Z3, no image of them can be displayed. It suddenly seems completely incompatibable with anything on Windows. How do I get to use the stills and video shot with my Z3 again?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am unable to play Windows Media DRM files with Nokia Belle. This feature did work perfectly and without any issue on Symbian Anna SP1 that I was using. This time around I get no picture, just frames and garbled screen. The DRM license is valid, I did re-copy the files to Nokia N8 again since the DRM license was not preserved when I did backup my Nokia N8 before the update to Nokia Belle. There are no issues playing non-DRM files.I already regret upgrading to Nokia Belle due to the technical and user interface issue it already has (why are there two clocks on the main screen ?).I wish that I could downgrade securely back to Symbian Anna.

my phone is disable to open most of formats that are relate to media files, for example :wmv It meaning that my phone just open mp3 files and a few of mp4 files.

I have a BB 9650 with O/S 5..0.0.975.Main issue is that the voice and video of a video file are not in sync. The video plays slower than the voice. I believe that it is true for all video files. They were all loaded via BB Desktop Manager and all the files have the same extensions (MP4). They play fine on my computer.don't tell me to load O/S 6.0. That OS does has so many bugs that it is useless. I have loaded it twice over the course of 6 or 7 months and both times it simply fails to function properly.

Little did I know that the songs were downloaded as rem files and not mp3 format? I am facing an error on some files downloaded from ovi player as- "File format not recognized". I have ovi music unlimited subscription. Although i have tried reinstalling windows media player, Ovi player etc., but those certain files just redownload in few seconds and also they have Unknown Artists and unknown Albums with them. While i have no problems in playing other files , so i don't think this is a codec related issue.

My Nokia N95 has very old firmware v12.0.013 19-06-07 RM-159 Nokia N95 (66.01) and it freezes from time to time which means that I cannot do anything for certain amount of time and I can see Nokia logo on my display. It starts to work after but I tired of waiting for this phone to unfreeze. There is one more problem which I have. I have Garmin mobile XT installed while ago and I am unable to uninstall it. I comes up with error message "Removing Failed" I do not want to drag all this problems back to new firmware. I am IT support so as far as I know the save way of rebuilding for any operating system is to format a drive before you do it. I do not like upgrades which may keep prevous faults.
I have found all necessary guids for update but I am not sure should I somehow clearup everything from its memory and then perform clean firmware installation via NSU.Then I am going to use new NSU to install a new fresh firmware. In case that my phone stop to work I can use 3,*,call (green icon) and hold it. Then turn phone on and release 3 buttons when I get prompt for security code which is 12345 (as I didn't change it).
Do I need to whipe out old firmware before new one is installed? If I do please advise how? I just wanted to add that I have made backup using Nokia PC suit already.Also if there is something what I didn't say in here please advise am I going to install firmware right?
So, I cannot STAND the new SMS format with the 5.0 upgrade...its like BBM, but I want the old SMS back! Furthermore, my "beyond160" app doesn't work with it! Is there anyway to go back to the old SMS format, and if not, any tips on how to get beyond160 to work with this?
