I want view for example avi files on my C6. Therefore I want to install a movieflvplayer recommended by an symbian site[URL]...When I download the .exe file, it gives an error on my C6. This application is not supported by your phone.

The biggest problem is that i cant install any software for my phone, like .sis and .sisx files. I know about the certificate process which is also a problem but my phone cant even get to that. Everytime i try to install an app, opera mini 7 for example, straight from m.opera.com, it just pops up "File corrupted" error And nokia suite, nokia pc suite,... cant sync with my phone, it wont accept any software install from nokia suite ( "file corrupted" ). This really **bleep** me off Java do just fine, but what's the point of having a s60v3 that can only run java apps?

But before buying the app I just want to check whether it suits my needs. So I downloaded a trial version from quickoffice and tried installing. I got "update error" message. So thinking the already installed version is creating problems, I uninstalled the pdf reads from my Phone and then again tried installing the downloaded le 2.5 version. Recently on my vacation Ive realized it's time to reinstall skype after updating to Belle.At first I tried the nokia store client. Skype was there (so its supported for c7??) but after download it didn't initiate install. download error it said. I tried downloading it and installing through ovi suite on my pc but to no avail. It did start the install on the device but then said that this version is not compatible with the device.. ? on nokia store I am of course logged in and it shows apps for my c7 allegedly . I then went to the skype mobile website which didn't even let me download skype but also snarled at me that the device is incompatible.So my question is i guess

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a issue with my N5. I am trying since a week back to install an APK file to my new N5. Ive looked in forums and youtube and dont seem to be able to find a solution to my problem.
I tried to just download different APK installers to my N5 but as they look for the SD CARD and the N5 dont have any it comes up all empty. after a bit of research i found that ES file explorer could do the trick for me, and when i downloaded it i can now find the file with it, but i can not install it. Ive looked at guides that says with Es file explorer i should be able to just double click the APK file i want to install (it comes up as a .zip file) and it should install it for me, but in my case it only opens up the folder and inside i can only find .xml files, no .apk file that i can click on to install.
i found a program called "Wondershare MobileGo for Android" that should do the trick (in another forum thread) but as im at work and i dont have administrator access i cant install anything and would like to be able to solve this problem with just my phone.

Although the .nrw files can be viewed on the phone, they can't be editied, nor can I find any apps for my computer which will open them. Also, the .nrw files are not recognised by websites I've tried to upload them to (Picasa, Facebook etc).
