OS is Mavericks.I want to use internet sharing from my Macbook so that I can connect my iphone to internet through wifi.My phone is not connecting or pairing up with my Macbook. Its showing the name of network but not getting connected. It shows its processing and processing is for ever (Small revolving circle). Iphone is perfectly getting connected to other available wifi networks.

Not Receiving Message Notifications On IPhone Since Syncing MacBook With IMessage?
Jun 20, 2014I recently got a new Macbook and I synced it to my iCloud and iMessage accounts with both my apple ID and my phone number. I got the notification that it was signed into on my Mac and I just confirmed it. I have been able to receive messages on both my Mac and my iPhone, but now I am not receiving any kind of notification on my phone that any messages are being received. I tried logging out of iMessage on my computer and still no luck. How I can fix this so that I can receive message notifications on my iPhone again?

Mar 30, 2012I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1 when it was released. My friend updated his iPhone 4S delayed, yesterday. Before yesterday iMessage worked well between our iPhones.But since my friend updated to iOS 5.1 as well, iMessage does not work anymore between our two iPhones.iMessage works well with all other adresses we both use as well. But only our two iPhones cannot use iMessage anymore.

Apr 7, 2012i have noticed that after switching to ios 5.1 my phone has been acting funny. for example: when i am messaging other iphone users with iMessage, it keeps switching from iMessage to regular text every 2 or 3 messages. at first i thought it was the other person since i am normally within my works wifi network and at my home wifi network, but it seems that this problem only occurs to other people when imessaging with me and not with anyone else. and this problem occurs to me while imessaging everyone, so i have come to the conclusion that the problem must be my phone. i have noticed this problem to occur since updating to ios 5.1. has anyone else experienced this problem? what can i do? i am 2 steps shy of reinstalling my phone.

(iphone display), while on my mac, the call keeps ringing.On the other hand... when I call from my IPhone4 to my mac... the call drops and displays a message (user busy / not available for facetime). When I use fecetime from my IPhone 4 to call friends either to there IPads, IPhones and macīs, the call goes through with out a problem... the same thing using my mac... Could it be the im trying to use the same user ID between my IPhone and mac?, I have my IPhone for facetime under my cel number, and my mac under my email. (Different User ID)... Why cant I get to work it...

Apr 24, 2012I just purchased the new iphone 4s a few weeks ago, and haven't been able to get my Macbook Pro to detact it when I plug the phone into my computer. I've tried multiple usb-to-iphone cords and none of them are working. Neither the computer nor itunes are detecting that a device is plugged in at all.
I've maxed out my photos/videos storage on my phone and have no way to move them from my phone to my computer. I tried communicating to my phone from laptop via bluetooth, but it won't work either (though computer detects phone and vice-versa, the connection isn't successful in the end)
I really want to be able to connect my iphone via usb
My MacBook Pro is OS X Version 10.6.8
Is there a requirement for my macbook to upgrade to another system before it will read my iphone 4? That sounds like a racket to me.

Jun 15, 2012I recently pruchased my first MAC, a Macbook pro. I hooked up my iphone to sync all the music i have on it and the only thing that will transfer is some of my "purchased" songs. Thats about 150 of 650 songs. I have tried selecting "sync all music automatically" but it tells me by doing this i will replace my iphone library with the computer library meaning i will lose on 500 songs. I had a Dell PC before this and never had trouble. It crashed so i am unable to access itunes from that computer.
