BB Software :: Music Store On Playbook Does Not Launch - Blue Screen With No Details
Jul 10, 2012
all of a sudden I no longer can launch Music Store - i click on the icon and I get a light blue screen with no details that stays for about 10 seconds then disappears and the app does not launch?
Is there a way to disable the blue flashing notification light when bridged to a playbook? I clicked through all the settings I couldn't find anything. It's mildly annoying.
I can't remember the account name and password which bind to my n8 mobile, therefore I can't download music any more. I tried to "forgot password", but cannot find back the account name. If I login with other account, I can't download music. What can I do?
I just transferred 250+ songs from my computer to my phone (5230) but only 13 songs maintained some of their information. All the others are missing album art, album names, artists, etc., which were all in place in windows media player, from where I transferred them.
i am using Nokia E7 with symbia Anna, and unfortunately i unistalled Nokia Store from my device by this the store icon from menu has removed. Then I install the store app again on my device but i unable toh launch it as the store widget is missing..
I have a Nokia E63. When I got it I setup my Gmail and company email on the phone with OVI mail. Everything worked fine. The I decided I want to make changed to the accounts. I removed the gmail account after which the email functionality became useless. I was forced to remove OVI mail from my phone. I reinstalled it and now it is asking for my nokia messaging username and password. I tried and tried but it just don't want to sign in. My company email account was specifically persistant in this mater and even if I got it set up it would ask me for my password to log in.
I soon resorted to deleting my Nokia OVI account in attempt to release the company email from OVI mail. I then created a new OVI account to no avail. I read that I should uninstall OVI store and restart my phone then reinstall OVI store. Now OVI store is completely unable to log in to my account (obviously because the original account is now deleted) Furthermore I am unable to change OVI store's login details. This is a huge mess. Clearly someone hasn't been thinking.
I tried to download an app from the app store and it asked for security details. When I put in the details it said that it cannot make the changes. I cannot download any apps for my iphone or ipad.
This was shot and edited in 720p entirely on an iPhone 4 using iMovie. I received my iPhone 4 in the mail a day early and my friend didn't want to go wait for his alone, so I decide to go along and document the entire event with my new iPhone's HD camera. (Some of those in line were noticeably annoyed at my use of the new phone while they waited, but I tried to conceal it as much as possible). We got to the Santa Barbara State Street Apple Store around 5:30am and were about 25th in the reservation line. I had a ton of fun, and am so glad I went, Apple really knows how to release a product, maybe next time I'll just reserve it rather than get it shipped. EDIT: So I learned some tricks while editing that I thought I should share those for others playing around with iMovie
I typically work within Final Cut Pro when editing video, so going into iMovie I was met with several limitations, but I figured out a few workarounds for most of the issues I faced: Titles remain over an entire clip, so if you want titles just to appear at the beginning of a clip, (Like seen at the very beginning of my video) you must trim the end of a clip to the length you wish. Then import that same clip again, and trim the beginning to the length of your first clip. Make sure you remove the crossfade as well......
i just tried to change music details on my Nokia N8 but its look there's no any option capable to change the music detail on the device. or it come from its phone and we cant change anything?
I've just started using Ovi Player and every time I try to rip a CD, it cannot find the album details and artwork and says "Information for this CD is not currently available". The internet is definitely connected.

Ok so I am trying to put music on my iphone but it always say no content you can download music from the itunes store so I go to the itunes store but I still don't know how to get music on my iphone it has been like that for months now
I've noticed a few times that when attempting to launch the multitasking feature it has blacked out my screen and started a loading screen similar to the power off screen only to have the phone come back on and need to be unlocked again. As a temporary fix I have found switching the phone on and off fixes it, but its happened a about 3 times over the past two months.
i am trying to download music from ovi store/ringtones. everyting goes well till i receive my sms link. when i click on it and click on buy and then download - it just hangs, showing the download bar but at 0% and not moving. if i log into the store on my laptop and go to "my stuff" it shows that that spesific song has been downloaded, but its no where on my phone.
I tried opening Device manager (not desktop manager) to fix the gps problem on my phone per a thread i found right here on crackberry. I downloaded all the necessary software to do the fix, but when i open up Device Manager, i only get an icon on the quicklaunch bar on the bottom right side of the screen, once i open it, all it shows me is "Properties" and it doesnt open the actual Device Manager.
Ok seems that the entire ovi music store is borderline useless..well make that useless. The songs downloaded over the air sounds like worse than AM radio.
I cannot download a single song from the pc application, the downloads resets every time. I am yet to downaload a single song from there. Emails to the support desk has not been replied back.
Anyone facing the same problem? Now I know why the reviewers were so kind to N8..shucks for a few benjamins more I could have got the desire hd
Have downloaded music from Ovi Music Store which plays fine on music player but won't allow me to set as a ring tone - states that it is protected. Is there any way of getting round this so I can set music as ringtone?
