My blackberry's screen suddenly stopped working when mobile is slid up... Later, the next day, I tried unlocking it but touchscreen wasn't working AT ALL... View 2 RepliesI have an HTC Ozone that I flashed from WM6.1 to WM6.5 using the official ROM that was released.Before I flashed to WM6.5, I had put PHM RegEdit on my Ozone, and did the DISABLE SMS SENT MESSAGE mod.After I flashed to 6.5, the Message Sent Notification popped up after I sent a text, so I went back in with PHM, and low and behold, the mod is still the same. I tried changing it back to 0 (Default), and instead of just keeping it on, it started popping up 2 Message Sent Notifications. So, I tried setting it to 2, and nothing, just the regular Notification. And now it's set at 1, which is supposed to turn it off, but it keeps popping up.
Did I eff up something in the registry when I flashed to 6.5? Is there some way to fix this so I can turn off the stupid notification? Or will this hack not work with 6.5?
My idiot ex (a supervisor on the apple care line!) jaibroke my phone and I hate it. It won't even turn on, now, it's stuck in recovery mode. How do I fix this? I'm trying to make it work through iTunes but I get error 1601. He used something called Red Snow, if that helps. I'm absolutely sick right now. I never once wanted this thing jailbroken, nevermind absolutely broken. Especially by an Apple employee.

My school e-mail is weird because when I go inside everything looks exactly like gmail but it isn't exactly gmail beacuse you can't sign on from www.gmail.com. Gotta go through the school website. Sometimes you can see them in the preview area but when you click on them you get a weird icon that looks like a wheel. Sometimes even in the preview area you cannot see the pic at all.Still on the official OS that came with the phone. Does anyone know what the problem is? I recently swapped out to a larger memory card but I had the problem on both cards.

As you already know, the ring volume on the Torch 9800 is extremely low. So I tried to email custom mp3 ringtones to my phone to use instead. In attempting to do so, I received a message saying "More request cannot be completed. Service book information not found." I also received this message when trying to email a photo to my blackberry. This never use to happen in past blackberries I have owned.
How do I fix this "service book information not found" issue ?
I have bought a Torch, but cannot get it to set up in the Organizer configuration to sync with my Calendar in MS Office XP- Outlook. My computer runs Windows XP. The contacts and memo will configure (although) they are posting to an archive folder and when I try to change that I get Error 0x80043bea), but the Calendar and Tasks will go through the set-up process, but when you finish it, the checkmark on those 2 Outlook folder disappears before you can even select the advance settings.I have re-set the configuration on the Desktop software a couple of times, to no avail, and uninstalled the Desktop 6.0 software and reinstalled it. None of these measures have changed the problem.Any suggestions?

The phone wil enter bedside mode and i get a message stating that the phone will not charge. I am able to charge the phone without the dock using the exact same cable. I used to have a Bold, now I have a Torch.Now the problem is the following: on the Bold I had one BES email (I am the IT Manager of my company) and three BIS accounts (private mails).I moved the BES account on the Torch, no problem, but the three BIS accounts do not move for some reason.
I go to Setup=>Email accounts and the device reports correctly that "A new BlackBerry device has been detected. you mustmove email account(s) to resume email delivery to your BlackBerry device. Email delivery to your old device has been stopped."Following the list of three email accounts I want on the Torch.
I click "Move" and for any single email I have a screen that says "Device change successful. Validate your email account"I type email password for each account, click "continue", receive the message "Your password has been successfully validated.", click OK and exit setup and nothing happens.I still have the BES account but there is no trace of the three BIS accounts.I go back to Setup and the procedure starts again from the beginning.I am on Vodafone UK and the three email accounts are on Apple MobileMe (@me.com)

The question is I live outside US and I need to get it unlocked.Now, I saw that at at&t store, they are selling the torch for 499 dollars without contract. I am sure this is locked.If I can get this phone (I know I need to get someone with at&t to go with me to buy it), I can unlock it. This is for sure, right?
I see that some sites are selling it for 599 and 699 dollars but I dont want to pay the extra amount if I can get it unlocked.
So after using my Torch for a week or so, I'm starting to really miss my Bold 9700.Is it possible for me to simply put my ATT sim card from my Torch in my Bold 9700 and use the Bold seamlessly? My Bold is unlocked, but I'm worried about email settings/BBM working properly if I switch my sim card out of the Torch.
When I booted up my Bold with my Torch sim card 5 minutes ago I got a txt message saying erroneous number or something to that degree, and BBM attempted to setup a new profile.Do I need to use the device switch wizard?

Somebody told me I have to wait for new OS versions which might includes languages like Chinese.
I feel that The Torch would be the best thing for Verizon! We are not iPhone people over here. We need a newer OS and the option of having our quarty keyboards that slides from a touch screen. It will blow the Storm out of the water and it will not have iPhony competition or even Android for that matter! Plus the Torch gives us a nice size for travel not like the Droid phones.
