When I got my new torch 9800 it displayed multiple icons under different headings. Now when I go to one of the headings the icons under it are display one large at a time and require endlessly scrolling down to find the one I want. How do I change it back to displaying multiple small icons?

Needless to say it has my company email account on it and I've also just added my personal email account to it as well. In the 3 weeks since I first got the phone I've had only the corporate email account active and have thus become dependent on the New Message notifier icon at the top of the home screen.
When I see 1 or more new messages I no longer have any idea if it is a work email or a personal one. Any way to change the notifier icon for my personal email account so at a glance I can see how many items I have for either account. I know I could just turn off the notifier function for the personal account which would remove it from that notification area, but I'd really prefer not to do that, I just want some ability to tell the two apart at a glance.
I recieved my 9650 this morning.I setup 2 email addresses (that actually were moved from my curve to my bold), and all of my emails are dumping into ONE folder i hate it. I liked on my curve how I had 2 distinct seperate email icons (boxes) that had work and personal.How do I setup my phone to have multiple icons for my multiple email accounts?

I filter some emails to alternate folders to make is easier in outlook but would like separate message icons on my BB home screen instead of having all message sent to my main message icon. View 1 Replies View RelatedSince I can't reboot with memory card, my main screen is completely wrong, I can't see my four shortcut icons (I can see only hover icon), green (last calls) and red buttons doesn't work, two bottom icons (num keyboard and contacts) doesn't work too. So if I want to insert hard reset code, I canīt. Restart without memory card and SIM card, shut down-power up and restore factory settings canīt solve my problem.

However when I click the Message icon from the home window (ie when there's an asterisk on the corner in indicating a new message) it does not position the screen at the bottom of the text chat, but halfway up. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Torch 9800. Ever since I got it, I've noticed that, occasionally, messages will not show up in my inbox. My phone will buzz when I receive them, and I'll have the "new messages" icon on the homescreen, but clicking the messages icon brings me to an empty inbox.
I've noticed this behavior impacting email (my gmail account is the only one I have going to the blackberry), text messages, and two different third-party chat clients.
I don't have any messages being filtered to different folders or anything like that. Clicking "View Folder" verifies that my inbox is selected.
But here's where it gets weird: if I compose a new email and send it, when I return to the inbox, all the messages appear. It's almost as if the inbox is having a problem displaying the message list, but once I force a new item to display (the newly sent message), it shocks it back to life.
Somedays ago the keyboard on my screen stopped displaying, then one day my phone started deleting data and I had to take the battery out to stop it., and when I put it back again there is no screen display..

Now of course I've tried selecting "Show All" from the BlackBerry menu, yet none of the missing programs show up.It first started a few months ago, where my Twitter app stopped showing up (even though in BlackBerry App World it showed as installed, yet was no where to be found). I managed a work-around, by using UberSocial, so I didn't bother looking into it. Then I tried downloading Hoot Suite, with again the same problem; App World said it was installed, but the actual program was no where. Now I just had a third program do the same thing, but this one's more important. The actual app for BlackBerry App World is now not showing up; so not only can't I use its barcode reader, but I obviously can't download any programs, or update any.

I can delete these photos one by one following directions in the Guide but it does not make sense to repeat this step 150 times and there must be a quicker way to go about it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Torch 9800. This device freezes up multiple times per day. I've had it for 1 1/2 years now, and has done this since about 6 months in. Used to happen only occasionally, then more often. When I upgraded the software it seemed to stop for awhile, then started again, and is now not only annoying, but is preventing me from doing my work. It has frozen up already 4 times in a 5 hour time period. When this happens, I cannot do anything, access emails, make calls, etc. I can receive calls, but cannot disconnect once the call is complete. The freeze goes on for between 5 and 10 minutes at a time. Sometimes (but not always) once its done, an error message comes on screen that says: "Uncaught exception: Application net_rim_bb_messaging_app(1637) is not responding, process terminated. " The number (1637) is always different. I do not use BBM, and have tried to see if I can delete it from my phone, but it doesn't seem that I can. I am up to date on all software.

I already have my primary exchange account configured and is working successfully. This is not through a BES server, just added an account through Email Account Setup. Now I am trying to add a second exchange mailbox using the same exact process as the first one and I keep getting an error "Cannot log in. Please verify username and password..." Both of these accounts are accessible via OWA, and I have successfully logged into the second one with correct credentials.
I've heard that you can only connect to one Exchange account, but I thought that was only if you used Enterprise Activation.
