Oct 23, 2011My camera still works but I have to bypass usual channels to get there. How can I get the camera icon back on the "ALL" desktop?

Jul 11, 2012I am a new Blackberry user. I did not lock the screen before putting phone in my pocket. Later I realized that what ever happened, the Desktop Icon no longer appears. However, I can find it when I search for it. I hope there is an easy remedy to bring back Icon.

Mar 12, 2010Installed Desktop Manager 5.0.1, downloaded March 11, so it's as recent as can be. The documentation says there should be an "IP Modem" icon on the main screen. Not there. Re-installed, to be sure; still not there. Plowed through the on-line docs to find that the icon will be missing if there's no mdmgen.inf in my Windows (XP), but it's there. Yes, there's a "Standard Modem" in my computer modems list. So -- why no "IP Modem" icon? Don't know if this is relevant, but my Blackberry is a 9530 from Verizon.

The only way I can get the camera to come on is to go thru my media icon, click on pictures and then click on the camera. Feb 23, 2014I just got my Icon yesterday and it is my first WP so it is taking some getting used to, coming from Android.
My main question at this point is the ability to automatically sync pictures to my desktop. My last phone was a Motorola Razr Maxx which automatically downloaded all photos I took to my desktop as soon as it connected to my wifi. Is there an option similar with the WP8? I have Google Drive and just set up One Drive but I would rather have it hit my wifi to copy files down locally. I know I can do it manually but I like not having to worry about it.

I've unistalled Destop Manager, reverted back to 5.0.0 and I still have the same issue. This was and is currently setup with my Outlook 2003 (SP3) exchange server to forward my work emails, and it worked up until I updated to 5.0.1 last week.

Disconnect the network cable and log in with cached credentials and it never opens up. Is there a fix for this? Running Symantec Endpoint on Dell laptop.

Aug 21, 2012I got a blackberry torch 2 months ago at first it took pictures fine and it saved to the media folder. I do not have a memory card in the phone and there is no pictures on and only 9 songs so it cannot be the memory that is causing this problem.When I take a picture it shows at the bottom of the screen but it does not save to the phone as well as when I bluetooth music it downloads and shows download complete but when I check the music folder it does'nt appear.I have tried inserting a memory card but the items on the memory card does not appear on the phone.

I do not know how to get Desktop Manager (6.0 Bundle 1165) to recognize Outlook. May 17, 2012Until last Tuesday, I was away on holidays. Prior to this my Blackberry was working perfectly. However since coming back, I noticed that my laptop & handset do not talk. I was told by the Blackberry software that my handset needed a new upgrade. I tried to upgrade, but this failed & in the meantime, my contacts which were supposedly backed up were obliterated. It claimed the fact that I had a password (which I used to stop my phone making phone calls without my knowing in my pocket) was preventing the upgrade from happening.
I am now literally without phone & lost.
