BB freezes and timer/clock appears middle of screen. I have a new Torch and have had no problems with it for the first 3 weeks. Now for the past 2 weeks it freezes constantly. A little black clock/timer appears in the middle of the screen as if its struggling to 'actually do the work'?!

When this happens I can not do anything with it. I cannot even turn it off. I fixed it by taking out the battery.

It's very frustrating that every time I go to do anything on my phone either the screen is frozen or its updating. It wont even let me turn the screen on unless I open the keypad - freezes and updates when trying to hang up a call- takes two minutes to prep phone for every use.

Since new-I have been experiencing the problem where the phone hangs and a small clock appears in the center of the screen. While this clock is there, nothing can be done on the phone-it normally lasts for around a minute or two. Since a few weeks I have the very odd effect, that the S-II's built-in Clock app's timer does not ring, when going off. It silently displays "Time's up" on screen, but doesn't sound nor vibrate. I do have set a sound in Clock => Timer => Menu => Settings => Alarm Tone and the volume is turned to 100%. I also have set all sounds in Home screen => Menu => Settings => Sound => Volume up to 100% but ther is not sound!t drives me nuts and makes the device practically useless as an alert device

View 2 Replies View RelatedI love the bedside mode of the Storm 2, especially with the dock I recently purchased. The only problem is, I like the room dark as possible and even with the phone in bedside mode when charging, and the setting check to dim the clock, it's still far to bright.
Is there a way of having clock on, but have the screen go off with the usual setting to black the screen after say 30 seconds or whatever I choose for the backlighting time out, then have the screen come on if I reach over and touch the screen to display the clock, then letting the backlighting go off again after the preset time?
This would make the setup perfect for me, allowing me to use the Storm 2 as a bedside clock without having to have the display on all the time, but being able to turn it on for a short period of time as needed. If this is possible, can somebody post the settings needed
i was watching a video on my blackberry bold and the battery was almost dead, the LED was flashing and there was the red sign of the low battery but i ignored that and kept watching the video then suddenly the blackberry freezes and the loading sign appears i take out the battery and put it back in (hard reset)
but it didnt turn back on!! nothing happened! the screen remained black and the LED didnt flash the normal red color at the first of booting .i waited overnight with the battery out.. but the next day it still didnt boot and the LED didnt even turn red:S:S..then i tried charging it.. but nothing happened .. and the LED didnt turn red.
My Stats: Blackberry Curve 8310 on AT&T NO Data Plan I have done my research and after about a week of searching I have not been able to come up with an answer Before I knew that my 8310 was not able to get WIFI I deleted my TCP Settings.I re entered my TCP Settings with:
APN: WAP.CINGULAR
Username: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password: CINGULAR1
After these settings have been restored I am still unable to send and receive a picture message. Things that I have tried: Battery Pull Uppercase and Lowercase entry for my TCP Settings I considered doing a factory reset but I don't want to lose my brickbreaker high score

Everything's been working spectacularly until today.This morning I changed the security settings for the AT&T Live TV app and the Pandora app. It then asked for a reboot, which I allowed. The phone turns off, back on to the reboot screen (with the BB logo and "BlackBerry") along with the reboot loading bar on the bottomThe thing is, the bar loads completely and that's it, it stays frozen there Nothing else loads. I took out the battery and retried. Several times. Now I am just letting it sit there, load bar completely loaded, having done nothing but be frozen for about an hour now.

For example. Phone is on charge, lock screen clock is shown. Time doesnt move.
