My iphone has thrown a fit and decided to stay at this blue screen and won't respond to anything. Not pushing buttons, not connecting to the computer, nothing. It's pretty much a paperweight at this point. What do I need to do?
uncaught exception: application net_rim_bb_unifiedsearch_lib(183) is not responding; process terminated.
Qué debo hacer?
El servicio técnico de mi operador en mi ciudad no conocen como funciona este modelo, incluso me preguntaron si lo había comprado en Perú, Black Berry debería preocuparse porque los operadores puedan ayudar y conocer los productos.Gracias espero consejos.
Whenever I click on the Blackberry Messenger icon it will not open and displays the pop up error 'Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointer Exception'.

I received the following error when I tried to retrieve a text last PM: Uncaught exception: String index out of range: 31. I have a BB Torch 9800. I have rebooted several times and also removed the battery. This happens every time of select the Text icon and makes the text function un-usable.
I recently updated my OS from the factory 6.0 Bundle 5xx (?) to Bell's 6.0 Bundle 2391. Since doing that, I can no longer receive my text messages. Regular messages and everything else seems to work fine, but when I select "Text Messages" I receive: "Uncaught Exception: String index out of range: 31".I have wiped and re-activated on our BES, and although my Text Messages worked for a day, today after someone left a VM, I can no longer get back into my text messages. A battery pull does not help. Any ideas on what to do to fix this?

I have reported this so many times to BB that I am starting to think they don't really have anyone out there fixing these things as we have had at least one update since the first report and its still happening. My device freezes up and eventually comes back with the following message:Uncaught exception: Application net-rim-bb-messaging-app (148) is not responding: process terminated. Then control is returned to the device. Its now starting to freeze up when I turn the device on first thing in the morning, though here it doesn't normally come up with the message but after about 5 mins will give me access to the device.
Everytime I reboot my BB Torch 9800, I get this message: Uncaught exception: Application net_rim_bb_phone_app (106) is not responding; process terminated.
After accepting a recent upgrade, Blackberry Appworld now hangs when I try to close it and generates this error message after a while: Uncaught exception: Application net_rim_bb_appworld(501) is not responding; process terminated Is there something I can do to fix it?

I downloaded Beamexplorer File Finder so I could open a zip file and can't get it to work. I downloaded the file to my file cabinet and when I click to open it it says "cannot open file". how to get the app to work and open the file.
I've had my Torch now for many months (approx. 9) from Vodafone. Last week, all of a sudden and for no apparent reason, the Vodafone app (icon looks like a SIM card with Vodafone written underneath it) automatically opens when the phone is switched on. For example: I have auto on/off enabled, so when the phone autos on - the Vodafone app is launched; or if I switch off the device using the power on/off, when the device is switched back on the app loads.
I have called Vodafone about this - they passed me to Blackberry. I have been trying for 3 days to speak to someone at Blackberry - virtually impossible and when you do get through they immediately refer me back to Vodafone.
When I got my 9800 I used DM to do the device switch from my 9000. Now all I have in my Contacts are emails addresses. No phone numbers, none!, some contacts without emails addresses are just missing, and no home addresses. I thought all that info was on my sim card? I did do a back-up, but it says the file is an IPD and it won't open.
I had this problem on my prior 9700. What happens is when I open up an unread text message it always doesn't show that text on the screen. Instead it brings me to a random part of the conversation(although it is usually the same part over and over). This is very small, but very annoying indeed. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to fix this issue
I really like the torch, but I've looked all over the settings for a fix to this: When I open up an SMS conversation, it doesn't always open to the most recent entry, even if I was on the most recent before closing the conversation. I then have to attempt the tricky "flick the track pad up just enough to get to the bottom without actually putting the cursor in the message" maneuver just to get to the bottom.
This is about opening from a POPUP, not directly from the calendar. In OS4.x, opening a popup reminder always asked if I wanted to open the series or the occurrence. In OS6.x it just opens the series without asking. Therefore, if I need to reschedule the appointment, I have to go into the Calendar app, where opening the appointment does ask if I want to open the series or the occurrence as it should. I shouldn't have to do that. I skipped OS5.x, so I don't know what it did.
I've been going around and around with this issue for the last couple days. When I opened citysearch it said there was an update. After updating it all it did was open, nothing else, then it just closed. So I deleted it, thinking I'd reinstall it, but it doesn't show up in appworld when I do a search. So I go to appworld online and send have it send me a link, but no reinstall button. So i delete appworld to see if that will fix it. now when I try to reinstall it I get the message..."sorry your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support blackberry app world" Ok.....so I reinstall the os just for the heck of it. Still same thing. Why is it so difficult to add apps to this phone? I never had this kind of grief with my 9000.
I have a 3 Month old Blackberry Torch 9870. Yesterday the battery was drained, so when I got home & charged it up I tried to switch it on. When its on it has a white screen that lists "AddressBook, AltMusic, AltPictures, AltRingTones etc.". On top of that screen I get error messages galore! See below:
These errors go on and on and on... They dont go away.I have done a device restore through C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesResearch In MotionAppLoader, this has not worked.
