My battery is draining from 100% to 20% in 12 hours-overnight with no use. I bought a new battery thinking there was something wrong with the battery but the same thing is happening with the new battery.
The past few days my phone (torch 9810) has started coming up with the old "battery too low for radio use" but when it has loads of battery! It's a tad frutrating as I know I have plenty of battery but it could still go at any time.
My Blackberry Torch 9800 was given to me by a friend. He advised me to immediately charge the unit once the battery reaches 50%. If the battery will be emptied, it will take 3 days before it can come back to life.
I was wondering is there any Other way to pair a new battery as the device I have don't seem to work and my phone keeps dying one the batterys to bout 3/4s full . I seem to think its the battery as my old one has swelled and its hard to get cover back over it . ive followed instructions on the pairing device n had it to a local fone shop to
I bought a brand new battery, and left it to charge overnight, when I woke up, the battery icon was still red with a plug logo on it (which insures me that it's charging) I thought the battery was messed up, so I returned it and took another one, but again, it's been in the charger for 2 hours straight now, and the battery icon is still red with the plug icon on it.
I recently got a replacement for my torch 9800 from t-mobile as it had broken but the battery was fine. I tried to connect it up to the replacement phone and it didn't work. T-mobile did not send the phone with a new battery. Is there anyway of getting the old battery to work on the new phone?
I plugged my Torch in overnight to charge. When I woke up in the morning, the phone would not turn on so I took the battery out a few times and tried to reset it. When I plugged it into the charger and tried to turn it on, I got the battery symbol with a red X through it.

I use BB Torch, have observed with dismay how the phone gets hot & battery runs low in 2-3 hours. This is getting fraustrated & hope some one in house has way out.Could it be my battery?
Is there some trick to getting the battery cover off, I followed the manual but it wont budge this is the first time I have tried to remove it and I didn't want to break something. My screen and all keys are frozen while trying to download the latest 6.0 software update. Not having a good day.....
I am running the quickpull app, but has anyone else noticed how hard it is to actually remove the battery in the Torch? I have had two 9800s and I've noticed this with both of them.Trying to get the battery out is "Torcher"!!!!
I have a strange problem with my 9810. Yesterday I pulled out my phone from charging at 7:AM (100%). I put it on GPRS , because i didn't did any browsing on that day and to see how much my battery will last. So after a few phones, sms, emails, I was down to 80% by 10PM. Was very happy with what I saw. In background were running Accuweather and Facebook with update once every 3 hours. Also I have Battery Bost MAX, and an application which shows me battery icon with procentage.(Smart Blndie). I am in an area with good signal. Put the phone in the holster, and went to bed. I was very courios to see what the battery shows. At 6 AM i was shocked : 42%... I can't blame it on the applications, because if there were their fault, my battery should discharge the same over day... GPS is off, wifi is off. The phone has 2 weeks (almost new). I am runing 7.1.0.658 OS.. My screen is at 10%, and turn off over 20 seconds...
I have had my Torch 9810 for many months and have consistently gotten up to two days on one charge - until the last few weeks. I have tried to locate any apps that might be running in the background that mysteriously got turned on. Is ther any status option that lets you know what's running? And why does the new mesage status icon (red *) not go away when I clear the messages?
I have a Torch 9800 phone. Lately I have had issues with the phone dieing after a few seconds of looking at an app or taking a picture. My battery reads 98% and after looking at the app the phone shuts down in seconds as there is not enough power. Some times I can reboot the phone and it will show a high percentage then dies again. I have re installed the OS a few times now and have not added any apps. Is this the battery or the phone having issues? I do not want to waist money on a new battery if it is the phone because for the most part it keeps a charge only not when your using it for more than a phone.
I have a battery icon on my wallpaper/homescreen showing me my battery life. It is on the same bar that you receive notification of bbm's or emails etc. how i can delete this icon?
1) i charged the battery of my phone over night (meaning in the morning it was fully charged). by 3pm it was already totally empty. i re-charged it till dinner. now at 11:30pm it is again fully empty and i noticed also that the phone and battery are totally hot! what do i do? this doesn't seem normal. i recently downloaded 2 games onto the phone but i don't think this has necessary somethign to do with it.
2) i have a problem with the trackpad. it moves around the menu normally and sometimes within inside options, but as example inside an sms to move up and down sentences or messages, it doesn't move at all. it doesn't move at all. i try to see if i changed a setting or something but didn't seem to find anything.
I have Blackberry Torch 9810 and I have recently upgraded my phone to the updated OS 7.0 Bundle 2406. After this update, the mobile battery is longing approximately for one day only.
the new bb torch 2 battery life isn't making me happy. i've been charging the phone for the enitre day now, and the only thing that's opens or being used is the bbm service...i charged it for the entire night, and i used the bbm service once this morning, and the battery is half its life now...what do i do to make sure the battery life last longer?
I have a problem regarding the battery life on the Torch 9810. I have switched off everything I could but still no extension on the battery life. Maximum I get out of it is 6 hours. If I make a call I have to keep it on the charger to prevent it from cutting out in the conversation. What do I do now?
I let my month-old Torch power down completely for the first time. I plugged it in to recharge, and nothing is happening. I went through all the troubleshooting advice on the BB website, and nothing worked. I even tried 2 different chargers. Normally when charging, the device is slightly warm.
My bb can't seem to start up itself ever seems after battery went flat.Plug into com there is red light after which it went dead without appearing anything.....
My torch's battery died a few days back and when I charge it the screen just stays blank and I can't see the red light either. When I connect via usb - my pc doesn't detect the phone either. I really don't see what's happened to it as it was working perfectly but since the battery died..i just can't get it to power up again. I have left it on charge for 2-3 days and still nothing happens - no red light - no sign of the battery being charge
Since downloading the BT wifi app my battery seems to be draining really quickly is there a way or a setting to prevent this, apart form uninstalling the app?
My battery goes completely dead but ONLY after i switch it off for the night. It seems to drain away but is perfectly OK during the day. I bought a new (Blackberry) battery and it does the same thing. Is there ac software fix for this or is my phone (bought from a reputable used hone store) just useless?I was also told that the little dot just inside the phone by the charger is supposed o be gold in colour and of it has turned blue then it means that the phone has water damage?
my wife has bought a new BB Torch 9800 and she kept complaining as to why the battery doesn't last that long.she explains to me that during the day (when the phone is fully charged) she uses/checks her Facebook, listen to MP3 files and play some games. but this is not like during her whole 8-hour shift of work of course. maybe during her break times. And she said that by the end of the day (by 7pm) the battery is almost fully drained.
